Luffy observed Law's expression and read his mind like a book.

"Hehe... I know what you are wondering. I am not a pirate now. But I will be in the future. You have a huge potential so I want to scout you to be my crew member."

Law could not help but feel his facial muscles twitching. He sighed and replied. "Are you trying to mess with me? Tell me clearly who you are... are you perhaps-"

Before Law could finish his sentence, Luffy spoke first. "If I was sent by Doflamingo, then you would have opened your eyes in front of him and not here, in a safe place."

Law could not refute his words and was embarrassed for getting pointed out by the young man.

Luffy laughed and said. "I have no connection with that trash bastard. And if you agree to join me, I promise to you that I will help you in killing that guy with your own hands."

Law's eyes sparkled for a moment and he was genuinely interested. But then he paused and thought carefully for a few seconds.

'How does he know about my hatred of that bastard?... He is very suspicious. I think this guy has some connection with that Doflamingo...'

Luffy saw him contemplating his offer and shook his head with a sigh. "It seems you are suspecting me. You must be wondering how I know about your hatred for Doflamingo. I cannot tell you everything but I can only say to you that I also hate Doflamingo... And as for why I want you to join my pirate crew because one you have a problem potential and second you are the user of the Ope Ope no Mi. That fruit has one of the highest potential. I was chasing for that fruit for the last two years but I was a step late as you get your hands on it before me."

The last line was a lie but a little lie was not bad if he could actually persuade him to join his crew.

Law listened patiently and nodded his head. He could believe that the young man wanted to ask him to join his crew because of his devil fruit.

After all, the government was willing to pay 5 billion bellies just to get their hands on this fruit.

"You said that you can help me in getting the head of that bastard. How do you plan to do that?" Law asked curiously, his facial expression was solemn.

Luffy grinned and said. "Finally, a great question... if I want to kill him, I am at least 70% confident that I can do it right now but since I promised to let you kill him with your own hands then I will train you to become stronger. Even though you have Ope Ope no Mi but the devil fruit is not the strongest power in this world. It is Haki!"

"Haki! I know about it. The Cadre of the Donquixote can use that power. And that bastard Doflamingo even possesses the Conqueror Spirit, the rarest form of Haki." Law said seriously.

"You mean this..." Luffy smiled and released a burst of Conqueror Haki, shaking the entire cave.

Law's eyes widened in shock as he stared at Luffy while his forehead was covered with a layer of sweat.

"This... this is..."

"Conqueror Haki! I have it too. Not only that but I have the other two Hakis too. Join me and I will teach you everything. Not only that I also know many things about your Devil Fruit too. I can teach you how to develop it and maybe even awaken it."

"Then do you want me to perform that surgery on you?" Law stared at Luffy and asked cautiously.

Luffy listened and understood what he was talking about. "Ah, you mean that Perennial Youth Operation. Nah, I don't want that. It will cost you your life and I am not interested in living forever. Do you know how painful it is to watch your loved ones and friends die before your eyes while you can only watch helplessly? I do not want this shit!... And never tell anyone about it or your life will be in danger. The World Government will do everything in its power to hunt you down. Even powerful Pirates will chase you all around the world."

Law was surprised to hear such sincere words of concern. He could feel that Luffy was really worried for him from his heart and it was not just an act.

A rare smile appeared on his face and Law said. "Alright. I agree to join your pirate group. But you better not forget your promise."

"Haha... I am not a guy to go back on my words." Luffy raised his head and declared proudly.

Just at that moment, a mechanical voice echoed in Luffy's head, startling him.

'Hidden Feature!' Luffy's eyes lit up with joy and he quickly opened the new panel.

Luffy could access all the information related to Law from this panel but that was not his center of attention since just like how he got some powerful buffs to get strong quickly, he found that some of those buffs could also be applied to the crew members.

Not only that but he also gained two other powerful bug-like abilities.

The first one was the !

A vast space filled with all sorts of technologically advanced stuff that would help anyone entering inside it. If that was not enough then it also had all the information regarding the powerhouses from different animeverse that would guide the trainee and train them to grow stronger.

It was already broken enough but then adding the rule that a day outside was equal to a year inside.

The only downside of this absolutely crazy and broken ability was only that it could be used every two weeks and that meant one could only access this chamber twice a month.

As for the second and last ability was actually ! 

It was a gambling ability as its name suggested but the best part was it could actually draw powerups, abilities, skills, bloodlines, and all kinds of stuff from the different animeverse.

The drawback was that it consumed points that Luffy could gather by exchanging treasures and other crazy stuff.

As for money, it had a ratio of 100:1! A hundred belly checks could be exchanged for one point.

For a simple draw, Luffy required 100 points but for the most powerful things, Luffy needed at least a million points.
