Kuroba Kaito was equally surprised when he noticed Sera Masumi staring at him.

What Kuroba Kaito didn't anticipate was Sera Masumi running straight toward him.

Kaitou Kid felt a surge of disbelief.

He had no time to dwell on it as Sera Masumi closed the distance between them.

Judging by the determined look in her eyes and the way she charged toward him without hesitation, it was clear that she had figured out who he was.

Kuroba Kaito, meanwhile, spun on his heels and bolted just as Sera Masumi was about to reach him, weaving seamlessly back into the crowd.

Like a slippery loach, he maneuvered swiftly between the tourists.

Even in the densest parts of the crowd, he slipped through with ease.

While many people caught a glimpse of Takashi Tsukino disguised as Kuroba Kaito, no one recognized Kaito Kid's appearance after his second disguise.

As a result, despite blending into the throngs of people, he didn't stand out to the crowd searching for Kaitou Kid.

Shouts of awe and enthusiasm erupted from the audience.

He was confident in his disguise.

As far as anyone could see, he was just another ordinary passerby.

The realization struck him—Sera Masumi must have placed a tracking device on him.

Kuroba Kaito had already changed clothes once, so he was sure nothing was stuck to his shoulder.

Reaching into the inside of his collar, he found a small, hard object.

He removed it, confirming his suspicions.

Sera Masumi had secretly attached a tracking device back in the collection room.

But a new question arose in Kuroba Kaito's mind:

How had Sera Masumi, who wasn't wearing glasses or checking her phone, tracked him so accurately despite his disguise?

The answer was simple—someone must have been feeding her his location.

Since Sera Masumi hadn't done anything to check his position herself, there had to be another person observing and relaying information to her through a small earpiece.

The identity of the informant wasn't hard to guess.

Kuroba Kaito turned his gaze toward the onlookers.

Immediately, he spotted a certain elementary school student hiding among the crowd, dressed in a suit and red bow tie.

At that moment, the boy was staring directly at him.

One of Conan Edogawa's hands rested on the temple of his glasses, clearly operating his smart glasses to locate Kuroba Kaito.

"Miss Sera, he saw me," Conan reported after locking eyes with Kuroba Kaito.

"I know," Sera Masumi replied calmly, quickening her movements after receiving the update.

Realizing he could no longer fool Sera Masumi and Conan with the same tricks, Kuroba Kaito decided to drop the act entirely.

Kuroba Kaito raised his hand and fired his grappling gun toward the ceiling.

Just as Sera Masumi's fist was about to land on him again, he soared into the air.

As he ascended, his pristine white suit, flowing cape, top hat, and signature monocle were fully revealed to everyone.

Although the crowd had already suspected that the person Sera Masumi was chasing was Kaitou Kid, seeing him abandon his disguise and return to his iconic appearance sent a wave of excitement through the audience.

"Kaitou Kid!"

"Lord Kid! He's so cool!"

"Wow, it's Kaitou Kid! This is the first time I've seen him up close!"

Cheers erupted from the tourists.

Sera Masumi stared at Kuroba Kaito, who was now suspended in the air, clutching the grappling gun with one hand.

She shouted up at him:

"Kaitou Kid, this time you've lost!"

"The moment you stole the Moonlight necklace but still showed up in the Scarlet Heart collection room, your defeat was sealed!"

"Moonlight was nothing more than a decoy to distract the police and tourists. The Scarlet Shadow Heart is your true target!"

"As long as I'm here, you won't even have a chance to lay a finger on the Scarlet Shadow Heart from the collection room!"

Kaitou Kid silently listened to Sera Masumi's declaration.

Finally, a smile appeared on his previously expressionless face.

"Oh really? I don't think so."
