The Ascension

Chapter 112 – We Obey The Goddess

Releases will be slower from this point onward. I have run out of chapters, and will post on the Saturday within the week they are completed. That means, potentially, they could be released weekly, bi-weekly, or further apart. There is still lots to write, and I haven't stopped writing this story.

Toril bowed deeply as the 'goddess' appeared in front of him, just like she said she would. The two people that had disappeared in front of him just over a year ago, now appeared along with her.

"A year has passed, and they haven't changed a bit." Toril said softly. He gestured to his slaves that stood nearby.

'Take good care of them, Toril. My servants will be here within a few minutes.' She looked upward, and sighed softly. 'Moving through time is a bit tiring.' As she dissipated, the door opened forcefully, and Sol walked through.

"They are here!" She stood aside, and allowed Nuri to walk through the door.

"I don't believe it. Master really did it." She whispered. Tears rolled down her cheeks. "I thought they were dead." Sol frowned.

"They will be if you don't do something, sister!" She snapped at her. Nuri's cheeks colored a bit.

"Yes, Master entrusted us with their care." She turned slightly. "Have a few of the soldiers bring me some fresh trees. I have not absorbed the elements as much as I should have." Sol snorted.

"You haven't done shit." She said and turned away. "Master gave us her instructions, and you've disobeyed, Nuri. You better get that butt of yours in motion, or you'll not only disappoint her, you'll anger her." She pointed at the women to the side, both were in danger of dying at any moment.

"If they die, even after Master went back to get them, because you didn't absorb the elements as you were told, she will be greatly disappointed in you." Sol left to send the soldiers to get some trees for Nuri to absorb, while Nuri blushed even brighter.

"Well, that stings." She sniffed. "I guess I have been playing around far too much lately, and not sharing the responsibility to take care of Master." She stepped forward, and when the slaves of Toril stepped closer, a presence appeared on the shop, and pressed them into the stone tiles.

Nuri turned and smirked.  The slave guards had reacted instinctively, and foolishly.

"I wouldn't try to get close to me. Master is extremely jealous, and easily angered." Nuri said. Toril frowned, and waved his hand as he dismissed the slaves there.

"It seems that I will need to shuffle a few people out of the front office." He said in a low voice. "They have forgotten what an angry goddess can do."

Nuri didn't look back, and laid her palms on both women in the middle of their chest. Their bodies healed at a visible pace as they lit up from the inside with green elemental essence.

Life elements were quite potent, and did as they were meant to do. Two sets of eyes opened for the first time since they arrived in that shop. Nuri smiled gently.

"Hello, sisters. We've been worried about you two."

"Don't tremble, Phina." Nuri said as she cradled both women, and held them as they passed the compound of the Inaris clan. Sol pursed her lips.

"They are scared, sister. Of them." She pointed out the window of the carriage, and how they passed the closed gates of that clan. Nuri sighed, and closed her eyes.

'Master, they are still scared. I think that clan should not be left upon Imera's soil.' Nuri said. Sol's cheek twitched as she felt a presence manifest above them.

'Agreed.' Nuldeir said. 'Sol. Destroy them. For your sisters.' Sol began to grin, while Phina and Dhelel lifted their heads.

"Who was that? She feels strong." Phina said, and immediately felt a soft touch to her cheek. The gentle caress had immense amounts of lava elements within it, which only felt like a warm gentle stroke of her skin.

"She is our Master, Phina. The one who saved us from the clan, and freed us from slavery. Elena, Ellie, Shaala and Kaala, as well as Nadya wait for us back at the manor." The two women looked up at her in shock.

"Really? The girls are okay?" Dhelel asked. Nuri nodded.

"Master healed them, and gave them some strength. Like she did our sister, Sol. I don't want you to see what she will do to them, sisters. Sol, can I take them home?" Nuri asked. Sol smirked.

"My dear sister, if that is what you want to do, I will deny you nothing. Master did not say they had to watch." Sol stood up and shook out her long dark hair. She opened the carriage door.

"I will make sure that no forest beast approaches the carriage. A legion will escort you home." She smiled wide. "I have a job to do for our Master. Ah, I am so excited! I can finally wipe that clan out of existence!" Sol disappeared from the carriage, and the door closed behind her, an unseen withered hand pushed it closed from the side of the carriage.

"Will she be okay, Nuri?" Phina asked.

"She's the Queen of Death, Phina." Nuri said, and hugged her. "She's been in charge of the dead soldiers for over two thousand years, and waited on the other side of the mountain to be called home." Nuri looked up, and tears rolled down her cheeks.

"We are all together now, Master. Will you soon give us all babies?" Nuri asked. She felt a gentle touch to her cheek.

'Patience, my love.' Aconia said softly. 'Your sisters are still new, and do not yet understand. Teach them, and help them to grow up. When it is time, we will give you a child to hold in your arms.'

A pair of green eyes stared straight into her eyes from the void, and sent delicious chills down her spine. There was warmth, affection, and power in that gaze. Aconia's gaze made her feel a surge of desire, and a palpable hunger invade her senses.

She so wanted to hug that woman and push her face into her breasts. Nuri wanted to dominate her Master with her hunger, not to wield her power over her.

It was her life element that spurred her to dominate, as it was wild and chaotic. It wanted to cover all with life, dominate and procreate with wild abandon.

She looked down at her new sisters, and grinned. Tonight would be an interesting night, letting them feel the love of the harem that belonged to their Master.

The Magistrate looked at the report, and the pale faces of his guards.

"She finally took action." He said in a low tone.

"The Queen of Death sent a legion to surround the compound, smashed the walls flat, and ripped apart each building to get at the people within." The hidden guard said from behind him. The steward in front had sat down, still shaking from the terror he felt as those soldiers took action.

"How strong are those soldiers, by the way?" The Magistrate asked his hidden guard.

"Stronger than the old monster in Underground Black ever was. Each soldier is completely under the rule of the Queen, and obeys without question. On their own, each soldier can overpower anyone within Thules." He said and retreated into the shadows.

"I watched from a place I should not have been seen, but they saw me, and ignored me. As though I were insignificant." The guard said. The door opened, and Sol walked in with a grin.

"You are insignificant." Sol said, and her eyes flashed. "Keep your people in line. Do not enter the forest to head towards the manor." Sol smiled, her long fangs revealed to all.

"I am giving you this warning as a courtesy only." Her eyes began to leak death elements. "I decimated the old empire on my own, which was much stronger than any on this side of the mountain." She walked away while the steward could no longer stand the pressure. He ran to a bucket and threw up.

The Magistrate clenched his fist, to prevent anyone from seeing how it trembled. He knew that he was no match for the Queen. Aila once taught him a valuable lesson, and he would never forget it.

"She is a servant of that one." The hidden guard said. "A servant. Of the goddess." The Magistrate nodded.

"A king with his head in his ass, or a goddess with servants that only grow stronger. There is no real choice to make."  The Magistrate circulated his energy to quell the nausea that rose up from being exposed to someone so strong, she could rip him apart with her bare hands.

"We obey the goddess."
