ALL NOVEL Chapter 8 [oh no]
"Are you sure that we'll be fine, I heard some dungeons have a level associated with them" I said
"that will be the case if someone already great this dungeon first but this dungeon is undiscovered, so we'll be able to clear it as long as we fight well together" Nathan answered
This statement confuse me a bit so I asked him again.
"How does this dungeon being undiscovered make us able to clear it "
"when the dungeon is undiscovered the dungeon will change its difficulty setting according to the player or party that goes in it at that moment, and when the player or party clears that dungeon the dungeon will change to a fixed difficult setting"
'ohh that made sense pretty clever for thereof team'
"that made sense alright let's finish this dungeon "
[are you sure that you want to enter the dungeon <forgoten temple of Elera> failure will make you respawn in the last town you've been {yes}{no}]
"yes" me and Nathan answered the system
And after that, the door slowly opens showing us the inside of the dungeon
In front of us, there's a chamber maybe a safe room containing a well in the middle of it and a small little lake at the edge of the room, in one of the sides of the room there are 2 doors.
We open one of the doors and see that the room is connected to the door is the same as the other door the difference is that the door is leading to a different side of the room.
The room is a pretty big square room but there's a wall that divided it in half and a lever at both halves.
"it seems that to descend to the next floor will have to pull both the lever or pull both at the same time," I said
"it sure looks like I'll take the left," Nathan said
"then I'll take the right"
I stepped to the right door and go slowly to the edge being careful of the possibility of traps.
When I'm in the middle of the way to the edge I sense something coming to me so I lie down trying to dodge whatever coming at me, it turns out a horizontal laser just passes above me.
"that was close"
In front of me then appear more lasers that block my way to the lever fortunately those lasers are not forming a complete wall meaning I can slip through them if I'm flexible enough or just use my barrier skill.
There are 2 sets of lasers the first is just forming two lines that move around and the second is making a more complicated pattern.
I can pass the two patterns easily due to it being dumb easy but what I didn't expect is that there's the third set.
After I pass the second set of lasers I go further to the edge but then I sense something again, lasers and I'm right in the middle of its trajectory
"what"
Right before the lasers appear I do a backflip to dodge it
"Hua" I do the backflip and I manage to dodge the lasers "aha I did i- oh shit"
The lasers start to move
"it moves" panicking again I do a backflip and somehow dodged all the lasers
"how can I do that wtf," I said surprising myself
After I calmed myself down a little I then continue going to the lever
"it seems that there are no traps left," I thought
When I tried to pull the lever lasers again appears from the other edge of the room.
"oh, heck with this I'm tired of this [barrier]" I created a barrier in a form of a half dome that covers me and the lever.
Thankfully the barrier can block the lasers from contact with me so I pulled the lever.
Right after I pulled the lever the wall that separate the room suddenly descend making a stair down to the floor below.
"Hello Nathan " I greet Nathan
"yo how's your side " he replied back
"pretty much full of laser traps " I answered "how bout you "
"same thing but instead of layers it's just fire breath" he answered
"ohh it must be hot," I said
" Trust me I'm hotter"
"pff shut up, let's go below and see what lies below us "
"yes let's go "
We both then go down the stairs

"hey don't you think that this stair goes down a long way," I said.
"yea I think so but oh well too late to go back" Nathan answered.

"my leg is starting to hurt, " I said
"Want me to carry you " Nathan replied back
"No why would I " I answered
"I'm just offering" Nathan answered back

"huf huf how can you still go on my leg is dying, "I said to Nathan
Hearing that Nathan goes to me and then takes my leg and carries me (Princess carry I might add )
"Hey who permitted you to carry me," I said surprised by his act
"stop willing around we might fall," he said ignoring my statement
"fine but if we fall you're the one to blame "

A little while later we finally get to the room the stairway leads to.
Nathan put me down and I look around us
"I don't know if we can even call this a room," I said
"yea this place is just too big and too tall to call a room " Nathan answered
"look there's a shrine in the middle"
The room we are in is a big room that has 1 big ball on every edge of the room the shape of the room is a big square and the size of it is like 4 Olympic football fields in length wide and tall, in another word it's big.
We got to the front of the altar(shrine) and see a system notification
[if you're reading this then it means you pass the first and second trials ]
'trials do they mean the lever and long ass stair, I don't think those can even be called a trial " I thought
[now to start the third or the last trial you need to insert your mana and blood into this altar, depending on your heritage the difficulty of the last trial will be set accordingly]
"oh no," I said
"wait why do you said that what will happen" Nathan ask
"listen this will be difficult" I answered
