ALL NOVEL Chapter 7: Choices, Choices
Just for fun, Bane decided to select each one of the races to see how the five eyed blue skin demon would look. This made Eve giggle, and Nia blush when the sexy and scantily clad images appeared. The only time Bane actually considered any of them was when he looked at the Neko, Naga, and Vampire-Succubus Hybrid.
Concentrating, Bane made three images of Elexis appear, each of them as one of the avatars that had caught his eyes. The first was the Neko. Elexis had long black hair with cat ears coming out of the top of her head, and a long black cat tail with white stripes coming from her lower back. She had a small chest and wore a black leotard that clung tightly to her body.
The next image was the Naga, and Elexis was a beautiful half snake with pale blue skin that matched her eyes. She wore a tight white top with a matching white skirt that went over her large tail. She had no arms, and two snake tails for legs, but she still had her five eyes that Bane found alluring.
Lastly, was the Vampire-Succubus Hybrid. The woman in the image was wearing a black dress with a white apron, but what drew Bane's attention was her sharp fangs and red eyes. Her chest was large, and that would have been nice, but their size was almost comical.
"Hmmm, The cat woman and half vampire are very easy on the eyes, but that Naga is just weird. It feels like the system made her unappealing because it doesn't think it will suite her or something," Bane mused, and then messed around with the body proportions after getting rid of the Naga avatar.
Bane made both avatars only 5’3”, and balanced out their chest and the rest of their bodies to be well endowed, along with sexy curvaceous bodies. Stepping back after a moment, Bane nodded, proud of what he had created, but was no closer to deciding which to pick.
The Neko Elexis was still cute, but she looked more like a house maid. The Vampire-Succubus Elexis looked like a sexy vampire maid, but the outfit didn't really matter. Bane liked both, but he knew there was really only one choice at this point, as much as his mind tried to wander. No, Bane was a man that never strayed away from death, and he was sure that Elexis wouldn't mind living life on nightmare mode.
"Well, I usually choose death for myself, but this feels right for some reason," Bane sighed as he picked the Vampire-Succubus Elexis. "I know this is going to cause a ton of problems, but a tiny part of me says I am making the right choice, possibly. I mean, 98% is screaming bad idea, but I will toss the dice on this one and see what happens. No one says that they will all make it."
While Nia seemed to relax, Eve's face turned to panic, and she tried to get Bane's attention. "Wait! What about Lysia?! "
Bane smirked. "I know that you are trying to tell me to be more cautious, but I don't think it matters what race the women are. They are going to have to climb what I deem to be one of the most insurmountable hurdles any of the women have ever experienced in their entire existence."
"Is it really going to be that hard to get through to her? You are immortal, right?" Nia asked nervously, then paused. "... Does she really think that living forever with just you is possible? How long is forever? How long can two people entertain themselves without more friends? I think that having those friends close like sisters when we all love you will be a good thing, right?"
Bane sighed, and then turned to Nia with a placating smile, patting the top of her head. "You poor naive girl. If you only understood just how crazy Lysia is, you would understand that reason is not one of her strong suits. Anyways, that bridge is coming, but we are not there yet. Let's take a look at the personality selection."

"Well, this is an odd bunch of personality stats. I can see the first two, maybe four, five, and six being applicable to Elexis, but the last three make no sense for her," Bane mused, and then looked at the screen. "Hmm, I feel like I should pick something different to change her personality, but I don't know what? Shy? No, that would ruin her personality. Lazy? No thanks. Timid? It would probably get rejected by her soul!"
Eve seemed to relax when she heard Bane talk to himself, but frowned as he continued to mess with the selections. While Bane didn't have any real issues with any of the selections, he wasn't happy with the choices, so he decided to mess around a bit. After a few minutes of testing, he found that he could choose up to three of them, and while he didn't know if that was the case with everyone else, he felt like it was a good option.
The only issue that came up was that when he tried to use the three options, he had to choose from a list that already existed, which made him want to create a personality that wasn't there. While he could have just used the ones that were on the list, Bane wanted something different. The problem was that he didn't really know what to pick, or what to do, so he sighed and decided to look at the personality selection again.
"I want her to be loyal, but that is a given, and her personality already felt pretty loyal even as a demon to me. What about dutiful? I don't think it would work well with her lustful personality, but I feel like it would be a good fit because of her desire to be my wife. I don't want her to hate me, but I feel like if I choose hateful, it might come across as her not wanting to be with me. An easy solution, but essentially no better than me joking about making Nia a girl. The other option is loyal, but I don't really think that would be a good option," Bane mused as he paced back and forth in front of the screen.
"Is it really this important to be so picky, or do you just want to waste more time so you don't have to go deal with the problem out there?" Eve asked with a roll of her eyes, and Bane gave her an annoyed look.
"This is important. I may act arrogant, stupid, and be a colossal asshole most of the time, but I am giving these women new lives. Not only that, but I can literally change anything about them. Do you really think I should be giving them lives they don't deserve? Do you really think I should give Elexis a personality that doesn't suit her?" Bane asked with a frown, and Eve shook her head.
"No, but I think you are putting too much thought into this," Eve said, but Bane waved his hand.
"What are you talking about? I haven't even done anything yet," Bane laughed. "If I am going to do this, I want to do it right."
After a few more moments, Bane made his final selection. Dutiful, Proud, and Seductive.
"Really? These are the choices? Why are choosing Seductive? The woman was already so good at it that she was imprisoned for it. If that isn't a red flag, I don't know what is," Eve warned, and Bane shrugged confirming the choice, making the three personalities merge on the screen, and change to two new words.
"I know, but that is just her. It's like how a dog can't stop being a dog just because you want it to be something different," Bane explained with a shrug. "It's not that I am okay with her being a slut. Elexis must have had her reasons for it, and I want her to be able to do what she does best."
"I see..." Eve sighed, but then shook her head. "You know, you are probably the most unpredictable person I have ever met."
Bane snorted a laugh. "Thanks, but that doesn't mean much."
After confirming the change, the body of Elexis morphed slightly. Her chest became even larger, and her hips widened, along with a new tail, and her blue skin turned a porcelain white. She also grew several inches taller, making her stand 5'11".
"The fuck is this bullshit?" Bane complained, but now none of the options on the editor screen would respond. "Why even ask me to design them if the damn thing is just going to change it?"
"Umm, I felt my body being put together, but I couldn't see you doing it. I think that because I trusted most of what you were doing, I didn't change much, but the same might not be for Elexis. There might be a certain shape she is used to and her will is reflected in the image before you," Nia explained, and Bane let out a sigh, but waved the problem off before pulling out Elexis's clear crystal demon heart, and popped it in his mouth.
