Chapter 26: Bleach Arc - 25
Khan was standing in the real Karakura Town, while Aizen and Gin were taking a casual stroll through the gate, they would still be there in a few minutes. Khan wasn't worried, with Aizen believing he was dead, he wouldn't keep an active eye out. Khan quickly found the first group he was looking for, Mizuiro Kojima, Keigo Asano, Tatsuki Arisawa, and Chizuru Honsho.
When Khan found them, Keigo was carrying Mizuiro, and Tatsuki was carrying Chizuru. They were arguing, or rather Tatsuki was yelling at Keigo to hurry up, and Keigo was saying they were going the wrong way. They both shut their mouths instantly when they saw Khan standing there. While they tried to decide on a plan of action, Khan used a combination of Shadow Reach and Shadow Blade and impaled Keigo and Mizuiro.
Tatsuki was paralyzed by what she just saw. Before she could react, Khan grabbed her chin and me her lock eyes with him and said, "If you don't want to end up like them, then behave yourself." All Tatsuki could do was nod, and before she knew what was happening, both she and Chizuru disappeared into his Shadow Pocket. Khan looked at the lifeless bodies of Keigo and Mizuiro, then immediately headed towards Ichigo's school.
Khan was at the school, and he found the rest of the targets easily, as they were together in their classroom unconscious. Khan realized an opportunity and quickly pulled Chizuru out of his Shadow Pocket, and then he used Morpheus's Dreamland. Khan gave a quick smirk as he received the notice.
[Seeds have been planted in the following: Michiru Ogawa, Mahana Natsui, Meguru Serizawa, Kaori Wakutsu, Misato Ochi, and Chizuru Honsho.]
Khan saw there were several other female classmates, but they didn't have the presence or appearance to warrant his attention. Still, Khan thought it would be a waste to leave them behind, so he placed them in his Shadow Pocket. That just left the guys.
Khan doubted that he could ever find a good use for them, so he pulled out a device he made beforehand. It was a bomb. As Khan placed it, he couldn't help but reminisce about the last time he used it.
It was in Night City, T-Bug's netrunner lair. He had given T-Bug a special demon he called Ripcord. He told her that it was an emergency exit should the hotel go into lockdown, and it did just that, but what he didn't tell her was that it would become a Neural Coller. After T-Bug activated it, she signaled her location to him. He used a similar bomb to completely destroy that room but leave the rest of the building unaffected. Along with a few other toys, he had convinced everyone that T-Bug had either killed herself or had fled the country.
Khan activated the bomb. This one was rigged to go off the moment this room was returned to the world of the living. Khan unceremoniously dumped the bodies of Keigo and Mizuiro. Then he felt the pressure of Aizen and knew he had arrived.
Now standing on the roof of the school, Khan used the Eyes of Hermaeus Mora to peek at what Aizen was doing. Khan saw a familiar scene, Aizen and Gin were walking along when the disoriented businessman walked toward them. In the anime, that man evaporated because of Aizen's spiritual pressure, but that was just censorship. The truth was the moment the man got close, Aizen's hand was a blur for a moment, and as soon as they were past him, he dropped his briefcase, and blood exploded from his front half. It was a very bloody and gory mess.
The scene progressed as expected, except this time they didn't run into Ichigo's friends. Aizen instead found a small pool of blood, and while he was distracted, Gin chose that moment to make his move. Gin used the secret poison from his sword and completely destroying Aizen's body. Aizen in turn completely rebuilt himself and killed Gin.
Ichigo suddenly appeared with his long black hair, signaling that he was at his peak. Ichigo forced Aizen to the outskirts, and once there, Aizen gave his monolog theory about what Ichigo did and why he could no longer feel Ichigo's power. Khan was amused by how clueless Aizen was, and then he found himself slightly irked when he realized he also couldn't sense Ichigo's power. Khan's plan would mean Ichigo's power might be his, or he would be a broken mess incapable of standing up to a bunny, let alone him.
As Aizen started gloating about the destruction of a nearby mountain, Khan noted that it was almost time. Khan moved to a closer location, just in time to see Ichigo perform the final attack. Aizen took the attack head-on, then the moment Khan had been waiting for had arrived, the Hogyoku began rejecting him.
Khan suddenly appeared next to Aizen, Aizen was stunned by seeing Khan still alive and with no signs of injury. Khan didn't say anything he just pulled out and activated the Soul Cleanser. Suddenly, the Hogyoku left Aizen's body and landed in Khan's hand. The moment it touched Khan's skin he got a notification.

Khan answered with a yes. The Hogyoku began fusing with Khan. With the system's help, it was done within moments. Ichigo and Aizen were both surprised by how quickly the Hogyoku accepted Khan as its master. Khan stood there his appearance was more or less the same, except now his mask was gone. Khan felt the presence of his mask, it was now a pendant hanging from his neck. It looked like a three-horned helmet, with a claymore and a battle ax intersecting behind it.
Khan was pulled out of his thoughts when he heard Aizen say, "H-how did you do this? How long have you been planning this?" Khan smiled and said, "The moment that stupid hammerhead threatened my Harribel." A total lie, but he didn't need to know that. While he was always planning to take the Hogyoku it wasn't until Aizen got the drop on him in the sewers that he realized he had to be more subtle.
The truth was while he might have been able to take Aizen, Khan would have to take apart at least half the Soul Society to find his half, and that would've painted a target on his back he wasn't ready for. Khan thought he let Aizen do all the leg work and swoop in and reap all the benefits. Khan noticed that without the Hogyoku Aizen's spiritual power was in free fall, in a couple of hours he be weaker than a newborn.
Khan placed his hand on Aizen and said, "Goodbye Aizen, you were useful, but that time has passed." Then Khan activated Nurgle's Twisted Touch, and Aizen began writhing in pain before dissolving into a green goop.

As Khan finished reading the notice, he began noticing the labored breath of Ichigo Kurosaki as he struggled to stand up. Khan observed Ichigo, his power was also dropping, albeit not as fast as Aizen's. Then he heard Ichigo ask, "Are you going to kill me now?"
When Khan heard that a quick chuckle and said, "We had a deal didn't we, Orihime is free to return to the world of the living whenever she desires, and as an added bonus here are some of your friends back."
Khan pulled Uryu and Chad from his shadow and placed them in front of Ichigo. See his friends alive, he gave a soft smile and promptly passed out.
Before he could pull out Kenpachi, Byakuya, and Renji, Khan heard a voice say, "You know I just can't figure you out." Khan turned to see Kisuke Urahara standing there, his right hand on his cane sword, his left hand adjusting his hat on his head.
