No one said a word and treated Li Xueying as if she were invisible.

For the past few days, Li Xueying had been either seeking attention or causing trouble. Her princess-like behavior had reached its peak, and not only Su Ling, but even Gu Kai Xuan couldn't stand her anymore.

"Auntie, let me show you upstairs."

Li Xueying was furious and said, "Who am I is none of your business!"

Su Ling didn't bother to look back. She continued holding Gu Kai Xuan and said with a smile, "Baby, let's go."

They went upstairs and discovered that the eastern wall had collapsed.

Although the bathroom was usable, it was too close to the collapsed area, making it unsafe.

"The second floor is not very safe. Let's go downstairs."

Although Su Ling wanted to take a bath, safety seemed more important.

Gu Kai Xuan obediently nodded.

Just as they reached the staircase, they saw Li Xueying rushing upstairs like a madwoman.

As they pondered, they suddenly heard a rustling sound.

Su Ling immediately stepped back.

Liu Yu also stood up sensitively. "It's zombies."

He whispered.

Geng Hao nervously huddled against the back of the sofa.

"Mr. Sheng is not here. What should we do?"

As they spoke, a zombie had already arrived at the window and started tapping on it.

From inside the room, they could vaguely see the appearance of the zombie – an elderly woman in her fifties, with gray hair, bloodshot eyes, and blackish-purple nails on her hands. She constantly emitted beast-like roars.

Seeing her, Gu Kai Xuan became excited. "Grandma, she's my grandma."

"Ah!" Su Ling looked astonished at the old woman. She hadn't expected to see Gu Kai Xuan's grandmother in this state.

She quickly held him in her arms. "Kai Xuan, don't look."

Gu Kai Xuan held onto Su Ling tightly and couldn't help but cry.

"Auntie, why did my grandma turn into this? I want my grandma."

Su Ling didn't know how to explain and could only gently pat Gu Kai Xuan's back.

In a low voice, she said, "Stop crying; this is no longer your grandma."

"But my grandma has turned into a monster."

Gu Kai Xuan finished speaking and burst into tears.

This sound immediately attracted more zombies. In an instant, there were over twenty zombies gathered by the large glass window.

At the same time, Su Ling heard the system prompt in her ear again.

"Item defense decreased by 5%. Do you wish to continue reinforcing?"

Su Ling didn't respond but kept listening until the defense dropped to 5%. At that moment, she shouted in her mind to reinforce, but the glass suddenly shattered.

The zombies immediately roared and rushed into the room.

"Ah!"

Li Xueying let out a scream that sounded like a pig being slaughtered, instantly attracting all the zombies' attention.

Su Ling couldn't be bothered with her and immediately carried Gu Kai Xuan and ran towards the kitchen.

"Go to the kitchen first, quickly!"

When they came in, Su Ling had already seen that the kitchen was relatively intact, and the small space was easier to reinforce, with a higher success rate than a larger space.

Geng Hao no longer cared about the pain and rushed to the kitchen with his crutches. Liu Yu was quite loyal too; he grabbed a desk lamp and swung it randomly to hold off the zombies while Geng Hao entered.

In a moment, the four of them had entered the kitchen. Just as Su Ling was about to close the door, Li Xueying crazily squeezed in.

Su Ling was not inherently cruel and couldn't bring herself to abandon someone to die.

After closing the door, she coldly said to Li Xueying, "If you want to stay safe here, then shut your big mouth. Otherwise, I'll be the first to push you out."
