Chapter 0026: Illusion
Chapter 0026: Illusion
[New options generated!]
[Host, choose one of the following options:]
[-> Option one: “Wearing this lets you peek into the women’s bath without any worries.”]
[-> Option two: “Confess to your sister that you secretly love ‘Yuri’ and want to explore it more”]
[-> Option three: “Though you're a man, your dream is to become the world’s greatest songstress, spreading love and peace. I will do it naked and make everyone pregnant.”]
[Note: On failure, Hot Sauce will fall on your balls.]
There was absolutely no way that I was ignoring these options. Imagine your balls on fire… fuck, I don’t think even water will be of any help.
With the three options available, both the first and second choices seemed too dangerous—they could easily lead to a broken leg. The third option, however, involved my personal principles, so it was immediately dismissed.
That left me with choosing the least severe option. Compared to spying on the women’s bath, it seemed the hobby of liking Yuri would be more acceptable to my sister.
At this point, I didn’t even realize that I had subconsciously started to get used to revealing my peculiar side in front of Kurenai. This kind of gradual influence was frightening, and I hadn’t even noticed it myself.
Taking a deep breath, I looked up and met my sister's gaze. “Actually, I’m really into yuri. Wearing this outfit was my way of hoping to experience it firsthand with you someday.”
Oh god, this is so messed up!
Even I couldn’t handle saying such things. I quickly looked down in shame.
[Congratulations, host, for completing the mission.]
[You’ve received a full set of Konoha-style sword techniques] - the system's voice chimed in.
Across from me, Kurenai’s expression was priceless. Her cheeks flushed deep red, then purple, then black as she exclaimed, “Y-Yuri?! You... you’re hopeless! You’re completely hopeless!”
It was one thing to have a personal hobby like yuri, which Kurenai could overlook. But to dress up as a girl and plan to experience it firsthand? Was that something a normal person would do? No, even an average pervert wouldn’t come up with something like this!
“I-I’m sorry!” I looked up, tears welling in my eyes. “I didn’t mean to trouble you, I’m really sorry!”
Kurenai gasped in shock.
I hadn’t noticed the full extent of her reaction until now. Seeing me dressed like this, she realized I looked almost exactly like a real girl—especially with the tears in my eyes, which made her feel a deep sense of guilt.
What the heck is this?! Did I somehow end up in the wrong body?
Kurenai thought bitterly, struggling to suppress the urge to hug and comfort me. She managed to keep a neutral expression and asked, “Did that fox... I mean, Yui-senpai, give you this outfit?”
Fox? You mean, did Yui-senpai offend you somehow?
I decided it was best not to delve into that issue. “No, I saw it on the street and just bought it.”
“Is that so?” Kurenai replied, noncommittally. “Regardless of whether it was a gift or something you bought, you need to take it off immediately!”
“Take it off?” I was stunned, my face filled with bewilderment. How could I return something the system gave me?
“Is there a problem?” Kurenai’s gaze was sharp and cold.
“No, none at all.” I waved my hands quickly. “I’ll go change and then head out.”
As night fell and the streetlights flickered, I walked alone through the streets of Konoha, my youthful face marked by deep concern.
It wasn’t about dealing with the outfit anymore. In fact, I had already put it away in my ninja tool pouch before leaving. Even if I went back now, Kurenai wouldn’t find anything.
What troubled me was how to interact with my sister after she discovered me in women’s clothing and the things I said. How could I face her after all this?
I scratched my head in frustration, lost in my thoughts.
At that moment, a seductive voice suddenly whispered in my ear, “Are you troubled? Have you encountered an insurmountable problem?”
Huh?
I looked up in confusion but saw no one. Was I hearing things?
“Come with me, come with me... Yuhi Hiroto,” the voice continued, sounding like an angel’s whisper or a devil’s coaxing. It gently guided me, “I’ll help you find relief.”
Well obviously, one shouldn’t follow strangers. But I had confidence in myself, due to the abilities I had, and the system as well. Also… I knew what this was.
“Oh, okay.” Moments later, my previously vibrant eyes grew vacant. A vague shadow seemed to appear in my vision, and I began to walk toward it, following its guidance.
On the street, the three Sannin had just exited an Izakaya when Jiraiya spotted me. “Hey, isn’t that the future apprentice of Tsunade?”
“It is,” Orochimaru confirmed, nodding. “But he seems to be acting a bit strange.”
“This is an illusion! How did this kid fall for it so easily?” Tsunade frowned, annoyed.
“It doesn’t seem to be a regular illusion,” Orochimaru remarked, raising an eyebrow. “This looks like a specialized seal, allowing remote control. The person’s illusion skills are quite advanced.”
“Let’s check it out,” Jiraiya suggested. “Whoever is bold enough to use illusions on our people in the village deserves to be confronted.”
“Just a look,” Tsunade’s eyes flashed with worry but quickly masked it. “If this kid suffers because of his own carelessness, then he brought it on himself.”
Jiraiya grumbled, “You’re so harsh with your own apprentice.”
“Mind your own business, and stop talking!” Tsunade snapped.
