Rabbit Goddess: REVAMPED

Kisuke was taken by surprise when five exact replicas of Kaguya appeared around her. The replicas did not have any Reiryoku, which meant no Reiatsu, but they were not illusions. They were solid replicas… Kisuke inclined his hat as he started to wonder what kind of technique it was and if he could learn it.

“Hey! Hats and Clogs?” Ichigo called him, making him turn his head to look at the human he was banking all of his hopes on. “What is she? A Hollow?” Ichigo asked, curiously, but Kisuke didn’t miss the wariness in his eyes. Good… He should be pretty wary of her.

“No, I don’t think so…” Kisuke shook his head. “Why don’t you go and have a chat with her? She looks pretty find doesn’t she?” Kisuke asked, trying to hide his real thoughts as he ribbed the kid in his chest. As expected, the kid blushed brightly and started to sputter.

He wanted Ichigo to keep his distance from her, but he outright told him that then the kid might end up confronting her. The kid was dumb and righteous, quite a bad combination, but that was exactly why he thought Ichigo would be perfect for the job… Teasing the kid was going to prevent the kid from approaching the woman.

Then all of a sudden, the woman and her replicas mumbled something and a huge chunk of his training ground was covered in smoke. When the smoke cleared, the ground was filled with thousands of her exact replicas…

‘What the hell?’ Kisuke mumbled inside his mind as he started to become even more interested in her. He had no idea what she was planning to do, but he was starting to become pretty interested. Was she using some kind of technique or was it a technique exclusive to her race?

He desperately wanted to go there and ask for some answers… The scientist inside him was screaming at the top of his lungs, but Kisuke knew very well that now was not the right time…The replicas started to divide themselves among groups and started to spread out. Was she planning to use the replicas to learn faster?

“Do you know what the hell she is doing?” He heard Ichigo ask him.

“No idea, but shouldn’t you be paying more attention to your training? Or you can’t resist her beauty?” Kisuke asked again, trying to tease him and once again, the kid’s face turned completely red before he returned to training while sputtering in protest. Sometimes, kids were just so easy.

‘Maybe, I do need to have a chat with her’ Kisuke mused as he decided to approach her later to ask some questions. Then he opened his fan to hide the look on his face…

~~Half a Day Later~~

Kaguya knew she was making progress, but at the same time, she was starting to feel frustrated too. Her Clones lacked a Soul, which meant her Clones did not possess any Reiryoku, which made it impossible for them to manifest any Reiatsu. Her Clones turned out to be completely useless in this regard, at least not completely.

While her Clones did not possess any Reiatsu they could help her understand the theoretical knowledge, which could help her learn much faster than she could have learned everything on her own, but still it would have been a lot faster if her Clones possessed Reiastu.

“What do you want?” Kaguya asked as she noticed Kisuke Urahara approaching. He raised both of his hands in surrender.

“I was hoping to invite you to dinner” Kisuke answered. While Kaguya loved eating new delicacies, it did not mean that she needed to eat to keep her body running.

“Thank you, but I would have to refuse” Kaguya decided to refuse, but at the same time, she decided to use a polite refusal. After all, he was only inviting her to join them for dinner, there was no need to be rude to him. “I only need to consume food once a month” It was a lie, but he did not need to know that.

“Oh” Kisuke mumbled while waving the fan in front of him.

“By the way, how did you make so many replicas of yourself?” Kisuke asked and Kaguya grinned internally. He was finally bringing up the topic he was here for.

“It is called Shadow Clone Technique” Kaguya answered. She could have refused to answer, but she had her suspicions that if she did that then he would keep badgering her.

“Oh” Kisuke clapped his hands, looking excited. “Is it possible for the others to learn this technique?” Kiuske asked, looking really interested.

“Do you have Chakra?” Kaguya asked in retort.

“Chakra?” Kisuke asked as he started to work his brain to see what he remembered about the term. If he remembered correctly, Chakra was supposedly a mystical form of energy, but the reason he said supposedly mystical was because if Kaguya was to be believed, she was claiming that she possessed Chakra.

Kisuke was not sure if he believed her, at least completely, but now that he thought about it was possible that Kaguya was some sort of Yokai… He had never seen Yokai before, but that did not mean Yokai couldn’t exist. After all, if something like Shinigami and Hollows can exist in their world, then why not Yokai?

It was something he needed to think about at a later time… However, for the time being, he was going to let her be while keeping an eye on her from the distance…

“If you don’t then you can’t learn it” Kaguya said dismissively. “Is there anything else?” Kaguya asked as she turned her eyes to look at him.

“Mah! Mah! There is no need to act so serious like that all the time” Kisuke waved his fan while chuckling, trying to play it cool and dismiss the tension in their air. “Then I shall leave you to your training” Kisuke waved his hand in the air merrily as he started to walk away.

When he was finally gone, Kaguya raised her hand in the air and cast a simple Fuijutsu Seal to erect a silencing barrier around her. “I do not like him, mother. You should kill him” Zetsu hissed maliciously as he glared at Kisuke.

