Pokemon The Mirage Of Illusions

'.....I think I'm afraid now..'

Whitney leads both Amelia and me through the center double door and into a huge area with a flat grassfield as the battle field. While Milktank drags the bodies of Gold and Pibu onto the sideline bleachers behind a large pink wall.

Whitney turns around after reaching the edge of the arena. "I assume your a good trainer if Gold hangs out with you? Would you like to take the Elte Challenge?"

Amelia turns to me and I can see the confusion on her face, before turning back to Whitney. "I'm kinda new to the Gym Challenge and this is the first Gym I've challenged, what's the elite Challenge? Do I have to do it?"

"Oh! The Elte Challenge is completely optional! It's a challenge Gym Leader's can give trainers who are ahead of the normal level. It's really just a fun thing to keep Gym Leaders entertained when stronger trainers challenge the Gym. But don't tell anyone I said that! I got yelled at cause I got recorded saying it and it was a whole big deal...But Gym Leader's get to use stronger Pokemon and if you still beat us you get a special badge! It counts as two badges instead of one if your trying to go to the Indigo League!"

'That's interesting! A stronger challenge but it essientally allows for you to skip half the badges in the league...I don't really have a say in if we do it right now but when I finally get to become human again that could be a good challenge!'

Amelia looks strangely deep in thought before she looks towards me. "Do you think we should do it?"

'....I'm flattered that you ask me all the time, but please make a decision for yourself every once in a while...' I nod towards Amelia and she turns back to Whitney with a excited look on her face. 'I'm kinda excited to see who I'll fight!.....I think I should stop getting trained by Houndoom.' 

As I look around both Gold and Pibu finally get up and make they're way out from the bleachers they were laid on. 'Oh. They seem fine.'

"So you'll do it!? That's great! Can you do a 3v3!?" Whitney excitedly talks as Amelia responds in kind. "I can do a 3v3! Are you gonna use that Miltank!?" "Of course!"

I move to the left side of the arena in preparation of the battle that's clearly about to take place.

'I can already tell. Whitney is about to become a certified best friend.....fuuuuuuu-'

"Are you ready!?"

"Of course! Who's sending out first!?"

"Let's go on 3! 2! 1!"

"Go Girafarig!"

"Go Jarl!"

[Battle Start! (Third Person)]

Both Pokemon are sent out at the same time and both make quite the big impact on the ground and start eying each other up. "Girafarig use Calm Mind and Twin Beam!"

"Jarl stop them using Icy Wind!"

The Girafarig completes their move quickly and its second head fires a beam of psychic type energy that is intercepted by the completed Icy wind Jarl used while moving forward.

"Jarl get close and use Stomping Tantrum!"

While Jarl moves forward Whitney gives no order toward the Girafarig and in response the Girafirig does nothing instead focusing on completing a second Calm Mind to the unaware Amelia.

Due to the flat and easily maneuverable battlefield Jarl reaches the Girafarig in only 4 seconds and uses the move Stomping Tantrum that rocks the ground and sends Girafarig into the air and away due to its raw power.

Girafarig---[////////////// ] (In case it isn't clear this is HP remaining. It isn't visible to any character it's something just for ya'll to see.)

While the Girafarig is knocked back the second Calm Mind is completed and the second tail head once again fires another Twin Beam. "Jarl block with a Protect and continue putting on the pressure!"

In response a blueish shield is created in the front of Jarl's face blocking the psychic energy dispersing the energy onto the ground compressing the grass and soft dirt.

"Girafarig! Use Pyschic and then use Stored Power!" Amelia's eyes widen in surprise before they refocus and she yells out a command of her own. "Jarl use Ice Shard! Break it's concentration!"

Whitney speaks they're second command of the battle and Girafarig moves with renewed vigor and dashes back from Jarl and snakes psychic type energy around Jarl's large body in an attempt to forcefully move the Mamoswine. While Jarl quickly charges and fires a large shard of ice at the Girafarig that to Jarl and Amelia's surprise is grabbed and redirected in mid air back into the face of Mamoswine.

The ice impacts Jarl's face and they close they're eyes in response. While the Psychic completely takes hold and lifts the Mamoswine off the ground and slams it back into the ground.

Mamoswine---[////////////  ]

"Get up and use Ice Fang! It's still in range!"

Whitney once again doesn't give an order as Girafarig continues and channels more psychic energy through its body giving it a pink glow. The distance between Girafarig and Jarl increased as Pyschic carried the Mamoswine through the air and the psychic resistance still lingering on the large Pokemon has it moving slower than normal allowing for the Girafarig to complete its move. As the pink glow of Girafarig grows larger and expands blinding both the Pokemon and trainers for a second before the light dissipates.

Mamoswine---[ K/O ]

The light dissipates and in a rather large area of Girafarig the grass and ground is compressed down and near the edge of that area lies Jarl with nearly no outer damage assessable. The only indication of it's knocked out status being the swirls in their eyes.
