One Piece : The Blood Emperor

As the Strawhats traveled, Nami recalled something important.

"Luke, I just forgot. Who's that old man earlier?"

She finally asked. Her curiosity was killing her. Who was Luke? A man with full of confidence and composure. This is the first time she saw him so respectful to an old man whose duty is to calm a raging whale.

"Does it matter?" Luke stood up as he prepared to rest inside the cabin carrying his reclining chair. Soon, the weather will be chaotic so he was preparing to find a cozy place to rest.

Nami followed Luke to inquire further. In fact, all the Strawhats followed along while also dying in curiosity.

When Luke revealed something, it should be a valuable information they will never forget.

Seeing them like this, Luke shrugged as he said casually,

"Crocus was the crew of Gold Roger Pirates, the previous Pirate King. He's their ship doctor."

"Ah! Gold Roger's crew?!" Everyone jumped around in surprise. They finally know why Luke acted so reserve in front of Crocus.

Even Mr. 9 and Ms. Wednesday were shaken by the revelation.

As if nothing happened before him, Luke was fidgeting at his ring while relaxing.

He already fed one of the five rings of Shiki's Float-Float Devil Fruit. With this power, he can easily lift any non-living things no matter how heavy it was.

As for one of the other five rings, he's preparing to create the gun of his preference, Magnum Desert Eagle, a golden one.

Meanwhile, the crew got surprised to see the weather suddenly changed from sunny day to winter.

Nami immediately went to check things out as the log pose constantly changing it's pointers.

With the help of her vast detection ability, she's able to notice that their ship was going on circles. She then commanded the whole crew to follow her every instructions.

Mr. 9 and Ms. Wednesday were surprised that Nami was able to study the changing weather without any help. From what they know, the crew just entered to explore the grand line. So it should be fair that the Strawhats don't know a thing about the abnormality of this place.

After leaving the chaotic weather section with little damage to the ship, everyone praised Nami for her navigation skills.

Of course Nami got overwhelmed as she blushed while being flattered. Unlike the original story, Nami didn't struggle too much because of her Devil Fruit ability. It is a good thing since Nami is a sensible lady. Her ego didn't inflate just because she successfully led the Strawhats to safety. What comes to her first is the safety of her friends and family aside from gathering bunch of money.

As the Strawhats continued their journey, they also continued their training. Especially Zoro and Sanji that keeps improving faster than the rest.

Luke personally bullied the Strawhats by using lots of nuts. Every flick, a nut became as fast as bullet that hits it's target.

Every hit caused them to writhe in pain. Even though Zoro and others don't wear blindfold, they still couldn't escape the fast approaching nut, hitting their body hard.

Luke guided them patiently. Of course he also enjoyed their suffering. His menacing grin caused the group to curse at him in their mind for being such a heartless demon, the vampire devil and lord of hell.

He also threw a bunch to Luffy, but the latter easily evaded the nuts which inspired the rest of the crew only to be bullied once again.

Meanwhile, Mr. 9 and Ms. Wednesday shivered in fear when they saw how capable Luke and Luffy was. It's as if these people are veteran monsters.

Ms. Wednesday's eyes shone, but she still hesitated. She was having a battle of conflict inside her mind. In the end, she still follows her original goal, to lead the Strawhats to the Whisky Peak.

Days later, the Strawhats finally arrived at their destination.

Mr. 9 and Ms. Wednesday escaped the ship while Luffy didn't mind about it.

What surprised them was that, they were warmly welcomed by the people in island. They admired pirates for being brave while sailing the seas for adventure.

With that, the town chief issued a banquet for the Strawhats, of course Luke and Liz stayed the ship together with Billy the duck.

Luke knew this part as he didn't like these people's fake enthusiasm.

The rest of the Strawhats enjoyed themselves. The party maniacs, Yosaku, Johnny and Usopp danced around while drinking. Zoro and Nami competed for drinking contest. Sanji flirts with coquetish women and Luffy ate lots of meals.

"You don't wanna go there and enjoy too?" Liz asked Luke as she stared at the place where people are celebrating.

"I'm already enjoying myself here with you." Luke winked at her as he tasted his wine.

Liz just squinted her eyes at Luke as she smiled.

"Why? You don't like my advances?" Luke asked.

"It's not that, but I'm not looking for a partner until I reached my destination." Liz replied.

"Hmm. So you are looking for a certain man there? I bet long distance relationship sucks." Luke chuckled as he enjoyed his wine. He then ignored her as he went outside to watch the upcoming show.

