Chapter 22: 1-Side Stories
1 - [The Shedding part one]
One late night, Gaster was still awake, hunched over his desk, working meticulously with a glowing green Dust crystal in his hand.
[Gaster]: Can fire and water Dust be refined into this...?
He studied the crystal carefully, shaking it gently and observing its reaction. After a moment, he sighed and glanced at his empty coffee cup.
[Gaster]: Out of coffee again... Maybe I should take a nap. I can continue tomorrow.
As Gaster dragged himself toward his bed, he failed to notice the strange, subtle transformation around him. Unbeknownst to him, the papers on his desk had started to melt as they came into contact with the peculiar Dust. Even more alarming, the skin and flesh on his face and body were beginning to dissolve, yet Gaster felt nothing—completely unaware that the dust crystal was an Acidic one that he well discovered later, the Dust slowly dissolved his skin, revealing bone beneath it, yet he still felt nothing.
[Sometime later]
A piercing scream echoed through the dorm.
[Maple]: KYA!
Gaster jolted awake, his instincts taking over as he summoned his blasters and flying hands, ready to defend against the supposed threat.
[Gaster]: Where's the danger?
He scanned the room, only to find Maple standing in the corner, pointing directly at him, her face pale.
[Maple]: BLOODY SKELETON ATE GASTER!
Confused, Gaster followed her gaze and hurried to the nearest mirror. As he stared at his reflection, he froze.
[picture]
[Gaster]: Holy..., Oh that's me. Why do I look like this?
What stared back at him in the mirror was not the man he remembered but a figure stripped of flesh, his bones exposed. The acidic Dust had eaten away at his skin, leaving him with the appearance of a living skeleton.
[Gaster]: Well, I can't say I didn't miss this look. It's still the handsome skeleton.
He turned toward Maple, who was still cowering in the corner, tears streaming down her face. Gaster attempted to approach her, raising a bony hand in reassurance.
[Gaster]: Maple, it's me, Gaster! I'm still—
But before he could finish, the sound of splintering wood filled the room. The door burst open, revealing Team RWBY and JNPR, along with Ron and Adrian. They all stood frozen in shock, eyes darting from the pile of flesh on the bed to the bloody skeletal figure in the room.
[Ruby]: That thing ate Gaster!
[Yang]: How dare it!
[Blake]: This is... unbelievable.
[Weiss]: No... how can this be? Revenge!
The scene was almost too much to process. Poor Jaune collapsed, fainting instantly. Nora clung to Ren, sobbing dramatically. Pyrrha covered her mouth in horror, her eyes wide with disbelief. Ron, meanwhile, was visibly shaking—doing his best to stifle laughter but failing miserably.
As for Adrian, his demeanor changed completely. His eyes darkened, and a palpable wave of bloodlust emanated from him as he clenched his fists tightly.
[Adrian]: I won't let you take my family again
Adrian pulled out his sword and ran at Gaster who looked like a bloody skeleton
2-[A talk with White and Black part one]
One day, while Gaster was tidying up his lab, he came across a small, folded piece of paper on his desk. The message was simple, yet intriguing:
"Meet me in the library at noon."
Curiosity piqued, Gaster pocketed the note and decided to follow the instruction. Arriving at the library, he quietly opened the door. And was met with a boy Seated at a table, deep into a book.
The boy had striking white hair, neatly styled, and fox ears that twitched slightly as he read. A pair of thin glasses rested on his nose, and he wore a white and black coat that gave him a scholarly air.

[White]: Looks like you have arrived Gaster, I have been waiting for two hours and she was to
From the shadows stepped a woman, her presence almost ethereal. Her red, demonic eyes pierced through the dim light, and as Gaster looked into them, he saw something unsettling: the faint, tormented faces of countless souls, their arms outstretched as though clawing to escape some unseen prison, She wore a black suit and gloves and had a smile on her face.
The air around her grew colder, a strange oppressive aura filling the space as she silently moved closer.
[White]: Ah, Gaster, meet Black. She's... how shall I put this—our enforcer of sorts.
Gaster turned to White and asked.
[Gaster]: Why would you need an enforcer
[White]: Yes, we needed an enforcer because of Red. You saw what he did before, but this wasn't the first time. The last time he took control, he pushed Ron to the brink. He made Ron live in unimaginable pain, twisted his mind, and forced him to kill... even his only friends.
White's gaze dropped for a moment.
[White]: Ron shattered that day. Red broke him completely. He destroyed everything Ron cared about, and Ron was left with nothing but emptiness.
Gaster's eyes narrowed.
[Gaster]: Ron… broke?
[White]: Fifteen times in his life, Ron has broken. as if the weight of his words were almost too much to bear. The first fourteen times, he became a hollow shell. No emotions, no will—just a doll, numbing himself with drugs and alcohol. But that last time... it was different. Red didn't just shatter him—he obliterated him.
Gaster was silent for a moment, absorbing the enormity of the revelation. He knew Ron had a dark past, but this...
[Gaster]: And Black? What did she do?
White's gaze flicked toward Black, who stood silent, her eyes still locked on Gaster.
[White]: Black used everything she had to pull Ron back. She and Grey worked tirelessly, sealing away Ron's memories—especially the happy ones. We couldn't risk him remembering and breaking again. Ron was on the verge of being lost forever, and we had no choice but to act, She also teaches Red a good lesson.
Black finally spoke, her voice as cold and sharp as ice.
[Black]: It's not polite to talk about someone in front of them, you know.
Before Gaster or White could react, they felt a sudden force slam them against the wall, as if their bodies were glued in place. Gaster blinked in confusion.
[Gaster]: Huh?
[White]: First time? {sighed}, This is just your body's natural reaction to danger when Black's nearby.
Gaster struggled slightly but realized there was no point in resisting. He glanced at Black, who stood there with a serene yet dangerous smile, her crimson eyes never leaving him.
[Gaster]: So, Black... why exactly did you want to talk to me?
Black stepped forward, her smile widening just enough to be unsettling.
[Black]: I was curious. I wanted to see the man who dared to use that book... and, it seems, you've already dabbled in the knowledge it holds.
Her gaze dropped to Gaster's left arm. Instinctively, Gaster followed her eyes and noticed that something was off—Sewing marks were hidden, and staple marks were all over his arm.
Gaster felt a chill run down his spine.
[Gaster]: You mean...
[Black]: Yes, You used it, didn't you? The forbidden knowledge—the kind that lingers on your soul. I can sense it, The knowledge of the book the one labeled 'Body Strengthening by The Mad One.
Her smile widened, her eyes gleaming with a predatory glint, Gaster's spine felt like it had turned to ice at her words.
[Black]: I'm just curious, though—why did you even touch it? Did you even know it was made from the human skin of her victims? And tell me, how many times did you throw up when you saw the horrors on the very first page?
Gaster's mind raced back to the moment he first opened that cursed book.
[Gaster]: Human skin? That explains the familiar feeling when I touch it, also it was six times for the first page.
[Black]: You seem to have modified your arm with a hidden exoskeleton from the seventh page
Gaster was surprised he wanted to ask but White answered him
[White]: You don't have to ask because that book was made using Ron as an experiment
Gaster's eyes widened in shock as White's words sank in.
[Gaster]: Ron... was an experiment?
His voice barely concealed the mix of disbelief and anger bubbling beneath the surface.
[White]: Yes, White said quietly, That book, 'Body Strengthening by The Mad One,' wasn't just a creation of twisted knowledge—it was based on the tortures Ron endured. They used him to document and refine every grotesque modification. The seventh page—where you got the idea for your exoskeleton arm—was one of their more 'successful' experiments.
