Fraxure executed a graceful backflip, regaining his balance and stance with astonishing grace.

The force of the kick caused Fraxure to step back slightly as his eyes locked on Hitmonlee.
What Hitmonlee executed before was a series of moves known as 'Double Kick' toward Fraxure. Realizing that Fraxure had successfully defended against it, he seamlessly transitioned into a 'Low Sweep' in an attempt to catch Fraxure off guard, followed by a second shot of Double Kick.
Breathing heavily from the exertion, Hitmonlee looked at Fraxure with a mix of astonishment. Despite his best efforts and a series of complex maneuvers, Fraxure stood unyielding and composed.
Floyd, observing the battle, felt a sense of déjà vu. The dynamics of this fight mirrored his previous sparring sessions with Linh.
As Hitmonlee prepared for another round of Double Kick, anchoring his leg firmly to the ground, Fraxure countered with a powerful Breaking Swipe.

"Hitmonlee!" Linh, watching anxiously, called out to Hitmonlee. She had anticipated a challenging fight, but the swift and overwhelming defeat of Hitmonlee by a single move from Fraxure was beyond her expectations.
The onlookers, including Hu Tianyi, watched in stunned silence. Hu Tianyi clenched his fists tightly, his lips bleeding from the tension of biting down hard.
Witnessing the battle between Floyd and Linh, he realized the vast gap in strength that existed between them and himself – a gap that seemed to have grown even wider than he had imagined.
Hu Tianyi, after witnessing a portion of the battle, decided to step back and return to his duties. He realized that lingering there would not be a productive use of his time.

This nonchalant attitude from Fraxure seemed to irk Hitmonlee, who snorted in response and began to gather his focus, using 'Focus Energy' to prepare for his next move.
Fraxure watched calmly, not interrupting Hitmonlee's preparation, waiting patiently for his next move.
"Hitmon-" Hitmonlee, seizing the moment, charged toward Fraxure. Midway through his charge, he cleverly altered his trajectory, adopting a runner's lunge and winding up his body to execute a powerful 'Jump Kick'.
"BANG!"
Reacting swiftly, Fraxure deployed 'Protect' to defend himself from Hitmonlee's attack. Unfazed, Hitmonlee then maneuvered behind Fraxure, using his arms to deliver a 'Brick Break' to Fraxure's head.
"Frax-" Fraxure grunted in slight discomfort but remained poised to respond. He swung his tail towards Hitmonlee, and as Hitmonlee prepared another series of moves, Fraxure's 'Dragon Tail' struck him squarely in the chest.
"Lee!" Hitmonlee cried out in pain, feeling the full force of Fraxure's attack.
Fraxure, sensing that the playtime was over, decided it was time to bring the battle to a close. He nodded to himself, then swiftly closed the distance between him and Hitmonlee, launching a 'Breaking Swipe'.
Bang!
Hitmonlee, overwhelmed by the power of the attack, lost consciousness.
The onlookers, who had been closely following the battle, were left speechless. Only three moves from Fraxure were enough to defeat the newly evolved Hitmonlee.
Floyd, observing the conclusion of the match, turned to Linh. "Sister Linh, it might be best to have Chansey tend to Hitmonlee now," he suggested, noting the unconscious state of her Pokémon.
"I understand," Linh replied, her voice tinged with disappointment despite expecting this outcome. She, along with her other Pokémon, carefully carried the unconscious Hitmonlee away for treatment.
Among the onlookers, Park Taeyang felt a sense of frustration building up. He had always thought he was close to matching Floyd in strength, confident in his Pokémon: Growlithe, two Metapods, Rattata, and Meowth. However, witnessing the battle's outcome, he couldn't help but feel a growing gap between their abilities. Even with all his Pokémon combined, the likelihood of defeating Floyd's Fraxure seemed dauntingly low.
The recent battle had left a profound impact on the other trainers who had been previously content with their new Pokémon.
They stood there, reflecting on the fight, a sense of realization dawning on them. 'We have much to do. Training our Pokémon and catching more must be our priority,' they collectively thought, their previous complacency replaced by a newfound determination to improve.

Floyd, contemplating the day's events, made his way back to the Beast's Sanctuary, his path leading him alongside a river that meandered into the Safe Zone's lake. As he strolled, he noticed the young Gyarados patrolling the water, who promptly approached upon recognizing Floyd and his Pokémon.
"Gyarados, are you there," Floyd shouted.
"ROAR!" (Are you looking for my father?) the young Gyarados called out.
Floyd, curious, inquired, "Where is he? Is he at the bottom of this river?"
The young Gyarados responded with a resounding "ROAR!" (He wouldn't come out if he knew it was you.)
Floyd let out a feigned sigh. "What a pity. I was planning a celebration for my Pokémon, and you all contributed significantly. But if he won't join, then so be it," he said, turning to address his own Pokémon. "Everyone, let's get ready for a big celebration. You all did exceptionally well yesterday, and you deserve a reward."
His Pokémon's eyes sparkled with excitement, especially Horsea, who began performing her dragon dance with added zeal. They all pitched in to help with the preparations, while Floyd busied himself with making pokeblocks.

From the river, Floyd heard the distinct sound of bubbles - a telltale sign of the elder Gyarados eavesdropping. He couldn't help but smile slyly, pretending not to notice.
The young Gyarados moved closer to Floyd, stating through a roar, "If my father won't participate, then let me accept the reward on his behalf. He risked his life for all of you, it would be a shame to miss out."
Floyd glanced at the young Gyarados and nodded in agreement. "Okay, you were indeed a great help. You can have your share of the celebration," he conceded.

Hidden beneath the water's surface, the elder Gyarados was mentally chastising his son for his cunning. 'If only I had known it would turn out like this, I would've shown myself earlier,' the elder Gyarados thought regretfully. He realized that appearing now in front of Floyd, seemingly enticed by food, might appear petty and diminish his majestic image.
