[Last night's event match was insane!]

Who would have thought that the event's night match from last night would be so fun to watch.
Sucks for those who participated for that time though lol. They got annihilated by the Umbra Witch without mercy.

I won't lie. As one of those players who participated in that match, the Umbra Witch raid boss was terrifying. But man was it also a blast! I joined expecting a PUBG type scenario and ended up facing a Zerg rush instead with random people.

Don't get me wrong, the battle royale was fun too. But fighting an army of my worst nightmares was just on a whole other level.

But in case you're too lazy to read through the entire thread: Basically right after the event's fourth match from last night, a lot of guys from the community went into a big discussion about Yoru and her brokenness in the game. Some were complaining about the bullcrap she'd pulled. Some were stanning her. Some were being trolls towards others.
But in the end, they all (most actually) agreed that Yoru at that moment was more of an unofficial raid boss than a regular player herself. And since the Umbra Lords in the game are all supposedly going to be raid bosses, the community decided to call her the first Umbra Lord unofficially, giving her the title of "Umbra Witch". (Combined from "Umbra Lord" and that one time Jael called her "Witch".)

Yoru got banned from the event. Not only that, but Zanny too for the same reason! Bruh... They literally banned the two strongest players from their event for being too good at the game.

But man was it hilarious when Zanny flipped out on his stream when he'd realised that he couldn't participate.

I was right next to Yoru when she reacted. She was pretty chill with it actually. She just said "Oh. I guess I'll do some house chores then." and logged out after spending all of her event points on the event shop.

Also, can someone tell me who were the winners for the matches today? I'm guessing it's probably going to either be Red or Sindri now that Yoru and Zanny can't participate.

No kidding, bro. For the first match in the morning, Red and Sindri were unfortunate enough to have their spawn point be close to each other. So they ended up clashing against one another which resulted in a draw between those two.
The winner of that match ended up being Red's maid, Sayaka, who mercilessly eliminated her opponents.
She's not Yoru, but I would let her step on me too.
As for the second match in the afternoon, the map that got chosen had monsters which were hard counters to Red and the kid got killed by them in the end. His maid, Sayaka, got defeated too by the monsters not long after. Which allowed Sindri to be one of the last players standing.
But because she had teamed up with a friend at that time, they ended up duking it out and surprisingly that friend of hers bested her. He's a Lizardman named Andre with a dapper sense of fashion.
And for the third match in the evening, it somehow turned into a civil war with the Red Legion against the rest of the participating players including Sindri and Andre. By some incredible stroke of luck, however, a Dog-type Beastman boy named Yura ended up as the last survivor of that war. Making him the winner.

Honestly, after reading the post above, I'd rather have someone else be the winner. Red and Sindri have already won a match of their own yesterday after all.

Sindri got ambushed by Sayaka, who then got killed by Andre, who then got pummeled into the ground by Red, who then suddenly disconnected from the game, leaving his Legion in disarray.

No. I think it's because of lightning. The news channel this evening predicted that a heavy storm may occur tonight.
I'm guessing a blackout hit wherever Red lives which caused his Dive Gear's emergency function to kick in and forced logout his butt from the game. Which probably means that Sayaka should have been logged out as well.

That's gotta suck. Good thing that the Dive Gears got an emergency function installed for these types of situations, otherwise many of us would have been SAO'd or worse.

Yeah. Got to thank the creators of the Dive Gear for making sure it's user-friendly before releasing it. One of my biggest fears at that time was being trapped in a virtual death game.
