Type-Moon, but the Servant is Tom

Chapter 166: The Girl Who Saves the World!

Unfortunately, no matter how loudly Red Archer cried for help, there was no one coming to rescue him. This desolate corner was unlikely to attract anyone's attention, and even if someone did pass by, they might have lost their points in a bet due to Red Archer's defeat and wouldn't bother saving him. At best, they would probably just walk away without even sparing him a glance.

Even his master, Gudako, wouldn't come to his aid. As far as she was concerned, Red Archer was probably already dead, and there was no reason for her to return to this godforsaken place. Additionally, the area might be infested with "Schrödinger," and Gudako had no intention of going anywhere near that danger.

So, Red Archer could only wallow in his sorrow, stuck in the wretched restroom wall, with no hope of escape.

Meanwhile, Gudako and her party had swiftly departed from that area and were making their way towards the center of the 'EUO Super Deluxe Seaside Paradise,' where Gill was located. However, they didn't go in a straight line; they made a detour to a wig store.

"Hooray! Now I have hair again!" Gudako exclaimed as she touched the orange wig on her head, feeling a subtle sense of security.

Don't ask where the wig came from; let's just say it was "righteously acquired" from a wig store. Being a master, equivalent to a time traveler, Gudako had no petty cash in her bag. So, she couldn't just buy the wig but had to "appropriately acquire" it, or rather, "requisition" it. After all, how could one call the actions of a savior "theft"?

However, Gudako's conscience was clear. She knew very well that she was here to save the world, to be the savior. If she didn't come to rescue this Singularity, it would likely be utterly destroyed, and everything in it would be lost. So, considering the wig as a small upfront cost for her world-saving endeavors, she felt absolutely no guilt.

"Senpai, is it really okay to do this?" Mashu walked alongside Gudako, glancing back nervously at the wig store they were leaving behind, afraid of being caught by the shopkeeper.

"Why wouldn't it be okay, Mashu? You have to understand that we are here to save the world. Considering this as a little interest fee for our world-saving endeavor, what's the problem? There is none!" Gudako confidently reassured Mashu.

Together, they continued their journey towards the center of the Singularity, with Gudako's orange wig billowing in the wind as a symbol of her determination to save the world.

After Gudako confidently assured Mashu that they were indeed saving the world, Mashu couldn't help but feel uncertain. She pointed out that they seemed to be constantly entangled with Schrödinger and the repeated confrontations didn't feel like they were saving the world at all. Moreover, when they first confronted Schrödinger and his group, they had caused massive destruction in Fuyuki City.

However, Gudako firmly insisted that facing Schrödinger head-on was their way of saving the world. She believed that Schrödinger was the main culprit responsible for the world's impending destruction, and in order to save the world and retrieve the Singularity's Holy Grail, they had to overcome this challenge.

Mashu could sense Gudako's seriousness, but she still had doubts. Gudako reassured her, adjusting her wig and maintaining an air of confidence. She mentioned having a plan, but when Mashu asked for details, Gudako drew a blank and admitted that she had forgotten the plan.

This response left Mashu and even Cú Chulainn with puzzled expressions. While Gudako was not the most reliable person, she usually had some sense of direction and purpose. However, her amnesia about the plan was unexpected and worrisome.

As Mashu started to worry, she realized that continuing the conversation might lead to unpredictable outcomes, especially considering Gudako's previous history of selling things without much thought. So, she wisely decided to change the subject before anything else happened that they might regret later.

At that moment, Cú Chulainn decided to speak up boldly, teasing Gudako about her baldness. However, his joke was met with a deadly glare from Gudako, causing him to immediately brake his vehicle and stop laughing. Gudako fixed her wig and approached Cú Chulainn with a seemingly gentle smile, placing her hands on his shoulders.

In a sweet and kind tone, Gudako warned him, "Whoever asks about my baldness will die!"

Terrified by her intense gaze and the prospect of meeting a gruesome end, Cú Chulainn quickly nodded his head repeatedly, signaling his understanding. Gudako seemed satisfied with his response and lightly patted his shoulders before turning to continue their journey towards the center of the amusement park.

Cú Chulainn, who relied on his three innate survival skills, had never felt such a murderous aura before. He realized that Gudako had probably meant that if he dared to bring up the topic of her baldness again, he would transform from Cú Chulainn to "Cú Chulainn-chan" . The implication was clear – asking about her baldness was strictly forbidden.

Feeling a sense of relief after narrowly escaping an unpleasant fate, Cú Chulainn rubbed his shoulders, which were almost crushed by Gudako's grip, and pushed aside the fear that had overtaken him. He then quickened his pace to catch up with Gudako and continued their journey towards the "EUO Super Deluxe Seaside Paradise."
