Pokémon Kyanite and Copper (Revised Version)

Rico's POV

 Today was very happy. Me, Jonathan, and my friends had won the awards. Although, the festival will have a few weeks of fun after this. Well, everything went well for me, and also, I also wondered where I would go after this…

 Later at lunchtime, we had a delicious lunch at Paulita and Aquila's house. The meal is like a feast. We ate, drank, laughed, and chatted with the happiness of good times. Later after that, we, except for Aquila, Paulita, Adrian, and Mr. Fukui, went back to our hotel room to rest up. There I received a phone call from my parents, who wanted to see and talk to Jonathan. I knew this will happen, so I decided to let it happen. So, I handed the phone to Jonathan, telling him about it. Jonathan was nervous but took it anyway, talking to my parents after years of disappearance. What follows is a series of chat dialogues between my shocked parents and Jonathan trying to explain to them the reason of his 6 years of disappearance.

My mind then said, "Yeah…big brother had to do a lot more explanation than this…"

 Later after that, Jonathan handed my phone back while saying, "It's now okay. Mum and dad wanted us to come home anytime soon."

 "Oh," replied I, "are they upset about your disappearance?"

 "Well, sort of. But both of them were happy to hear my voice."

I was stunned. "Is that so?"

Jonathan then nodded. "Yes, it's now fine."

To that, I sighed in relief.

 "By the way…" Jonathan said, "…since you had your next badge, and we finished our part in the Book Festival. Let's go to the capital for a while."

Third person POV

 Rico was surprised. "What?" Jonathan then nodded. "Yes, let's explore for a while. You need a little more break from gym battles." Rico thinks for a bit, before eventually agreeing to it. "Okay then." Jonathan then smiled. "Great! By afternoon, we will check out and leave for the capital by plane."

 And so, later at 4:02 p.m., Rico and Jonathan packed up, and they and their Pokémon teams checked out of the hotel and went to Galen City's small airport by taxi. Along the way, Rico informed Adrian about this, and Adrian understood it, replying that he and his father will stay in the city for a few more days. All of them arrived at the small airport and got off while Jonathan paid for the fare. After that, all of them entered the airport terminal and bought two one-way tickets to Kamias City, which cost 100 Poké Dollars. After that, all of them went to the waiting area to sit down, wait for the boarding time, and call for their flight. Their flight was scheduled for 4:50 p.m. Rico passed the time by writing stuff in his journal while his Pokémon team was playing on the floor nearby. Jonathan was browsing his Pokédex to pass the time, too.

 Then, 4:40 p.m. came, and the boarding time for Rico and Jonathan's flight finally came in, prompting them, their Pokémon teams, and the other passengers to grab their belongings and line up at one of the terminal's boarding gates. After some time, all of them boarded their designated plane, which is a small, narrow-body, and turbofan-driven plane. Then, Rico and his group found their seats and settled there. Rico and Jonathan stowed their bags into the overhead bins, while their Pokémon settled on their seats. Thankfully, only Rico's Riolu and Starly and Jonathan's Boldore were outside of their Poké Balls; the rest are inside of theirs. And then finally, after some procedures of going to the runway, the plane finally took off, heading northwest northwest towards Kamias City.
