Yandere Ojou-sama!

Chapter 12- About working place!

Chapter:12

Arthur's school of Erudite.

An education settlement situated in the heart of Japan, Tokyo, has been founded by Sir Arthur Cartbridge in the year 1960 and has been providing services ever since.

Comes in the top 3 three of international ranking and has phenomenal results regarding the prodigies who graduate from this particular institution.

Apart from the unique criteria of enrollment, there are several activities in which the school invests its students in order to develop them in the best possible way.

Starting this week, Akira would be in her third year, and being on the highest command one student could strive for, that is Student Council President, she requires constant assistance.

And that assistance would be a responsibility delegated to the newly employed butler.

A bitter truth but a fact nevertheless.

Haruto knew his limitation and by learning the prestige that the academy holds, he was sure that by no means he could get admitted without spending a whole lot of sum.

He might have been surprised to hear that Akira was the student council president in such a competitive place if he hasn’t known her in the past. He had spent a decent time with Akira, observing her, and Haruto knew what a brilliant mind she possesses.
She’s just....the perfect human being Haruto has ever come across.

“It will take time but you have to make sure your progress doesn’t stagnate. I want you to cope with the class enough to plant you inside the student council. And thereafter, you can actively serve young ladies without letting others know. “

Now, that made Haruto quite troubled and anxious at the same time.
He knew his duty in the school was not to enjoy his youth and make friends. But still to get back into shape and not fall behind those elite students was something that sent a shiver down his spine.

But he masked his inner turmoil, or he tried, as he noted down the key points in his notebook while he heard Minami continuing.

“Other than enrolling you in the school and providing you with a new identity, everything else would entirely depend on you. I expect you to join the council within the first two weeks after the orientation. Don’t fail me, understood?”

Haruto took a sharp breath with a slight frown on his head but he knew it was something he was meant to do even if it sounded borderline impossible.
Without making the older lady wait longer, he nodded, “I will try my best.”

------------
After some more instruction, Minami left the whiteboard as it was as per Haruto’s request when she prepared to leave.
Suddenly she remembered something as the glasses-adorning beauty turned toward the boy, startling the latter in the process.
“And one last thing.”

Haruto hurriedly returned the notebook back on his lap and turned toward the lady before nodding to continue.

“There will be some students who might target you for those reasons which I don’t find any need to clarify.”

Haruto wasn’t surprised or baffled by such a revelation since he knew how high-class people love to slander those who are different from them. How could he not know since he himself was somewhat like those?

He knew ever since he agreed to serve Akira that the path wouldn’t be all rosy and he has to face thorns as well. And honestly, Haruto didn’t feel much of the warning Minami conveyed.
Putting the notebook back he raised to his feet as with a respectful bow, Haruto spoke in a warm tone.

“Thanks you, Minami-san. You have been a great help.”
The older woman looked at the boy for a longer time than she intended, recalling the past in that brief moment before she shook her head and wordlessly left the room.

--------------------------------------
The next day, after the morning session which Haruto has began to get a hang of, he jogged back to his room in order to prepare for school.

His injuries had been healed as well which helped him push forward passing each day. He was surprised that Minami wasn’t increasing his training module drastically. She is just taking it slow enough for him to follow without straining him like the first day.

He was instructed by the head maid to report near the main entrance before eight and currently, it was only six thirty.

Generally, all the servants take their meals together but since Haruto needs to hurry in the morning, his breakfast has been delivered to his room.

After taking a thorough shower and cleaning each segment of his body, Haruto walked out while wearing a bathrobe.
There was toast, poached eggs, diced fruits, date palms and some other dry fruits, and a glass of juice.

It was more than enough for his breakfast but as Minami told him, breakfast was the most important meal of the day and in a servant’s life it matters the most to eat when they have a chance. Might he not be able to have anything for lunch so Haruto devoured everything and went to change his clothes nearly at quarter to eight.

A black shirt along with the same shade of formal trousers and grey blazer with black encircles pattern near the cuffs and the crest of the school on the left side of the chest. There was a grey tie as well as a pair of black formal shoes which looked extremely good with the narrow-ankle pants.

“Damn…I look good…”

Checking himself in the mirror once again and arranging his hair he took the bag from his table before walking to his door.

Turning back to the place where he has been spending most of his time the past seven days, he smiled before his heartfelt words followed.
“I will be going.”
