Chapter 0025: Magic Fairy, Transform!
Chapter 0025: Magic Fairy, Transform!
Wearing it in my own room should be fine, right?
I hesitated for a moment, picking up the frilly blue dress with lace trim and holding it up against myself. It seemed a bit large—the hem would probably reach just past my knees.
But if it’s just for this one time, it doesn’t matter if it fits or not. Yes! I’ll wear it just once, just to see if it actually works!
I kept telling myself that, glancing around the room as if I were hiding from someone.
The curtains were fully drawn, the door was tightly shut... I even pressed my ear to the wall, listening closely. Nothing unusual on the other side. Only then did I finally relax.
Quickly stripping off my outer clothes, I grabbed the dress and tried to slip it on.
However, what seemed like a simple task turned out to be way more difficult than I imagined. The inner layers of the skirt were complicated to separate, and it took me nearly ten minutes just to get everything in place.
Once the dress was on, next came the knee-high boots and the headband with the dark blue bow. After putting everything on, I stepped in front of the mirror—and immediately jumped at the sight of my reflection.
Even though the dress was a bit loose, the dark blue bow headband and my delicate face made me look like a princess straight out of a fairy tale—adorable and dainty.
Who would've thought I had this talent!
I was genuinely shocked. Sure, I’ve always been a bit vain, and I knew I wasn’t bad-looking, but I never imagined that cross-dressing would have this kind of effect!
I’ve always thought of myself as the boyish, cool type. Why... why do I suit this whole “pretty boy” look so well?
I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
While I was wallowing in self-pity, I didn’t notice that my door had been quietly cracked open from the outside.
Wearing girl’s clothes... this is definitely wrong! But this is just a one-time thing! Never again!
I cursed inwardly, feeling my embarrassment skyrocket. And then, in the reflection of the mirror, I suddenly noticed a cute, puffed-up face appearing behind me.
No way, is that really me? This is so embarrassing!
I quickly covered my face, then realized something important—despite wearing the entire outfit, nothing magical had happened yet.
Could it be...
My eyes darted toward the magic wand and box sitting on my bed.
Do I have to say the spell for it to work?
It seemed like that was the case. In the original anime, the magical transformations always happened through a spell.
But just wearing this outfit had already pushed my limits of shame. Now saying the spell on top of that... how could any normal person go through with this? And what if my sister heard me from downstairs?
Still, after a moment of hesitation, I gritted my teeth. I had come this far—it would be a waste to stop now! If I keep my voice down, she won’t hear me, right?
Resolving myself, I grabbed the magic wand in my right hand and the magic box in my left. Mimicking the pose from the anime, I raised the wand high above my head and softly chanted, “Balala energy... Hunira, Magic Fairy Transform!”
Thud.
There was a dull sound.
I glanced down—my body hadn’t changed in any magical way. The sound had come from outside the door. Confused, I turned my head, only to see my bedroom door had been opened halfway.
My beloved sister, Kurenai, was kneeling at the door, staring at me with a mix of shock, disbelief, and horror in her eyes.
Wha... Wha… Wha… What the...?!
My mind went completely blank as I stared back at her, wide-eyed.
“I-I didn’t see anything!” Kurenai suddenly shouted, bolting down the stairs in a panic.
“Wait...” I instinctively felt that if I didn’t explain this now, I’d never be able to explain it again. “Sis, wait! It’s not what you think!”
In a panic, I dashed after her, using my full speed. Within seconds, I caught up to her and grabbed her around the waist. “No, it’s not what you think! You have to believe me!”
“I... I know, Hiroto,” she replied, struggling to break free. She tried to calm her voice. “Everyone has their... own hobbies. There’s nothing wrong with yours.”
“I don’t have that kind of hobby! I’m not into cross-dressing, and I’m not a weirdo!” I shouted in defense.
“Mmm, I see,” she nodded, still sounding unconvinced. “Now, let me go.”
“You believe me?”
“Of course.”
“Then look me in the eyes and say... you believe I’m not a weirdo who likes cross-dressing.”
“Stop it, I really believe you.”
“Yeah, right! Your dodging eyes already gave you away!”
Her frustration boiled over as she grabbed my arm and snapped, “How do you expect me to believe you when you’re dressed like that?”
“T-There’s a reason for this!” I stammered, feeling completely defeated.
Kurenai let out a mocking laugh. “A reason? Oh, really? Well then, tell me what kind of reason would make you walk down this path?”
Just as I was about to answer, the system’s options rang in my head again.
