One Piece: Rise of Valoria

Chapter 62: Chapter 62: The Live Broadcast

The early morning sun was still casting a soft, golden glow over Sabaody Archipelago as William and the girls gathered outside Shakky's bar, ready to start their mission. The bar was quiet, except for the fond, teasing exchanges between the group and Shakky and Rayleigh as they bid farewell.

"Well, Shakky, Rayleigh, see you later," William said. "Today is going to be quite the spectacle. Hope you get a front-row seat."

Rayleigh chuckled, giving William a nod. "Go make a mess, kid. Just don't be surprised if the world starts shaking after this."

Shakky patted Sandersonia on the shoulder. "Take care, all of you. And William—try not to bring this whole island down."

"No promises." William smirked. "Let's go, ladies," and with a final wave, he led the girls away, setting off to hunt the slave traders that plagued the island.

---

The morning was anything but calm as they hunted down the slavers, slipping between the various groves of the archipelago with silent ferocity. William was relentless, his gaze sharp and unforgiving as he killed the slave traders hiding in the alleys of Grove 12.

A thin, wiry slaver saw him approach and attempted to flee, but William's hand shot out, catching him by the collar. The slaver's eyes widened with fear as William looked down at him with icy calm.

"Your days of profiting off human suffering end now," William said, his voice cold as he summoned a whirlwind of flames that engulfed the slaver in an instant. The man's screams were short-lived, his form disintegrating into ash as William turned, moving on without a glance back.

---

In another part of the grove, Hancock and Marigold moved through the slavers with ease, their opponents no match for their power. Hancock barely lifted a finger, sending Slave Arrows raining down on the slavers. Each one struck was instantly petrified, frozen in terror as their bodies turned to stone.

"You're nothing but filth," Hancock said coldly, her eyes blazing with disgust. "This is the only mercy you deserve."

Beside her, Marigold tapped the ground, channeling the power of her new Demon Fruit, the Fuwa Fuwa no Mi. In seconds, giant snakes—crafted from the earth itself—rose up and wound through the slavers. With a flick of her hand, Marigold commanded them to strike, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction as the serpents tore through the terrified men.

---

Meanwhile, Robin and Sandersonia were unstoppable in Grove 18. Robin's Demon Fruit ability allowed her to sprout countless hands on the slavers, and expertly snapping their necks. Her movements were precise, almost casual, as she dispatched the men with a calm efficiency.

Beside her, Sandersonia unleashed the full force of her basilisk powers. She fixed her gaze on any slaver who looked her way, turning them to stone in an instant. For those who tried to avoid her deadly stare, she spat venomous bullets from her mouth, each one lethal upon impact. Her cold smile deepened as she watched the slavers collapse, helpless before her power.

---

By the time noon approached, William and the girls had left no stone unturned, clearing out the slave traders from Areas 2 through 29. They gathered in front of the infamous Human Auctioning House in Area 1, their expressions hard with determination. William took out his Den Den Mushi, dialing Morgans to make sure everything was prepared.

"Everything ready, Morgans?" William asked.

"All set, tyrant," Morgans replied, sounding both nervous and excited. "Are you going to do this on the auction stage itself? That'll be quite the sight."

"That's the plan," William said. "I'll let you know when it's time to start the broadcast." He ended the call with a smirk, looking at the girls. "Let's make our entrance."

---

The Auction House was buzzing with anticipation as the crowd waited for the bidding to begin. Nobles and wealthy buyers filled the seats, eager for the day's grotesque "merchandise." The auctioneer Disco, was moments from beginning the auction when the heavy doors swung open.

William led the way, the girls flanking him as they moved toward the stage. Disco looked up, irritation flashing across his face as he started to shout for security, but the words died on his lips as William raised a hand. Ice coated Disco's body within seconds, and with a single, casual kick, William shattered the man into countless frozen shards, scattering them across the stage.

The crowd gasped, stunned into silence. Before anyone could react further, Sandersonia and Marigold moved, swiftly grabbing the two figures seated in the front row—Saint Rosward and his son, Saint Charlos. The Celestial Dragons barely had time to comprehend the danger they were in before Robin stepped forward, taking down the guards who rushed in with ruthless efficiency.

The Celestial Dragons squirmed, their expressions quickly shifting from shock to indignation. Saint Charlos, oblivious to his situation, glared at William and the girls.

"How dare you touch us!" Charlos spat, his face twisting in disgust. "Do you know who we are?!"

"Yes," William said, his voice dripping with contempt. "You're exactly who I'm here for."

The girls stood firm by his side, their expressions as unyielding as his. He gave a slight nod toward the video Den Den Mushi, signaling Morgans. It was time to begin.

---

Around the world, people gathered in the streets and bars, turning their attention to screens as the live broadcast began. Across the Grand Line and beyond, in every corner of the world, all eyes were on the infamous Kael D. William and the company surrounding him. As the image sharpened, William's face filled the screen, flanked by Hancock, Marigold, Robin, and Sandersonia.

In a corner of the New World, Whitebeard watched with a thoughtful frown, his eyes narrowing as he recognized the man in the broadcast. "What're you up to, kid?" he muttered to himself, his interest piqued. "Celestial Dragons! Gurararara...interesting"

On Whole Cake Island, Big Mom leaned back in her chair, laughing as she watched. "A live broadcast? And with the Celestial Dragons, no less. MA MA MA MA, this is gonna be fun!"

Kaido, meanwhile, merely grunted, watching with mild interest, while Shanks gave a small, curious smile, wondering what the boy who'd made so many waves years ago would say to the world.

Doflamingo grinned, his teeth flashing as he reclined with a wicked smile, muttering to himself, "This kid is crazier than I thought." Even the Revolutionary Army, scattered as they were, watched in silence, waiting to see what would unfold.

---

In Marineford, the tension was palpable as Sengoku and the top Navy officials scrambled to react. They'd been in the midst of a high-level meeting when a junior officer burst into the room, his face pale with urgency.

"Fleet Admiral! You're going to want to see this," he said, voice trembling.

Sengoku turned, his brows knitting together. "What is it?"

"It's… it's Kael D. William, sir," the officer stammered. "He's… he's started a live broadcast!"

Sengoku's eyes widened, and he quickly moved to turn on the large Den Den Mushi monitor, feeling the room go silent as William's face appeared. His jaw clenched as he recognized the setting: the Human Auctioning House at Sabaody.

The Fleet Admiral shot a sharp look at the officers around him. "We need to block that broadcast immediately! Do not let that message spread."

But even as he issued the order, he knew they were too late. The Den Den Mushi relayed William's image with perfect clarity, and even the great Fleet Admiral couldn't stop the world from hearing what the "Tyrant" had to say.

Sengoku glared at the screen, his fists clenched as he watched William stand proudly before the people of the world. He knew that whatever William had planned, it would shake their foundations, and he was powerless to stop it.

---

On the screen, William's gaze was sharp. He knew that every pirate, Marine, revolutionary, and ordinary citizen had their eyes on him now, waiting for his next move.

With a nod to the girls beside him, he took a deep breath, preparing to tell his story—the true story that the World Government had worked so hard to bury. He was ready to confront the lies, expose the corruption, and show the world exactly who he was and what he stood for.

And as he opened his mouth to speak, the world held its breath, captivated by the one man who dared to capture the Celestial Dragons and challenge the might of the World Government.
