Chapter 5: Chapter 5: The World Changes

---

Hydra POV

Deep in the shadows of a hidden Hydra bunker, a group of high-ranking operatives gathered around a dimly lit table. Holographic images flickered above the table, showing live footage of recent battles involving the Avengers.

"Subject: Goku," one operative said, his voice tinged with frustration. "Two years under SHIELD oversight, and his power remains unchecked. Even Thor doesn't operate with this level of autonomy."

Another operative sneered. "He's a weapon they don't fully understand. But weapons can be studied, replicated… or turned."

The head of the meeting, a grim-faced man with a scar running down his cheek, tapped a button on the table. The footage shifted to a battle in Eastern Europe where Goku dismantled Hydra forces with ease.

"This… Saiyan," the man said, almost spitting the word. "He is unlike anything we've faced. But every being has a weakness. We need to find his and exploit it."

A younger operative hesitated. "What if he's truly loyal to the Avengers? If he's not a threat, why—"

"Because power like his can never be ignored," the scarred man snapped. "He's a god among mortals. And gods… gods fall."

The room fell silent as the operatives began drafting plans to learn more about Goku—his origins, his weaknesses, and how Hydra could use him to their advantage.

---

Goku POV

Two years had passed, and Goku's life on Earth had become surprisingly peaceful. He was officially recognized as an Avenger, though his missions were infrequent. Much of his time was spent working for Tony Stark, serving as his bodyguard and occasional sparring partner.

Goku enjoyed the work. It paid well, and Tony's sarcastic humor always made the job entertaining. The billionaire even introduced him to Earth's modern luxuries: pizza, video games, and amusement parks. For someone who'd spent most of his life in the disciplined confines of K'un-Lun, it was a refreshing change.

He lived in a penthouse near Stark Tower, a modest space Tony insisted on paying for. It gave Goku a comfortable place to relax and train in peace.

Life was good.

But as Goku stared out at the city one night, a nagging feeling tugged at the edge of his thoughts. "It's too quiet," he murmured. "The world needs… something more."

---

Daniel POV

From his cosmic perch, Daniel grinned. Watching Goku's peaceful life unfold had been amusing, but the time for quiet was over. He opened the World Creation System, his fingers itching to make a change.

"It's time to spice things up," Daniel muttered, scrolling through the system's options. "Let's add… Pokémon."

He paused for a moment, imagining how it would work. The collision of two universes—the Marvel Earth and the Pokémon world—had to feel natural. He modified the history of the Marvel world subtly, implanting the idea of the event as inevitable into the minds of the Ancient One and Odin.

---

Change Log:

World Merge: Pokémon world fused with Earth. Landscapes expanded to accommodate Pokémon habitats.

Earth Size Increase: Earth's size increased to that of Saturn, with new regions and terrains emerging.

Population Increase: Pokémon population integrated seamlessly, doubling Earth's life forms.

Pokémon Integration: Pokémon appeared naturally within their habitats. Cities remained unaffected by the changes.

Historical Adjustment: Ancient myths and prophecies altered to include the merging of worlds as a predestined event.

---

Daniel clicked "Confirm," and the transformation began.

---

The Merge

It started as a faint shimmer in the night sky. Across the globe, people looked up to see the stars shift and dance. Then came the tremors—not destructive, but enough to make people uneasy.

When the tremors subsided, the world was… different.

---

Reactions Across the World

---

Goku POV

Goku woke to the sound of birds chirping. But as he opened his window, he froze. The Manhattan skyline was the same, but beyond it stretched a vast forest, its trees unlike any he'd seen. Creatures darted through the foliage—some resembling animals, others entirely foreign.

"What… is this?" Goku murmured, sensing the massive surge of life energy across the planet.

---

Tony Stark POV

Tony Stark stood on the balcony of Stark Tower, a cup of coffee in his hand. His AI, FRIDAY, displayed a map of the newly expanded Earth.

"Boss," FRIDAY said, "Earth's diameter has increased by 700%. New landmasses have appeared across the globe. And… well, you should see this."

A hologram displayed a close-up of Central Park, where a flock of Pidgey and Spearow flitted through the trees.

Tony blinked. "Are those… giant birds?"

"They match no known species," FRIDAY replied. "They're being reported worldwide."

Tony sighed. "Great. Just when things were getting boring."

---

Ancient One POV

In Kamar-Taj, the Ancient One meditated, her mind immersed in the threads of reality. The merge had not been a surprise to her—it had always been part of the greater tapestry.

"This was meant to happen," she murmured, the vision of two universes colliding playing out in her mind. "But why now?"

She sensed a guiding hand behind the event, one not of her world. A faint smile crossed her lips. "Interesting."

---

Odin POV

In Asgard, Odin stood on the balcony of the palace, his gaze fixed on the shimmering bifrost that connected the Nine Realms. The changes to Midgard were profound, but they did not alarm him.

"The collision of worlds," he mused. "An event foretold in the Scrolls of Yggdrasil. Midgard will endure, as it always has."

---

Steve Rogers POV

Steve Rogers jogged through Washington, D.C., his daily routine interrupted by the sight of a strange creature perched on a park bench. The small, yellow rodent-like creature tilted its head, sparks crackling from its red cheeks.

"Uh… hello?" Steve said cautiously.

The creature responded with a cheerful "Pika!"

Steve frowned, pulling out his phone. "Tony, we have a situation."

---

The Avengers Assemble

The Avengers gathered at Stark Tower, the air thick with confusion.

"What the hell is going on?" Natasha demanded. "There are giant lizards in Central Park."

"It's not just Central Park," Bruce said. "It's everywhere. The entire planet has changed."

"It's not an invasion," Thor said, stroking his chin. "These creatures feel… natural."

Goku stepped forward, his expression serious. "Whatever's happening, it's big. I can feel it—the energy of the planet has doubled overnight."

Tony leaned back in his chair. "So, what? We just accept that the world's turned into a Pokémon theme park?"

"Until we understand it," Steve said, "we treat it like any other crisis. Investigate, adapt, and protect the people."

The team nodded in agreement, ready to face the new reality.

---

Daniel POV

From his perch, Daniel watched with satisfaction as the Avengers scrambled to adapt to their new world.

"This is going to be fun," he said with a grin. "Let's see how they handle Pokémon."
