Earlier when she was fighting the demon she thought he was just using demonic runes to self-destruct with everyone. But now she found out what his aim was. His aim was to cast a curse on her so he could possess my body.

Just now she used the exact same runes the demon had used in the battle. She knew that as a demon who might be thousands of years old his mastery over demonic runes shouldn’t be at such a low level.

So the only reason that explosion happened is because he was caught off guard . The attack Roxanne did was powered by demonic runes.

The enchantment she had in her sword was too harmful to the souls as it is the speciality of demonic runes. When the demon felt his soul being injured by the sword he might have panicked and lost his concentration resulting in the detonation in the demonic runes.

While Roxanne was doing her research a teleportation circle appeared in the living room. And from it came Azrael. She looked at Roxanne and said apologetically, “ Sorry for the late dear “

Roxanne got up from the couch and sad, “Don’t worry about it mother so I take it I can finally go now “

“ yes yes well then let’s go “Azrael said as she excitedly activated the teleportation circle for them to teleport to Grigori.

In Grigori headquarters there are numerous open fields that are commonly used for teleportation. And in one such field a teleportation circle appeared and in a flash came the figures Roxanne, Azrael and Luciana.

Both Roxanne and Luciana looked at their surroundings with curiosity as they took their time to marvel at it.

While they were observing, Azrael walked in front of them and said dramatically, “ Welcome to Grigori the home of all fallen angels. “
