Pokemon Earth’s Parallel World: Dragon Trainer

Chapter 91 – Blastoise vs Gyarados

Currently, Floyd was inside the laboratory giving some suggestions on the possibility of Pokemon's ability, and what they were observing was the Squirtle line, to Wartortle and Blastoise.

But suddenly, Floyd felt a chill from his spine, he began to sneeze, "What happened? Is someone talking about me?"

"Whatever," Floyd ignored it and then focused his attention on his front, but then he heard a loud roar coming outside.

"What happened?" Floyd, Kanraku, and others were shaken as they stood up when they heard it.

"It's coming from the seashore, there must be an accident, let's go," Kanraku hurriedly rushed towards it because that place is where many villagers reside.

Kanraku's disciple and Floyd also followed.

When they went out, he saw Horsea and everyone awaken even Jonathan and Ivan.

Horsea suddenly jumped out on him and said something.

"What, you mean that's your father?" Floyd was surprised and then asked.

"Horsea~" Horsea nodded her head.

"Floyd, what happened?" Jonathan asked.

"There must be an accident, there's no time for dawdling, I will go," Floyd with his pokemon rushed hurriedly.

"Wait, I will go too, Growlithe, hurry up, let's go," Jonathan said.

"Awrrr," Growlithe nodded.

Ivan and Spinarak also followed them.

Near the Village, many villagers were in a state of alarm and they immediately hid in their houses. Many patrols became trembled as they waited for Kanraku.

In a situation like this, only Kanraku was their hope to defend a terrifying pokemon.

Peering through his binoculars, the patrolman's hands shake as he observes the menacing Gyarados appear at the top of the village. The colossal, serpentine Pokémon stretches to 24 feet in length, its deep blue scales shimmering ominously under the dim light, while jagged cream-colored fins flare with every roar. Its massive head houses a wide, gaping mouth filled with sharp teeth, and its piercing red eyes glow with malevolent intensity, adding to its ferocious demeanor.

ROAR!

Gyarados used his Hyper Beam to the villages.

"This beast is doing something dangerous!" patrolman 1 said in panic.

"We can't do anything about it," patrolman 2 were desperate as he held his head in fear.

"Where is Kanraku?" The Village Head asked.

"We don't know, he must be on that base," The patrolman 1 said.

"Go to him," The Village head said.

"But there's a lot of beasts there," The patrolman 1 said fearfully.

"In the situation right now, what's more important, your fear or destruction of our villages!" The village head shouted.

But as they wrangled up, it was too late for them because Gyarados released Hyper Beam.

"No!"

"Kanraku-san!"

Then there's a spinning shell that hurriedly spins and takes the Hyper Beam.

It's Kanraku's Blastoise, and it used the shell behind his back to activate Protect Move.

"It's the Lord Blue!" Patrolman 2 celebrated, he knew Kanraku had appeared.

"Blastoise!" (It's you! No, you must be his father)

Blastoise recognized the Gyarados appearance, but he felt the demeanor of the guy in front of him was stronger and the size was a bit bigger. So he concluded that this guy must be the young Gyarados father that the latter always mentioned.

Blastoise looked at Gyarados with fighting intent. He rarely fought an opponent that similar to him, the last time he remembered was a strong Fearow that he defeated more than half a year ago. So, he was lonely.

And now, he felt even more stronger, especially when he woke up from the almost-dead state more than a week ago.

"ROAR" (Is it you who dare to call me serpent?), Gyarados said

"Blastoise," (What the hell are you talking about?), Blastoise was confused.

"ROAR" (Enough pretending, my son already said it. Since you're courting death I will give you one)

With a deep roar, Gyarados reared back, summoning the power of the oceans as it prepared to unleash his Hydro Pump. Simultaneously, Blastoise, steady and determined, tucked into its formidable shell, channels his own Hydro Pump.

In an explosive moment, both Pokémon unleashed their Hydro Pumps, with powerful jets of water surging forward with tremendous force. The two streams collided mid-air, creating a spectacular display of water and energy, with the air sizzling with intensity. The mighty attacks held in a tense deadlock for a few heart-stopping seconds, with neither Pokémon yielding.

However, Blastoise's determination shone through. With a mighty bellow, it pushed harder, its Hydro Pump intensifying. The water jet grew stronger and more forceful, gradually overpowering Gyarados's attack.

Bang!

Gyarados flew back a few meters, disbelief evident on his face as he realized he had lost the battle.

ROAR!

Unwilling to accept defeat, he rushed towards Blastoise, using his Aqua Tail, while Blastoise started to spin around in his shell, using Rapid Spin.

Bang!

Blastoise was smashed to the ground.

Feeling confident, Gyarados rushed again towards Blastoise, this time using Thrash. Blastoise, however, stood up from the ground and jumped towards Gyarados, countering with Skull Bash!

Bang!

They collided again, Gyarados's tail was deflected, and Blastoise landed a hit, causing Gyarados to take significant damage from the Skull Bash.

Gyarados roared again, changing the trajectory of his tail and moving it upward before smashing it towards Blastoise.

Bang!

Blastoise was hit and got smashed to the ground.

But Gyarados was not finished yet; he used his last Thrash move towards Blastoise.

Bang!

Blastoise felt pain from that attack.

Then, Gyarados, still not finished, used Crunch towards him. But with exact timing, Blastoise used his Protect move. Although he managed to defend against the attack, his feet struggled as he put a lot of pressure on Gyarados's Attack.

But this time, a strong surge of water came out from Blastoise's body. He controlled his Torrent Ability.

Torrent Ability Activated.

Feeling a lot of pressure, Gyarados stepped back and summoned a torrential downpour with Rain Dance, hoping to amplify his Hydro Pump. However, he failed to consider that Blastoise, also being a water type, would benefit from the rain.

As they unleashed their Hydro Pumps, the powerful jets collided with incredible force. But Blastoise's unwavering determination and strength prevailed. Gyarados's plan backfired as his Hydro Pump was overpowered, and he was left drenched and smashed by the water. Meanwhile, Blastoise stood tall, panting but victorious once again.

ROAR!

Gyarados emerged from the water, looking seriously at Blastoise, his demeanor now dignified as he acknowledged Blastoise's strength. Both Pokémon were panting heavily. Left with no other option, Gyarados started spinning in the air, using Dragon Dance.

Seeing this, Blastoise frowned. He knew what Gyarados was planning to do, and so he smashed his shell as he used his Shell Smash Move.

After three seconds, Gyarados completed his Dragon Dance. Feeling confident in his newfound strength, he rushed towards Blastoise, attempting to use Crunch.

But Blastoise was ready and responded first with a Hydro Pump.

With the buffs from Rapid Spin, Rain Dance, Torrent, and Shell Smash, Blastoise was at his peak.

Gyarados was once again smashed by the water, but he was unwilling to give up. He rose up from the sky, starting to spin, planning to use Dragon Dance for the second time. But Blastoise would not let him.

Blastoise used his Hydro Pump towards him.

Bang!

Gyarados was smashed again by the water. For him, this had to be the most shameful experience of his life, especially since his son was watching from just a few meters away.

And indeed, the young Gyarados saw the scene from a few meters away. He was in disbelief seeing his father lose. He looked at the big blue turtle—Blastoise—and remembered how he had been suffered more than a week ago. His body shivered at the memory.

This blue turtle was terrifying.

Then he heard his father shout, "What the hell are you looking at? Come out and help me!"
