YIN-YANG DEVOURER

Cruel reality (1)

"Boooom" "Keep shooting! That matrix will not take long to fall…"

The sounds of explosions echoed from a nearby hill, surrounding the hill were a large number of cultivators with evil expressions on their faces. They watched impatiently as the defensive array surrounding the hill began to crack as the attacks passed.

"Booom" Another shot from a huge crossbow hit the defensive array hard, making it shake as small cracks began to form on its surface.

"Today will be the day when these bastards from the Three Swords Sect will finally be annihilated once and for all." At the head of the army was a tough-looking man who watched the entire scene in front of him with a pleasant smile. .

This man was Lawrence Wildof, his identity was that of the Purple Mountain Sect Leader. The Purple Mountain Sect was one of the powers in the region, having contested supremacy of the area for hundreds of years, along with the Three Swords Sect. Finally today he could put an end to this rivalry that had cost his Sect so many lives.

"I see that your mood is good, Sect Leader… But let me remind you that we are here for our loot" A middle-aged man said at this time in an indifferent manner.

"I know… Your men are worthy of their reputation… They will naturally be rewarded for their achievements" Sect Leader Lawrence said without caring in the slightest about the man's interruption.

The man who interrupted the Sect leader was: Aaron Vir, his identity was none other than the Commander-in-Chief of a Band of Blood Wolves. They were the mercenaries who had fought in this conflict on the side of the Purple Mountain Sect. Naturally, as mercenaries, financial benefits were the only thing that kept these men motivated in this battle.

"Sir, a couple more shots and the defensive array will finally fall," said one of the disciples to Sect Master Lawrence, who nodded his head in a calm manner, however, his hands rubbing against each other betrayed his calm facade.

"Tell young Jakob to prepare his men." At that moment, Commander Aaron also began to distribute orders among his men, for what would be the final assault.

"Captain! The men are ready!" A woman's pleasant voice echoed outside the defensive array where a group of heavily armed soldiers were waiting patiently for the defensive array to collapse.

"Excellent... Tell the boys that my orders do not change" said at that moment a man who was standing on a rock while he calmly watched as the disciples of the Three Swords Sect made a desperate attempt to repair the Defensive Array.

The man was quite tall and had a muscular body, he was combed with a ponytail, while on his body he wore black armor with a golden cape that made him look quite heroic. In his hands was a spear as black as the night which was stuck deep in the ground awaiting the long-awaited battle.

Anyone who saw this young man would have to admit that he was extremely attractive, however, his most notable feature would undoubtedly be his pair of golden eyes that seemed to belong to a true deity…

"Captain Jakob"

"But the Sect leader told us that we should attack the west wing of the wall" said one of the Purple Mountain Sect Elders at that time. They were here to act as reinforcement for the forces of that young man named Jakob.

"I know, old man..."

"We will simply take a shortcut to minimize our casualties" the young captain said with a smile.

"Lira… it's time" Without anyone noticing, the young man had sent a spiritual transmission to his lieutenant.

"Understood, Ruvan."

"I say Captain~" A cheerful voice echoed in his mind.

"Arrghhh" "Arrghh" "Argghh" "Argghhh" "Arghhh" Five moans echoed behind Ruvan, he didn't have to turn around to know that they belonged to the five Elders sent by the Purple Mountain Sect.

"These whips are impressive…" said at that moment a woman of average height and a quite attractive and, above all, toned body; Her hair was black and her eyes were a pleasant red; Her skin had a fairly healthy wheatish tone. This girl's most distinctive feature was undoubtedly a small horizontal scar that ran across her nose, giving a unique touch to her appearance.

This girl's name was Lira and she was Ruvan's current lieutenant and second-hand. She was basically his right hand and most trusted person, so the conversations between the two were quite informal and relaxed.

At the girl's feet were five completely unconscious Elders... Foam was coming out of their mouths. The cause of the deplorable state of the Elders was the whips attached to their ankles, small electrical currents were released from the whips.

"Hahahaha, now that we have solved the problems, let's go back to our initial plan…" Ruvan said with a smile.

"According to the map we should be able to find the escape tunnels in this direction" Lira said with a smile as she pointed to a fairly detailed map of the Three Swords Sect grounds.

"It's fortunate that the Elders we captured earlier were kind enough to cooperate" Ruvan said with a smile.

"The Captain was quite cruel with his torture methods," Lira said in a reprimanding tone.

"Hahaha says it the one who happily follows my orders" Ruvan sneered at which Lira could simply stick out her tongue.

"I'm sure Captain Wiltord will have a lot to say about our actions" Lira said with a mischievous smile.

"Captain Wiltord should be more concerned about his wife than what we do on the battlefield" The expression on Ruvan's face at that moment was a mix between evil and mockery...

"I'm sure Captain Wiltord would tear his skin off if he knew that YOU are the one who keeps his wife company on the cold winter nights," Lira said with a smile.

"Hahaha, it's not my fault that he's the one who neglects his wife... After all, a woman needs her man to be full of affection" Ruvan said with a smile as he began to walk towards where his soldiers were.

"The Captain is very right about that," Lira said with a smile as she diligently followed Ruvan.

Finally the two arrived in front of a group of thirty people who were fully armed to the teeth. All of these men wore black painted armor while golden cloaks dressed them elegantly. On his chest area he could see the design of a golden lightning bolt; this unique looking symbol seemed to be a display of pride and identity for this group of soldiers compared to the rest of the mercenary battalions…

Ruvan finally rode a huge green snake; the snake had blood red eyes while its scales were thick and terrifying. The soldiers did not seem to be affected by the presence of this beast but the significant distance they kept from the snake was quite noticeable.

"Today we will have some fun Viridis" Ruvan said with a smile as he stroked his mount's head a couple of times.

"Ssss" The snake seemed to enjoy it as it stuck out its tongue.

"Well guys, it looks like the fun is about to begin… Are you ready?" Ruvan asked with a smile to which the rest of the soldiers responded with excitement.

"We are ready Captain!"

"Today we will bathe those bastards in their own blood." Excited shouts arose from the men who seemed quite confident in their victory.

"Crack" At that moment the sound of an explosion rang out. Seconds after the Matrix finally collapsed, leaving the way clear for the invaders.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!!" Ruvan shouted as he ran forward riding his huge green snake, behind him were Lira and his thirty soldiers who did not hesitate for a second to follow him.