Liz' eyes widened as she stared at the back of Luke. For some reason, she's having a guts that this man knows something about her.

...

Midnight...

The head of the town ordered the people to capture the Strawhats. Apparently, people in this town are all bounty hunters.

They aimed for the head of Luffy who got 22 million berries of bounty.

While these bounty hunters were about to execute their plan, Zoro made his entrance.

Zoro knew the origin of Mr. 9 and Ms. Wednesday in their first encounter. There was an company named Baroque Works that does shady things. He was invited before but he rejected.

Before entering the banquet, he already prepared himself. He will treat these place as his training ground.

Nami also pretended to be drunk as she left the scene to ransack some treasures. However, these bounty hunters are all broke.

On another corner of the houses, Luke glance at the two sleeping animals that the people called as Unluckies. He didn't kill them, just put them to sleep. Apparently, these smart animals can survey the surroundings like watchers for gathering intelligent reports.

Zoro easily defeated the bounty hunters despite having a suppressed body. Thanks to his Observation Haki, he can freely move anywhere he want while cutting enemies.

Meanwhile, a pair of visitor entered the town. Their aim is to eliminate two rats that exposes the secret of their boss. They were Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentine.

The rats turned out to be the town chief and Ms. Wednesday, also known as Princess Vivi of Alabasta.

Vivi started to escape with the help of town chief, Igaram who blocks Mr. 5 who has a Devil Fruit ability to use any part of his body as explosives and Ms. Valentine who has a Devil Fruit ability to manipulate her weight at will.

In the end Vivi got cornered by Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentine as they easily defeated Igaram. When the two was about to finish the job, Zoro appeared and saved her.

Turned out that Nami had a devious plan on rescuing Princess Vivi in exchange for lots of money, one billion berries.

Zoro and Mr. 5 was about to clash when Luffy was running, wanting to confront Zoro for killing the people he treated as benefactors.

This time, Luffy wasn't bloated like in the original story as he can now compress the meals he ate. It's because of his growing power that he can now properly control his body.

Luffy didn't dally as he punched Zoro really hard.

Zoro was alarmed. If this punch hit him, he will be in coma for days.

BOOOOM!!!

Luffy's punch surprised the people around. They never seen anyone who can punch at this magnitude.

Nami who witnessed the scene also shocked and despaired. Luffy has gone mad that he's killing his crewmate. Just how much of an airhead can her captain be?

Zoro opened his eyes and a silhouette in front of him appeared. His eyes lit up as he blurted,

"Luke!"

Nami also felt relieved seeing Luke was around. She can finally relax this time.

"I think you need to calm down first, Luffy." Luke said with serious face. He knew if he don't do something about it, Zoro will likely to die because Luffy right now is way above Zoro's level.

Zoro did killed those people, even kids and nuns. However, all of them were bounty hunters that Zoro was familiar with.

Meanwhile, Luffy saw it in a different way. Zoro killed those innocent people for no good reason. He invited Zoro to be the part of his Nakama because he knew that the latter was a good natured man and don't kill innocent lives. Now, he's doubting himself if his decision was right.

"Move aside, Luke! I need to kill this ingrate!!" Luffy was blinded by fury as he shouted.

"I will only let you go if you calm down." Luke replied without backing down. His hand was still connecting with Luffy's fist. Every passing second, the ground were cracking from the continuous pressure.

"Then I will defeat you first and then kill that bastard next!" Luffy coated his arms with haki as his body started to produce hot steam.

Luke frowned. Luffy's anger truly reached through the roof.

"Fine. Let's settle this with a fight." Luke said as his crimson eyes glowed brightly which terrified the onlookers.

BOOOOM!!

Luke swatted Luffy ouside the town to be their battlefield. He then turned to Nami,

"Capture these Baroque something people. I will deal with the captain."

With that, Luke flew towards where Luffy was located. As Luke arrived,

KACHACK!! BOOOOOOOM!!!!

Luke blocked the incoming giant punch, but he was still flung down to the ground, creating a massive crater.

He then stood up and was surprised to see Luffy was using the 4th Gear technique.

"You're really serious, huh? Is this your new ability?" Luke asked as he started to float.

"Hmph! Let's get this over with." Luffy snorted. He was using the bounce man form at the moment, his most destructive form of 4th Gear technique.

"Confident, are we? Sure. Give it all you got, Luffy. I won't go easy on you this time." Luke waved his hand and the blood domain got activated.

Both men met in the middle before exchanging a punch.

CRAAACKLE!!! RUMMMMBLE!! BOOOOOOOOOM!!!
