Burning desire surged through her body, scorching and unbearable; The cool stream flowed behind her, refreshing and crisp.

It was truly the embodiment of "ice and fire."

The forced combat accelerated Rossweise's physical recovery.

At first, she fainted upon waking up.

But now, after fighting two consecutive battles, she still had some energy, though a bit dizzy.

This was the body of a Dragon King—its endurance was truly maxed out.

After the "second round" ended, Leon lay beside her to rest.

Pulling out a map and a pen from his pocket, he marked a circle on a certain spot.

There was already a circle drawn earlier, which Rossweise recognized as the cherry blossom forest where they had just fought.

And now, this new circle marked the location of this little stream.

Rossweise glanced at other places on the map, and her vision instantly darkened.

There were still seven or eight unchecked spots without circles.

Which meant… tonight, they still had to—

"My Queen, tonight, I won't let you off easily. After all those times you've played me, prepare yourself for the tables to turn."

Leon carried Rossweise and waded across the stream.

His revenge-fueled celebration was far from over.

———

Before dawn broke, Leon carried Rossweise back to the room.

When planning his grand revenge, he not only surveyed several terrains but also calculated the maidservants' morning routine at the sanctuary.

Around 5 a.m., the Silver Dragon Sanctuary would begin its bustling day.

To avoid letting those big-tailed lizards discover their Queen had spent the night "frolicking" in the back mountains with Leon, avoiding the "morning rush" was necessary.

Additionally, Leon assessed his physical condition, estimating whether he'd have enough energy after another night of "vigorous battle" to handle the aftermath.

Turns out, his calculations were spot-on.

After returning to the room, Leon wiped down the unconscious Rossweise, who had passed out for the second time. He also took a quick bath, completely draining his stamina.

Holding Rossweise, he collapsed onto the bed, motionless.

The two of them leaned against the headboard, falling into a deep sleep together.

Outside, the wind flowed in through the balcony windows, stirring the curtains and brushing against their exhausted faces.

Rossweise's long eyelashes quivered slightly, as if chilled by the morning breeze. She instinctively burrowed closer to the warmth beside her.

RUSTLE—

Her skin brushed lightly against the blanket. Leon turned his head, resting it on the crown of Rossweise's head, inhaling the fragrance of her hair and savoring the soft tickle of her strands on his face.

When asleep, all beings instinctively sought warmth.

It was hard to imagine that the two, now entwined in slumber, had been fiercely battling in the wild just last night.

Well, the night always had a mysterious power, capable of unleashing one's innermost desires and longings.

At 8 a.m., the sound of the door unlocking was followed by the pitter-patter of hurried footsteps.

Luna ran into the bedroom, ready to call out, "Daddy! Mommy!" but froze upon seeing the two fast asleep.

The little dragon girl approached, scratching her head in confusion.

"Why aren't they awake yet?"

Usually, Mommy woke up early—well, Daddy didn't always—but Mommy never slept in.

She tugged gently on her mother's tail. "Mommy, wake up. The sun's shining on your tail."

"Mm… go play with Daddy…" Rossweise murmured groggily, snuggling closer to Leon as she spoke.

Luna ran to Leon's side and poked his arm. "Daddy, wake up. The sun's shining on your butt."

Leon turned over, pulling Rossweise closer in his arms, muttering drowsily, "Go play with your mom…"

"But you two are hugging so tightly. Who's going to play with Luna?"

Frustrated, Luna stomped her feet. But then she thought about how Mommy had just woken up from her coma and how Daddy sometimes became weak.

Maybe they just needed more rest this time.

Luna nodded, feeling her reasoning was impeccable.

"Fine, I'll take care of you guys instead."

Jumping onto the bed, the little dragon girl gently adjusted the blanket over her "troublesome" parents.

But in doing so, she noticed some red marks on Daddy's neck and arms.

Kneeling nearby, she observed closely.

The marks weren't bite marks or scratches.

And they weren't just on Daddy; Mommy had a lot of them too.

Scratching her head, Luna mused, "What are these…?"

Then, a light bulb went off in her head.

"Oh~ these must be… bug bites. Luna knows how to fix this."

Remembering a magical ointment Noah had used on her bug bites before, she quickly retrieved it from her sisters' room and returned.

Carefully applying the ointment to every "mark" on Leon and Rossweise, she worked with utmost seriousness and attention.

Had Luna been more aware, uncovering more of their skin would have left her shocked.

"Daddy and Mommy were bitten all over? Such nasty bugs!"

Once finished, Luna sighed in relief, wearing a proud smile.

Kneeling between her parents, she felt deeply moved by their intimate slumber.

Ever since Daddy had awakened, she hadn't seen them so close.

Though not a greedy child, just watching them like this filled her with happiness.

Swishing her tail, she wished this moment could last forever.

Well, maybe not—otherwise, they couldn't continue loving her.

Adjusting the blanket again, Luna tiptoed out, closing the door behind her.

———

By the afternoon, Leon slowly woke up.

Noticing the blanket over him, he barely had time to wonder who covered them when warm breaths tickled his ear.

Turning his head, he found himself snuggling with Rossweise.

Panicking, Leon slipped out from under the blanket, shaking his head before glancing at the clock on the wall.

"It's already 3 p.m.?"

Though still tired after 10+ hours of sleep, he was in much better shape than Rossweise, who slept soundly beside him.

Leon didn't wake her—not out of consideration, but because last night had drained him too. He needed his own cooldown time.

After washing his face, Leon began strategizing.

He knew he had enraged Rossweise and couldn't escape her wrath.

When she recovered, he would inevitably become her punching bag again.

But for now, Leon still had time.

His plan was simple—comprehensive, merciless training for this dragon queen.

Push her to exhaustion so she couldn't fight back effectively.

Since his body would eventually be broken after her recovery, why not maximize its current value?

Torment! Relentless torment!

With his plan set, Leon left the room to inform the maids they wouldn't need dinner prepared tonight.

Before long, he encountered Anna, who held a tray with a bowl of dark medicinal soup.

"What's that, Anna?" Leon asked.

"Oh, it's a restorative medicine for Her Majesty. I had the clan's apothecary prepare it upon hearing she woke up. Is she in the room?"

Thinking quickly, Leon replied, "Yes, she's resting. Give me the medicine—I'll bring it to her later."

"Understood, Your Highness."

After Anna left, Leon locked himself in his room, eyeing the medicinal soup.

If this could restore a dragon's body, perhaps it might enhance his stamina or shorten his cooldown.

With that hope, he drank it all in one go.

Wiping his mouth, he savored the taste.

"Hmm, not as good as Dragon Power."

Satisfied, he returned to Rossweise's room.
