Hi, it’s Mii-chan!
Nero-kun has started working at the guild, so I’ve decided to join him. I want to help him as much as I can!
My job is to be adorable and loved by everyone! It’s a perfect job for me, combining my special talents with my hobbies. When I purr cutely and meow, everyone loves to pet me and their eyes soften. They call it being a “charming cat” in the human world. Nero-kun taught me that.
But since I’m just a kitten, I have a hard time waking up early in the morning. Sometimes, I find myself asleep on the guild’s desk. By the time I wake up, Nero-kun is already working. I drink the water prepared for me and then head out for an exploration!
Nero-kun’s workspace is small, so my explorations are usually brief. But sometimes the doors or windows are open, so I get to go outside.
“Don’t go too far!”
“Okay, I’ll be back soon!”
I’m a good kitty who listens to Nero-kun’s instructions.
Behind the guild, there are the “pappa-ppaka” (horses), so I went to say hello. It’s important to make greetings because we’re working in the same guild. The horses greeted me back, and now we’re friends!
On my way back to Nero-kun, I met an old cat soaking up the sun.
“Good morning, Auntie!”
“Oh? I don’t think I’ve seen you before. Where are you from?”
“I’m Mii-chan, and I work at the guild.”
“Oh my, Mii-chan, you’re so small and working hard. It’s pitiful.”
“Am I pitiful?”
“Of course. Cats are meant to be free. They only need to interact with humans when they want food.”
Really? I’m happy being around people and animals. It seems like Auntie Cat feels differently. She kept talking about the freedom of cats, and it got a bit tiring.
“Oh, Mii-chan! Were you chatting with this stray cat? Let’s get back to work now.”

“Auntie, see you later!”
“Such a pitiful child…”
I’m not pitiful! I love my job and being with Nero-kun. It’s a bit sad not to see the gods, but as long as the path is open, I can return anytime.
