After that awkward conversation everyone quickned their pace as they arrived at the main building.

The building looked like what you could expect from a scifi movie. Due to Grigori having more researcher’s than any other factions they could be considered the most advanced in technology.

As they walked towards the elevator Azrael greeted almost everyone they came across with. It’s not everyday you get to talk with the Queen of the Fallen angels so most wouldn’t miss the opportunity to strike up a conversation.

As they were waiting in the elevator waiting to arrive at the 99 floor Roxanne asked some things she was curious about.Like how much of an influence Grigori has in the human world technology. As far as she could see, the technology here is 100 years ahead of what earth has. And although she never dug deep into it she found out that most scientists who are famous in the human world are actually from Grigori.

“ Well, most of those guys are people who came from the orphanage we manage. “ Azrael explained.

Even though fallen angels are beings of sin they were once angels. So some still retained their kindness despite being cast out of heaven. They all came together and created an orphanage for the children who are thrown into the supernatural world despite not having any magical backgrounds.

Since these childrens are able to get into contact with numerous researchers they most would become researchers as well. While their findings may not be worth here in the human world they are priceless.

“ I see, “ Roxanne said with a complex expression. She now realised how absurd the situation concerning the human world is. Humans are completely under the control of supernatural beings. She bet that if the supernatural community suddenly vanished the human world would slowly go into ruin in a couple of centuries.

Without a guiding hand they would slowly stop improving. They would stagnate and go back to the ice age. Without competition there is no improvement, only stagnant. This is an undeniable saying.

Without supernatural beings to stimulate humans they would stop creating new things and stagnate. And even if they somehow began to walk on their own their progress would be much slower. Humans were never known for their patience. They would give up halfway.

While Roxanne was thinking this they unknowingly arrived at their destination. When the elevator door opened Roxanne was greeted with a big surprise.

The entire whole was decorated with party wrappers and balloons. There was a banner in the middle saying , “ Welcome Princess “. Many fallen angels were gathered in front of the elevator door.

“ We welcome the princess to Grigori “ They all said in a synchronised manner as though they practiced this for hundreds of times.

“ I hope you like our little welcome party sweety “ Azrael said as she looked at her daughter with a motherly smile.

“ You don’t say “Roxanne said absent-mindedly. She seemed to have underestimated how enthusiastic the fallen angels were about her arrival. I mean for them to completely decorate an entire floor that is as big as a football court.

Roxanne could even see some familiar faces in the crowd. And most of them were people who they greeted downstairs.

‘ How the hell are they even here before us? Was there another lift that is way faster than what we came from or did they fly her’ Roxanne wondered as she looked at them. Some had small beads of sweat coming down their face so they might have flown up her with the highest speed they could.

“ Come princess, we prepared many special things just for you “ Penemue said as she gestured to Roxanne and Azreal inside. While she gave Lucia a curious glance she didn’t speak much.

Roxanne who noticed her glance thought, ‘ Oh it seems luciana is quite famous for Penemue to recognise her immediately. And now that I think about it, even Azazel’s reaction had an unusual reaction when he saw her for the first time. ‘

She still remembered how Azazel had stared at Lucia at the party. And that was not him being the usual prevert. His gaze had a bit of wariness and surprise. This is similar to the look that Penemue gave Luciana.

‘ I wonder what Luciana forgot to tell me ‘ Roxanne thought as she walked inside. Even though she and Luciana are partners for nearly a decade Luciana never told her much about herself.

Her self esteem was quite low as she always says that she is a bit weaker than her elder sister. But during these years Roxanne could tell that Luciana is a genius comparable to herself.

Her use of domain magic ; which she was able to use after their contract, is proof of that. If she uses her full capabilities she could completely make a whole county disappear by pulling it into her domain . She is also able to control other shadows making them temporarily puppets.

And she is more fearsome when she combines her ice magic with domain magic. If one has no ability similar to Roxanne’s domain then their only fate is to be skewered by ice lances that would pop up everywhere.

And Luciana became such a powerful person in just a decade after she met Roxanne. If that isn’t talent Roxanne didn’t know what it is.

‘ Let's just hope it isn't something that would be something like her dark history ‘ Roxanne thought with a chuckle. She didn't think that would be possible even when this world is a fictional world.

During the welcome party Roxanne met with various fallen angels. Most of them were never introduced in the story but held quite important positions.

During the party she found out some interesting things about fallen angels.

One that is most fallen angels have human partners. The percentage of two fallen angels having each other as a partner is about 1%.

When she asked about it she found something quite interesting. Most fallen angels while having different personalities carry one common trait. That is they lean a bit towards the S side. So many take human partners as they are easy to dominate.

And this is why most of Grigori’s personnel are either humans or half fallen angels.

The scarcity in pure blood fallen angels is one of the reasons that Grigori maintained a neutral stand in the supernatural world.

But despite this they never consider doing the boring pure blood crap like the devils do. While they are afraid of losing pure fallen angels they don't really care too much about it to do something like the devils do.

As long as they are angels who fall from grace there would be no shortage of pure fallen angels.

Roxanne really had to give it to them. These guys may be the most freed faction in the biblical faction.
