The thought of delivering Kushina to their superiors filled him with glee.

"If we succeed, Konoha will bleed to get her back!"

"Stop at nothing! Secure the Jinchūriki!"

Though heavily outnumbered, the mercenaries fought with suicidal ferocity, determined to buy time and achieve their objective.

A furious voice rang out as the ground cracked beneath the force of an impact. Dust and debris flew into the air as a golden-haired figure descended onto the battlefield.

"Tsunade!"

"It's Konoha's Tsunade! But wasn't she at the command post?"

The mercenaries' confidence wavered as Tsunade appeared, flanked by a squad of masked ANBU.

From the opposite end of the bridge, a chorus of panicked screams erupted.

"Snakes! They're everywhere!"

Dense clusters of venomous snakes slithered from the forest, striking fear into the enemy ranks.

Then came a chilling, raspy voice:

"It seems I arrived just in time."

From the shadows emerged Orochimaru, accompanied by a force of thirty Konoha ninjas. The serpentine menace grinned wickedly, his presence amplifying the dread in the enemy's hearts.

"Yes! Reinforcements are here!"

Konoha's forces erupted into cheers, while the mercenaries descended into chaos. Their leaders, pale and grim, quickly assessed the situation.

"We've been duped! It's a trap!"

"Retreat immediately! We have to break through!"

The enemy's morale crumbled as the truth became clear. From the start, this mission had been a carefully laid snare.

Using misinformation planted by Konoha's spies, the Lightning Country mercenaries had been lured into an ambush. Jiraiya's convoy was the bait, while Tsunade and Orochimaru's forces executed a deadly pincer attack.

This operation had been planned to annihilate the infamous Lightning Country mercenary force—a move Konoha had long awaited.

Before the Konoha forces could capitalize on their advantage, a monstrous roar shook the battlefield.

Kushina's body pulsed with violent energy as her third chakra tail lashed the air. Before anyone could react, a fourth tail began to form, the crimson aura intensifying to an almost blinding degree.

On the Konoha side, Tsunade's face darkened. She had anticipated Kushina's rage, but not this.

"Tsunade!"

Orochimaru's cold, decisive voice cut through the commotion. Their decades of teamwork needed no elaboration.

"All units, fall back to a safe zone!" Tsunade ordered immediately.

But before the evacuation could commence, Kushina let out a feral howl and disappeared in a blur of red.

"She's charging at the mercenaries!"

Consumed by her seething hatred

, Kushina—now nearly unrecognizable—hurtled toward the retreating enemies with devastating speed.

Her target was clear: annihilation.
