"Come out, Ariados."

Jack casually threw the Poké Ball in his hand, and Ariados appeared in front of him.

Looking at the Poké Ball that bounced back into his hand, Jack felt a little puzzled and curious. He had thought about this question when he was watching anime in his previous life. Just like having eyes, it always returns to the Trainer's hand.

What could be the reason? Hmm! It is probably some kind of metaphysics. Fortunately, the Poké Ball has this function; otherwise, every time you threw a Poké Ball handsomely and then had to pick it up again, it would really ruin a Trainer's style.

The Ariados emerging from the Poké Ball had obviously regained some strength, thanks to the basic healing system developed by the Pokémon Alliance. Although the effect is slow, it is invaluable for Trainers often far from cities.

After coming out, Ariados walked over to Jack, rubbing its head against him affectionately. Jack laughed and gently stroked Ariados' head. "Ariados, I'll be counting on you from now on."

"Ariados!" Hearing Jack's words, Ariados responded happily.

Though Ariados had regained some strength inside the Poké Ball, its body still bore numerous injuries from the intense battle.

Jack retrieved some basic healing potions from his space backpack, which he had purchased before setting out. He walked over to Ariados and began carefully applying them to its wounds.

"So, what do you want to do about them, Ariados?"

While treating the wounds, Jack glanced at the others nearby—another Ariados and a Spinarak.

To be honest, the other Ariados wasn't bad in terms of potential. A Pokémon with a 3-star qualification had market value, and at level 26, it wouldn't take much training to break through to a professional level.

Even if Jack didn't train it himself, capturing and selling the Ariados could bring in a nice profit. However, knowing the bond between this Ariados and his own, Jack decided to leave the choice to his Pokémon.

Ariados turned its gaze to Spinarak, who had regained consciousness but was pinned to the ground by Psyduck's Confusion. It then looked at the other Ariados, weakened and drenched from Psyduck's Water Gun.

Without waiting for Jack to finish applying medicine, Ariados stood and walked over to the others.

As it approached, Spinarak's eyes showed a hint of pleading, while the other Ariados's eyes reflected fear.

Ariados suddenly raised one of its legs and stepped firmly onto the other Ariados. A faint green glow began to emit from Jack's Ariados.

Jack's curiosity piqued, and he focused his attention on Ariados.

Race: Ariados

Type: Bug, Poison

Gender: Male

Level: 23

Qualification: ★★★★

Item: None

Ability: Insomnia (Prevents sleep status)

Moves: String Shot, Poison Sting, Fury Swipes, Scary Face, Absorb

Egg Moves: None

After evolving into Ariados, it was surprising to see it had learned Absorb, a Grass-type move that siphons energy and vitality from its opponent.

As Ariados continued using Absorb, the other Ariados went from struggling fiercely to lying completely motionless. Meanwhile, Jack's Ariados began to recover at an astonishing rate; its injuries healed noticeably before his eyes.

The defeated Ariados lay lifeless on the ground, and Spinarak, witnessing this, began trembling violently. Despite its desperate attempts to struggle free, Psyduck's Confusion held it firmly in place.

Ariados cast an icy gaze toward Spinarak, then turned to Psyduck and let out a commanding cry.

Psyduck paused, understanding the directive, and released Spinarak from its Confusion.

As soon as the pressure lifted, Spinarak prepared to bolt, but just as it was about to move, Ariados loomed over it with a menacing Scary Face. Spinarak froze in terror.

Ariados approached slowly, raised its sharp foreleg, and delivered a crushing blow to Spinarak's head. The tiny Pokémon joined its companion in defeat.

With its task complete, Ariados returned to Jack's side, but its mood was visibly low.

Jack sighed as he looked at it. "Ariados, why don't you return to the Poké Ball to rest?"

Ariados shook its head, raised a foreleg, pointed in a specific direction, and chirped twice.

"You want me to follow you?" Jack asked, surprised.

Ariados nodded and began walking. Jack and Psyduck followed closely as it led them through the forest. After a journey of more than 100 meters, they arrived at a massive tree with a thick trunk.

Ariados darted up the tree with remarkable agility. Jack studied the tree and guessed it might have been Ariados' home in the forest.

After a short while, Ariados descended, clutching a green, leaf-shaped stone in its mouth. It walked over to Jack and placed the stone in his hands.

Jack stared at the stone, his breathing suddenly quickening. His excitement was almost uncontainable—like that of a treasure hunter discovering a chest of gold.

In his vision, information about the stone appeared:

Type: Evolution Stone

Name: Leaf Stone

Attribute: Grass

Description: A magical stone that enables certain Grass-type Pokémon to evolve. It bears a distinctive leaf-like pattern.

Jack's special ability allowed him not only to sense the levels and potential of Pokémon but also to identify rare Pokémon-related items. This treasure, an evolution stone, was no exception.

As he gazed at the Leaf Stone, a single, overwhelming thought consumed his mind:

"I am going to be rich!"
