After fiercely clashing with Weapon XI for so long, followed by unleashing an ultimate-level sword technique, Alex—despite his formidable physique—was visibly winded. His right hand, gripping the adamantium blade, trembled slightly. Meanwhile, Weapon XI had already recovered, thanks to its rapid regenerative ability.

Fast healing was undeniably overpowered!

In truth, Alex's ocular technique, the "Annihilation Eye," also allowed him to recover injuries swiftly using spirit energy. Even near-fatal wounds could be healed in moments. Unfortunately, this ability only functioned in Annihilation Eye mode. Because the two ocular techniques couldn't be used simultaneously, he lacked this regenerative power while in Ghost Eye mode.

In other words, if Alex couldn't eliminate Weapon XI quickly, he would be worn down by attrition. Once his stamina ran out, he would become like a declawed tiger, completely at the enemy's mercy.

"Impressive! You even managed to block that. But I'm done playing games with you. Prepare to die!"

As he spoke, Alex's aura underwent a sudden transformation. If he had been as sharp and focused as an eagle during the earlier battle, he now radiated the ferocity and aggression of a tiger, brimming with killing intent.

Weapon XI didn't respond, but a sharp gleam flickered in its eyes. With a metallic clang, the blades extending from its hands crossed in front of its chest, awaiting Alex's next move.

Invisible waves of spirit energy surged from Alex's body like a relentless tide, flowing into the adamantium blade in his grasp.

"Buzz..."

The blade suddenly emitted a radiant glow that grew increasingly dazzling. Alex's crimson Ghost Eye shimmered with an otherworldly brilliance, while the sword in his hand radiated blinding light. The intensity of his aura—and the blade's energy—soared to unprecedented heights.

In an inexplicable move, Alex abruptly swung the sword downward, striking the ground with full force.

"What's he doing?"

"What's going on? Why is he attacking the ground in the middle of a fight?"

"Did he lose his mind in the heat of battle?!"

The mutant onlookers were filled with confusion, but Alex neither heard their questions nor cared to answer.

Reality would provide them with the answer.

"Kami-Ryu Style: Dragon Slash!"

Boom!

The moment the adamantium blade struck the ground, a deafening explosion erupted. The immense force shattered the terrain within a ten-meter radius of Alex's position, with Weapon XI caught directly in the blast zone.

"What?!"

"Get down! Don't get caught in the shockwave!"

"Ahhhh!!"

The explosion's shockwave rippled outward, sweeping away the nearby mutants like leaves in a storm, leaving them struggling to stay upright.

Amid the chaos, as Weapon XI stumbled to regain its balance, Alex suddenly swung his blade again, targeting the rubble scattered by the blast.

"Kami-Ryu Secret Technique: Dust Storm Dance!"

With a low exclamation, Alex's blade transformed into a blur, striking the debris with pinpoint precision. Each fragment was imbued with terrifying energy, turning them into deadly projectiles aimed at Weapon XI.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The fragments, now akin to meteors, shot toward Weapon XI with incredible speed and force.

The Dust Storm Dance, a secret Kami-Ryu technique, enabled the user to launch multiple projectiles simultaneously. By infusing them with sword energy, even mundane objects could become lethal weapons. The technique's power depended entirely on the wielder's strength and the potency of their energy.

In comparison to characters in anime who performed this technique with disposable chopsticks, Alex's execution—backed by immense spirit energy and swordsmanship—resulted in catastrophic power.

Under Alex's overwhelming assault, the fragments carried more destructive force than ordinary bullets. Even a master swordsman like Weapon XI, capable of deflecting bullets with precision, found it nearly impossible to evade unscathed.

"Let's see how you—" Alex's triumphant expression froze mid-sentence, replaced by shock and unease.

In the instant the debris rained down, Weapon XI had realized it couldn't withstand the attack. Yet, instead of attempting to block or counter, it took one last look at Alex's position before vanishing.

Before anyone could react, Weapon XI reappeared directly behind Alex, its twin blades plunging toward his back with deadly precision.

Fortunately, Alex's Ghost Eye gave him an edge in reaction speed. Startled but not paralyzed, he stomped the ground forcefully with his right foot, using the rebound to lunge forward just as the blades grazed his previous position.

A split second later, the spot where Alex had stood was obliterated by Weapon XI's vicious attack.

Alex quickly stabilized his stance and turned his head, only to see the figure of Weapon Eleven appearing precisely where he had just been standing. The dual blades in its hands were deeply embedded into the ground. It was clear that if his reaction had been any slower, if he hadn't moved in time, those blades would have pierced right through him!

"This guy actually has teleportation abilities?!"

At that moment, Alex and all the mutants present couldn't help but cry out in shock.

It was common knowledge that the abilities of mutants stemmed from the "X" gene in their DNA, and their powers were usually singular in nature—like Iceman's control over ice, Pyro's manipulation of fire, or Cyclops' optic blasts. Mutants with dual abilities existed but were exceedingly rare. Out of countless mutants, there were fewer than five known to possess dual powers. For example, the Diamond Woman present at the scene had both telepathy and the ability to transform her body into diamond form.

But a mutant with three abilities? That was something unheard of, something no one had ever seen before. Weapon Eleven was the first mutant to exhibit three distinct powers. Judging by the general principle that the more abilities a mutant possessed, the stronger their overall combat capability, Weapon Eleven was undoubtedly the most powerful mutant on the battlefield—bar none.

"Whoosh!"

Retracting its dual blades, Weapon Eleven cast a cold glance at Alex before vanishing once more. In an instant, it reappeared beside him, slashing its dual blades downward in a deadly arc!

The moment Weapon Eleven disappeared, Alex didn't hesitate—he leaped to his left, narrowly avoiding the attack. In one fluid motion, he swung the Adamantium blade in his hand backward in a swift counterattack. The blade gleamed with a concentrated burst of spirit energy, amplifying the power of his strike.

"Clang!"

Weapon Eleven's reappearing figure clashed head-on with Alex's Adamantium blade. The dual blades intercepted the strike just in time. Immediately, Weapon Eleven activated its teleportation again, vanishing from Alex's sight.

"Sshhh—"

A sharp sound rang out. Although Alex had dodged most of the attack, he hadn't fully escaped—it left a fresh wound on his left shoulder!

"This teleportation… it's so bizarre! Doesn't this guy have any cooldown time for his abilities?!"

Internally complaining, Alex quickly focused all his attention on confronting Weapon Eleven.

In this life-or-death situation, where death could come at any moment, Alex felt himself becoming eerily calm under the influence of his Ghost Eye ability. Recklessness would only lead to a quicker demise. With the pressure of survival mounting, his pores contracted, his focus sharpened to a razor's edge, and deep within, a strange sense of exhilaration began to surge.

The combat instinct buried in the depths of his soul awakened as his blood boiled. Beneath his outward composure, a battle frenzy was brewing. The moment for a decisive, fatal strike was drawing near…
