Homes with white strips or clothes hung at the windows were safe, while homes with red strips or clothes indicated the presence of quarantined zombies. The military would rescue people once they had everything under control.

Hearing this announcement, everyone felt a glimmer of hope. In the apocalypse, the most impactful source of hope was the government and its military. One person stood up and loudly suggested, “Let’s go to the temporary base with the military now.”

Many people agreed with his suggestion.

A speed-type ability user quickly grabbed a red and white cloth and went out after observing the reaction of a middle-aged man.

The middle-aged man was the president of D University.

Everyone knew he had gone out to inquire about the situation, and they waited anxiously for the results.

Teacher Zhang also lost interest in chatting with Bai Qi. Firstly, although Bai Qi was his proud student, he hadn’t taught him many classes.
