Wandering in Omniverse

Ch 50 – Display of Power

Jason had already reached the place a few minutes ago and enjoyed a good show.

Woo Jin-Chul found it strange that he didn't try to participate in the battle and simply stood by, so he quickly walked up next to him.

And it was at that point he got to see clearly the situation inside the boss's room.

"This…. What is this?"

Soldiers wearing jet-black armor were one-sidedly massacring the supposedly powerful monsters, also known as High Orc warriors.

"K-kuwaaahk!!"

"Kiiahk!"

"Kueehhk!!"

The pitiful screams of the High Orcs even managed to deafen Woo Jin-Chul's hearing.

"Ah, you finally caught up."

"Ah, yes... but, what are they? They don't seem to be simple monsters…."

"They... they are his summons."

Woo Jin-Chul quickly took his sunglasses off and stared at Jin-Woo, now standing in the middle of the battlefield. While wielding two shortswords that looked like daggers, he was busy destroying the formation of the High Orcs.

'No matter how I see it, doesn't he look like a top-ranked melee-type Hunter?'

However, he could even use summoning magic, too.

And, sure enough…

When Jin-Woo's lips moved a little, dozens more summons rose up from the ground.
"Oh, my god!"

Woo Jin-Cheol's jaw fell to the floor.

Just how many summonses could that man control?!

'This… this is the true ability of Hunter Seong Jin-Woo….'

He couldn't close shut his slack jaw at all.

"Do you still think he needs any assistance?" Jason asked jokingly.

"No!" Jin-Chul shook his head and laughed lightly. It didn't look like others' help was necessary.

This would be his first time witnessing Hunter Seong Jin-Woo's true skill.

Jason waited patiently before the fight was over and Jin-Woo killed the Shaman.

"Hahaha... you really are my brother. What a fight, man!" Jason's figure blurred and he appeared near him before he extended his fist for a fist bump.

Jin-Woo smiled, "You're late, Hyung-nim."

Woo Jin-Chul was shocked. He was unable to follow Jason's movements.

'Isn't he standing beside me just now? Just when...'

"Let's wrap it up quickly," Jason suggested.

Jin-Woo nodded and issued a new order at the rising, wavering black steamlike smoke.
"Rise up."

Kuwaaaahhh!!

As the soul-tearing scream resounded out, a mage covered in a black robe rose up from the shadow of the dead Shaman.

After Jin-Woo stored his soldiers, Jason asked, "You took 50. What about the remaining hundred?"

"I don't have the space for them."

"Alright then." Jason smiled and a large black shadow spread in the entire boss's room before he issued an order.

"Arise!"

Kuwaahh!!

With many screams, hundreds of High Orcs' shadows rose from the dead bodies.

"Let's get out of here now." He also stored them before saying to Jin-Woo.

"Mister Porter?!"

But before they could leave, the hunter's raid team members called out to JinWoo.

Woo Jin-Chul was the first to react. He quickly walked right up to Jin-Woo's side, pulled out his identification card, and displayed it proudly for all to see.

"We're from the Association's Monitoring Division."

It was only for a brief moment, but a hint of nervousness flashed past the expressions of the Paradise Guild members.

Woo Jin-Chul seized upon this chance and carried on with what he wanted to say.

"The identity of Sung Jin-Woo Hunter-nim is being strictly guarded by the Association. It is highly classified information that cannot be revealed publicly."

Jason nearly laughed out loud. He whispered to Jin-Chul. "We'll see you tomorrow at the association."

"Huh? What do you..." He turned around but Jason and Jin-Woo had already disappeared

...

Plop!

Jason and Jin-Woo reached home and sat down on the sofa before laughing out loud.

"Hyun-nim, you shouldn't have done that to Chief Woo Jin-Chul?" Jin-Woo wiped the teardrop from his eyes that appeared because of smiling so much

"Oh shut up. Tell me, isn't it worth it? His face at that time was worth a million won!" Jason remembered Jin-Chul's dumbfounded face and couldn't help but laugh again.

"So... what should we do now?" After a few minutes, they calmed down and Jin-Woo asked him.

"What do you mean by that? After tomorrow, you'll be an official S-rank."

"Well, now... there is nothing special feeling. Maybe your aura has rubbed on me too and I want to live a carefree and fun life like you."
Jason smiled and patted his head. "Then live it. Never listen to anyone. Always follow your heart. And the most important thing, always have fun!"

"Yes, Sir!" Jin-Woo seemed very happy.

"Oh yeah, we'll still have to clear the Demon's Castle. Don't forget that?"

"I won't." A determination flashed in Jin-Woo's eyes.

"Oh yeah, didn't you have a meeting with Jin-Ho? Aren't you going?" Jason suddenly remembered about it and told him.

Jin-Woo sighed and said, "I can't today. I have an appointment with Joohee."

"Ohh... you guys seem to make progress." Jason teased.

"It's nothing like that, Hyun-nim." Jin-Woo's face turned red.

"Yeah, yeah. So, what about the little guy?" Jason asked.

"Hyung, why don't you go in my place?" Jin-Woo suggested.

"Me? But he wanted to talk something important with you." Jason knew what the little guy wanted to talk about with Jin-Woo. He wanted Jin-Woo to give Jin-Ho an answer himself.

"Pretty please... Please do it for your little brother!" Jin-Woo requested.

"Okay, fine." Jason sighed and agreed.

Shu, shu, fuu, fuu….

Yoo Jin-Ho did his very best to maintain his calm by breathing in deeply several times, just like how he saw it in one of the movies.

'My fated hour is approaching.'

Ringgg….

Along with the doorbell, someone entered the cafe.

Jin-Ho raised his head and saw Jason. He raised from his seat and spoke with a puzzled expression.

"H-Hyung-nim?!"

Jason also discovered Jin-Ho and walked toward him.

"Sorry, little guy but that idiot suddenly had an important meeting so he sent me here in his place. I hope you don't mind."

"No, no, Hyung-nim." Jin-Ho hurriedly said.

Jason smiled and said, "Relax. So, how did the negotiations go with your father?"

"Hyung-nim, actually…."

Jin-Ho didn't leave anything out and reported everything that happened during the negotiation with his father to him.

Jason listened to everything patiently and said after he finished.

"So, for you to become YooJin Guild's Guildmaster, you need Jin-Woo's help. Is that right?"

Jin-Ho nodded his head. He was definitely thinking of leaving everything to Jin-Woo's decision.

Jason smiled and said to Jin-Ho. "Jin-Ho, what do you think about me?"

"Huh?" Jin-Ho was taken aback by this sudden question. He stared at him for a few seconds before replying. "Well, I don't know much about you. But Hyungnim respects you very much, so I do too."

Jason's smile widened when he heard the little guy's reply and said.

"Jinho, you told me everything clearly, so I'll be also honest with you, okay?"

"Yes, Hyung-nim."

"Actually, I am..."
