he wasn't stupid and neither is ghestis. although it's fatal and killed a lot of people, he's sure at least one of his parents are still alive. he hopes there both alive but he needs to be more realistic here.
His mother's team are more support based due to her doing competition back into the day. he's sure nearly all her pokemon know to protect and she apparently had her audino out when rescuing that chef and warning veronica. their body was not found, and there were bodies at the site so it shows that whatever happened it didn't have the power to distangrate body. so there's a highly likely chance there still alive somewhere.
However, he's sure there's something he's lacking. power. he needs it desperately so he has the strength to be ghestis and earn more clues on his parent's location.
all his pokemon except honedge are around lv 20. he needs to get kirlia evolved as soon as possible and get new powerful team members
His pokemon types when fully evolves will be
Ghost, Steel, Psychic, Fighting, Bug, Fire
He's thinking of a flying type and a water type to get.
Although he doesn't know what to get for flying type pokemon, he knows what to get for water type. milotic. in this world, it's a water/fairy type it strong and bulky and it evolves from a common "useless fish"
Prism scales aren't too hard to find since there's an abundance in driftviel city due to the influx of alolomola and luvdisc holding them in the ocean.
Also, he's not picky when overlapping types. after all, just because he has one ghost type doesn't mean he won't create another for his team. soul bending has too much potential to put to waste
"Mr Hisoka you have a visitor" A guard came in
"Who?"
"Elite four member Shauntal."
"Please bring her in."
An intelligent-looking woman with purple hair and glasses came in. she had a purple dress and orange shoes. she had a book and a pen in her hands
"Avan Hisoka I presume?"
"Yes?"
"I'm Shauntal of the elite four and I'm here to talk about your special ability," she said as she scribbled into her book
"Well it would be nice if I learnt what it even is first," Avan said with a reply
"It seems like your blood turns Ghost-type pokemon into ravages *scribble* and makes them stronger *scribble* "
"Your family are very intertwined with ghost types right?"
"Yes"

She finally closed the book and said
"We will do a practice with your blood to see if it has any more side effects and if it works on other types of pokemon."
she hands me a small needle and sends out a driftloon
"Can you please prick yourself and pour 25 ml of blood out into this cup?"
"O-Ok"
Avan was shocked. is this how they normally treat a 7-year-old?
after doing what was told, avan handed a cup to Shauntal
"Here you go"
"Thank you," She said "Drifloon," she said holding a cup of blood out to it and it came and absorbed it
She immediately got her notebook and started scribbling again
the drifloon started shaking as its eyes grew red but slowly died down, then its purple body slowly became gold-coloured as its bandage became blue but its feet stayed yellow.
"Test results are b+ subject became 90% shiny as its feet like appendix did not become shiny recommended dosage next time is 30 ml" Shauntal muttered slightly as she scribbled
While looking me down, she stared into my shadow
"Test subject has a ghost type pokemon in his shadow, further research on that pokemon may be required to consider the threat of the test subject."
Hearing this Avans confused expression became a frown
"You will not Experiment on my pokemon," Avan said with anger
"Side note: subject responds to the idea of his pokemon being experimented on with anger, idea terminated" Shauntal scribbled and muttered at the same time
