Strongest Necromancer Online

Raze stood still staring at the screen in front of him, his class had been changed from Dark mage to Necromancer.

Sure he knew there were subclass but no one had ever found any clue on how to obtain them, but he just did.

His entire system screen felt like he was looking at something new, his spells were gone and new ones were added, and more importantly he had more spells.

Next his stats had also been upgraded, his Mana was increased along with his intelligence and spellpower, those were the most important though all the rest of his stats were also increased.

'What the hell did I see, does that has to do with my new class, I'm not going to think much about it and find a way out of here first'

Raze turned around but of course he wasn't just going to walk out like that as the door which he came in from was gone, replaced by a wall and there was no other way to escape then a message came in.

[Dungeon Boss]

[Skeletal Mage]

Raze turned around and a skeleton mage was behind him, he skeleton had marking on it body and held a staff with an orb at the tip.

The boss made no sound as it raised its staff, a dark orb forming at its tip. Without warning, the projectile shot forward, aimed directly for him.

"Darkblast!" Raze instinctively cast a spell launching his own sphere of swirling shadows to intercept.

The two spells collided mid-air, exploding in a flash of black light. The shockwave pushed Raze back a step, as soon as he got the necromancer class, the knowledge of casting the spells he got was already in his head.

Dust settled, and the skeletal mage stood unfazed, already preparing its next attack.

Raze's eyes narrowed. His spells were stronger now but he wasn't that surprised since his stats was increased, but the boss was stronger too.

Raze placed his hands on the ground and, "Summon!"

A pale blue magic circle flared on the stone floor, and a skeletal warrior emerged, clutching a rusted blade and shield.

[Summoned Skeleton – Level 3]

The skeletal warrior lunged forward, sword raised. The boss responded with a sharp motion of its staff, conjuring black energy around the summoned skeleton's feet.

[Shadow Bind]

Dark tendrils lashed out from the ground, snaring Raze's summon in place. The skeletal mage wasted no time.

It raised its staff high, gathering energy before a beam of shadow magic erupted from the tip—piercing straight through the summoned skeleton's ribcage, reducing it to dust but Raze also shot a spell.

The Mage moved his staff forward and the spell collided with a shield exploded and push the mage backwards.

[Summon Defeated]

Raze flinched as he looked at the boss, "It can lock down my summons and destroy them instantly, what do I do?"

Immediately Raze dashed away towards the one of the pillars in the room, it was the only place he could hide from the mage.

[Summon]

Raze cast another summon this time bringing two skeletons to distract the mage as he hid behind the pillar.

"System, tell me about my new spells"

[Description (Darkblast) Unleashes a concentrated blast of dark energy, damaging enemies in a small area upon explosion]

[Soul Snatch – Steals a portion/all of the target's soul, weakening them and restoring Mana or increasing stats]

[Corpse Explosion – Causes a nearby corpse to explode, dealing damage to all enemies around it]

[Harvest Essence – Absorbs the lingering life force from defeated enemies, boosting your mana or health regeneration temporarily]

[Summon – Calls forth a creature or undead minion to fight alongside you]

[You would receive a notification when a spell upgrads to the next level]

Raze glanced through the screen quickly, he knew how to cast the spell but he wanted to see the description just in case.

Raze moved his head to peek at the skeleton.

The skeletal mage pointed its staff at him this time. A swirling black mist surrounded it as multiple shadowy bolts formed around its body.

[Shadow Barrage]

"What the heck?"

Raze braced himself and cast another of his spell "Darkblast!"

A black orb formed in his palm and shot forward, colliding with one of the incoming bolts and the explosion stopped the other one.

One more projectiles slipped through and slammed into the pillar sending Raze flying.

[HP: 70 → 60]

Pain shot through his arm as he looked at it, the shadow had grazed him.

"Alright," Raze growled, "I'll try something now"

"Summon!"

Since the spell was wasn't just for summoning skeleton he could summon any undead, but he would have to be stronger than them.

This time, he poured more mana into the spell. A taller, broader skeleton materialized, its armor more intact, wielding a shield and a long sword.

[Summoned Skeleton – Level 4]

It was still a skeleton this time but it was different from the former ones, maybe he just wasn't strong enough to summon anything other than skeleton.

"Stand your ground"

The skeletal warrior raised its shield just as the boss unleashed another barrage of dark bolts.

Surprisingly the shield held firm, blocking the attack and Raze took the chance to cast.

"Darkblast!"

The orb shot toward the skeletal mage, slamming into its ribcage with enough force to crack the bone.

The skeletal mage staggered, but raised its staff again. Dark mist swirled around the dungeon floor.

[Skeletal Minions]

Four skeletal minions clawed their way out of the ground, each wielding chipped swords and shields.

[Skeletal Minion – Level 3]

Raze's summoned skeleton intercepted the first minion, blocking its strike with a loud clang. The second slashed from the side, cutting into its ribs.

Raze had to think fast. He couldn't explode a summon or steal energy from mindless undead, but he could focus on damage.

The skeletal mage raised its staff, summoning another bolt of shadow aimed directly for Raze.

"Shit!" He sidestepped, but the blast caught his shoulder, pain flaring through him.