“There is no need to grow impatient, my son. If they become my enemy then they will die, it is as simple as that” Kaguya answered as she stroked her left sleeve.

“Mother, do you want me to spy on them?” Zetsu asked, but he didn’t dare to peek out of her sleeve.

“No, there is no need for that” Kaguya refused his offer. While tempting, she did not want to risk it. While Zetsu was not normally conceived, he still possessed a Soul, which meant he possessed Reiryoku too, but from what she had seen, Kisuke and the other hadn’t noticed him yet and she wanted to keep it that way.

Maybe, his Reiatsu had gone completely unnoticed thanks to her own overwhelming Reiatsu, but that wasn’t going to last for long. Zetsu was not only her son, but he was her hidden weapon. As soon as Kaguya learned how to manipulate her Reiatsu, she was planning to suppress her Reiatsu as much as she could.

However, that would mean Zetsu was going to be exposed and she couldn’t have that. Kaguya decided to keep his existence a secret for the time being and for that to happen, Zetsu also needed to learn how to control his Reiatsu.

“Zetsu, I want you to learn how to control your Reiatsu so that you can go around unnoticed. One of my Clones is already making copies of the books and as soon as she is done, you will take the books and enter my Kamui dimension. If you want to help me, then you must learn how to control your Reiatsu within the next seven days” Kaguya explained slowly as she continued to pat her left sleeve.

“Of course, mother. I will never disappoint you” Zetsu immediately declared without wasting any time. His mother was giving him a chance to become stronger so that he could be more useful to her. What else could he ask for? That was his biggest wish! Zetsu started to tremble in excitement.

“I know, you won’t” Kaguya said with a caring smile on her face. Zetsu felt like crying when he realized just how much his mother trusted him…

Nearly half an hour later, one of her Clones finally returned with a copy of the books and she immediately used Obito’s eyes to send the books and Zetsu inside the Kamui dimension. Maybe, she could grab another Asachui for her son after arriving in Soul Society. She was sure that her son was going to love it…

However, for the time being, she needed to pay attention to her own progress after all, she only had seven days… no, six days considering the day was almost over…

“So, what do you think about our new guest?” Yoruichi asked while licking her paw. “Were you able to get any straight answer from her?” She asked after a moment when she noticed the contemplative look on her friend’s face. Even Tessai seemed to perk up at her question.

“Yes, I wasn’t expecting her the answer much, but she was quite open with them” Kisuke answered as Tessai poured him some tea. “The problem is, I was right… She is most definitely not a human. I think she might be a Yokai” Kisuke revealed with a frown on his face as he took a small sip from his cup.

“What?” Yourichi gave him a dumbfounded look at the revelation and Tessai was not being much different.

“Yes, I know how it sounds, but she said she uses Chakra. Yokais are the only creatures I know who could use Chakra” Kisuke explained when he saw their dumbfounded looks.

Yoruichi and Tessai exchanged a look. “You must have lost your freaking mind!!” Yoruichi screamed and Kisuke was glad that there were Kido seals placed around the room or the whole town would have heard Yoruichi. “Do you even hear what are you saying?” Yoruichi asked, but this time in a much lower tone.

“Yeah, I know how it sounds, goddamnit! However, that is the best I was able to come up with” Kisuke retorted slowly. “Regardless of what she is, now we know what kind of energy she uses and we need to be careful around her. From what I have seen, I do not think she is inherently malicious toward us, but let’s not drop our guard around her, yeah?” Kisuke asked as he glanced at his closest friends.

“…Are you still planning to send her with us?” Yoruichi asked while giving Kisuke unimpressed looks.

“Yes” Kisuke answered with a grave tone. “I want to know why she wants to travel to the Soul Society” Kisuke revealed. Even though they never talked about the Soul Society to Kaguya, she could have easily overheard them while training Ichigo. After all, Kaguya started to train harder after he revealed that he would be giving her a task in seven days.

Kisuke couldn’t be sure as there were a lot of ifs involved in between, but his gut was telling him that he was right…

Yoruichi opened her mouth to say something before closing it with a snap. “…You really think so?” Tessai asked while giving him a worried look.

“Yes” Kisuke nodded his head, looking confident.

“Then I would need to watch her along with the kids, right?” Yoruichi asked while frowning, but she was currently in her feline form so it was kind of hard for her to convey her real feelings to Kisuke and Tessai with just her feline expressions.

“Yes” Once again, Kisuke simply nodded his head before taking another sip from his cup. “However, all of that depends on her progress. If she can’t suppress her Reiatsu, then she won’t be going” Kisuke explained dismissively, returning to his usual self.

“In the meantime, I need to look for some contingencies, just in case our new guest decides to turn hostile against us” Kisuke inclined his hat and even though he was trying to act his usual self, neither Yoruichi nor Tessai missed the dangerous edge in his voice…
