Succeed, or Fall into Depravity as a Witch!

008 It’s just a Transformation, my Manliness is still Intact!

Song Tianxing explained in more detail afterwards, but Jiangming was preoccupied and not listening carefully. He could only remember the outline of what was said.

According to senior brother, Joyous Union’s ‘Six Hells Heart Tribulations’ came from a female Supreme-level cultivator in ancient times, named ‘Six Desires Demon Emperor’, whose cultivation was sinister and treacherous, and specialised in attacks against the mind.

A hundred years after Six Desires Demon Emperor disappeared, the rules of heaven and earth suddenly changed, and the originally normal Heavenly Tribulations became mysteriously twisted, and nothing was more mysterious than the Six Hells Heart Tribulations.

Due to how similar those heart tribulations were to the spells of Six Desires, it was commonly believed amongst historians that the Demon Emperor fell from heaven during her disappearance, affecting the ways of heaven. Those heart tribulations were derived from this downfall.

“Six Desires Demon Emperor was a peerless woman, who cultivated from being a human cauldron to being an Emperor. Her physique was also Cloud Seeding Fairy Spirit Body, and those that shared her physique will naturally be sensitive to the Six Hells Heart Tribulations, as well as be particularly compatible with them.”

Song Tianxing coughed, and continued to explain:

“I originally thought that since you are still a man and your physique has not yet been activated, there should be no problems……Now it appears the best option is for senior brother here to get you a Yin-conversion pill, so you can become a woman as soon as possible. Once you’ve cultivated [Incomplete Yin Psalm] to a certain level, you naturally no longer need to fear heart tribulations.”

After hearing senior brother’s advice, Jiangming’s face became gloomy and uncertain.

“Human…...human cauldron…...Could it be that Six Desires Demon Emperor, was also our Joyous Union’s…...” he murmured.

Song Tianxing did not expect this question, after a pause, he laughed as he shook his head, “You are mistaken. While the Demon Emperor was indeed from Joyous Union Sect, but that was the Joyous Union Sect of old. The ancient Joyous Union Sect of the past…...is not the same as our sect today.”

Raising his head slightly, he recited from his memory: “The ancient Joyous Union Sect recruited only women as disciples, and they did not practice mutually beneficial dual cultivation. Instead, they only plunder essence from others for themselves. Six Desires Demon Emperor was also not one of Joyous Union’s proper disciples, but the human cauldron of Joyous Union Sect Master Xia Qianqian at the time.”

“Someone who shared my physique was a sex slave. How inspiring.” Jiangming was struck numb.

Song Tianxing put down the medicine bowl in his heads, and chuckled lightly as he looked at Jiangming: “Who says that’s not the case? Cultivation is boundless, the ups and downs of the moment do not determine the end result. The Demon Emperor herself rose from her lowly origins to the apex of cultivation. Don’t be discouraged.”

“Thank you for your encouragement senior brother, I understand now. Let’s see each other again tomorrow.” Jiangming casually saluted with a cupped fist and left burdened with his heavy thoughts.

Returning to his abode, with doors firmly locked, Jiangming’s heart pounded as if jumping in his chest. He couldn’t help but want to try that novel idea of his.

‘Turn Yin’ Method……

Change into a woman……

Cultivate and then change back……

Both preserving the precious existence of his little Jiang, and also taking the first steps towards immortality. It seemed this way would help him achieve both goals at once?

His heartbeats sped up as Jiangming shut his eyes. The cultivation instructions regarding ‘Turn Yin Method’, and the author’s warnings came to his mind one by one.

The author strongly emphasised — after turning to Yin, the practitioner’s personality would change to a certain extent. This personality change was so subtle that the practitioner by themselves could hardly notice.

The author even warned at the end: One must not maintain the Yin state for more than twenty-four hours, and then one must rest for an equivalent amount of time as the transformation, otherwise this would result in irreversible feminisation of the body and mind.

“No big deal.”

Jiangming was filled with confidence.

“I’ll only use ‘Turn Yin Method’ to cultivate, timing myself properly, balancing work and rest. This has basically no side effects whatsoever. I am as always, a manly man!”

Now fully understanding how ‘Turn Yin Method’ worked, Jiangming could begin to comprehend how extraordinary the ‘Three Yin Methods’ were. Changing dragons into phoenixes, reversing yin and yang, such miraculous powers should be the domain of those who mastered comprehension of heaven and earth, yet the bare minimum requirements to use these methods were ridiculously low.

Except for ‘Borrow Yin’ which required at least reaching Qi Refinement stage in cultivation, the other two methods can be practiced even by ordinary mortals who had yet to draw qi into their bodies, as long as they used specified qi-replenishing supplements.

Going down the mountain, procuring all the necessary pills required.

Jiangming immediately begun his first attempt when he returned.

“Huu……I hope, hope it goes well……Those pills were quite expensive.”

He clasped his fingers together to pray, chanting repeatedly. He then took out two small black pellets, and threw them into his mouth. He closed his eyes and held his breath as he sat meditating.

As the pills entered the stomach, the energy stored within was released. It instantly spread throughout the entire body to his limbs and bones, like a torrential stream.

Following the internal observation method taught by [Like-Dragon Arte], Jiangming guided the medicinal power to slowly flow along specific pathways within, nourishing parts of the body as mentioned in the book from Endless Hell.

There was a slight heat in the lower abdomen, and the further along he circulated, the more unbearable that heat became, until eventually he could no longer remain calm. Then amid a surge in medicinal power, he gradually fell into a mysterious state of ‘tranquillity’, like a deep dream. There seemed to be butterflies dancing in front of his eyes, guiding his consciousness onwards to the unknown opposite shore.

A spotless full-length mirror reflected the elegant young man on the bed.

Then, the man in the mirror gradually transformed. The body shrunk, the waist narrowed, the robe around the hips and chest bulged outwards, resulting in exquisite curves.

Silky black hair grew slowly to waist-level, and the skin gently turned the colour of spring snow with hints of peach, and looked so supple one could imagine squeezing water from it. The facial features, which were already leaning feminine before, became even more delicate now. They radiated with previously hidden ‘charm’, as vivid as the first rain of spring, otherworldly beautiful as if a living painting walked out from its scroll.

No longer could the word ‘male’ be attributed to the ‘young lady’ in the mirror.

The heat subsided as Jiangming panted lightly, recovering from that out-of-body experience.

She opened her eyes, confused and bewildered. After a long while, her eyes regained their former spirit.

This mischievous yet graceful fairy looked down at her chest, getting an eyeful of those plump, proud peaks stretching out the thin fabric of her robe. She first smiled bitterly, suddenly froze as she thought of who-knows-what, before laughing foolishly.

“As expected of me……even my starting assets are abundant!”

Her voice was crisp and delicate, but it felt somewhat alienating knowing it came from her mouth. She felt like a man playing around with a voice changer, embarrassed but also a tiny bit excited.

Remembering how she could change back later, Jiangming felt relieved again.

No big deal!

The temptation of ‘the path to immortality’ was immense, which easily overwhelmed the mental discomfort of now having a woman’s body. Jiangming thought no more of it, and immediately began practicing [Like-Dragon Arte]. After a second, she was shocked.

Ma-Masaka!1Norway! This feeling is! So refreshing! So effortless!

Jiangming instantly understood what ‘limpid meridians’ meant! In the same instant she understood the distance in talent between ‘genius’ and ‘mediocre’, was more than the difference between cloud and mud! It was like the Trisolarans from the Three Body Problem versus primitive cavemen!

The qi she couldn’t feel no matter what she did as a man, but now with a slight effort easily revealed itself to her perception. It resonated with the internal qi that had been collected and refined within her.

In her senses, the rich spiritual energy in the surroundings seemed like a crystal-clear pool full of emerald-green water, and she was a fish bathing within. Every cell on her skin was intimately embraced by that pool of water, bringing an unimaginable sense of pleasurable comfort.

Jiangming even thought……with this female form of hers now, even if she didn’t actively practice [Like-Dragon Arte], she could still quickly and innately learn how to refine qi by instinct, and step onto the path of cultivation.

And then, as she was on her second circulation of qi, Jiangming suddenly felt a pain in the lower abdomen. “Cough……” She spat out a mouthful of fresh blood.

Checking her meridians, Jiangming quickly realised the problem. [Like-Dragon Arte] circulated qi internally through the entire body of a man, and the route should have also gone through that little organ, which……women obviously don’t have.

Forcing qi down the wrong way would obviously result in pain, leading to internal injury and spitting blood.

Fortunately, Jiangming came prepared. When she bought those pills supplements, she also stopped by the skill repository to pick up [Incomplete Yin Psalm] as well. The cost of the arte was quite cheap, almost given away for free. Probably because the demand was so perversely high by all those new junior sisters every year, and there’s little fear of the arte leaking out of the sect.

Afterwards, Jiangming changed her cultivating method to that of [Incomplete Yin Psalm].

There were no problems this time.

A total of forty-nine rotations were completed, when the qi opened up a special ‘meridian’ in the lower Dantian. This meridian was thicker and had a round peach shape. As the absorbed qi travelled through it, some of the energy stayed behind.

The qi trapped within the lower Dantian swirled constantly, like a cyclone hidden inside the human body. With a mere thought, the reserved qi can re-enter the outer meridians and burst out as commanded.

Jiangming estimated that cultivating to this point would mean completing the act of ‘drawing qi into the body’.

“Very good, and then once I change back……” She thought to herself.

Then — just as she was about to revert the Turn Yin transformation back into a man, there was a rapid knocking on the door which suddenly disrupted her plan.

“Brother Jiang! Brother Jiang!” Qin Wuyi called out anxiously from outside the door, “There’s a senior sister looking for you! She……ahem! She said she’s senior brother Song Tianxing’s legal wife!”

Uh oh!

The protagonist gender-bends for the first time, finally making this a proper gender-bending novel! Thank you for reading.
