As The Only Mutant in Marvel

Chapter 19: Chapter 19: Exaggeration! Conjure A Suit Of Vibranium Armor!

Nick Fury sat in his office, staring at the files on his desk. His one good eye lingered on the reports about the recent incidents involving the Inhumans. He tapped his fingers against the desk, deep in thought.

"Inhumans… what exactly are you planning?"

Despite his years of experience and vast network of intelligence, Fury still knew surprisingly little about this mysterious group.

Except for a handful of isolated encounters, the Inhumans had always kept themselves hidden from the public eye.

But now, something had changed.

They were suddenly appearing more frequently, causing disturbances and making waves.

"What's their endgame?" Fury muttered to himself.

The sudden emergence of these Inhumans made him uneasy.

For someone like Fury, who thrived on having control and being prepared, this unknown factor was deeply unsettling.

He couldn't shake the thought that these people—who operated outside his authority—might be capable of triggering a catastrophe at any moment.

But Fury didn't have time to dwell on the Inhumans for long.

There were bigger issues brewing within S.H.I.E.L.D. itself.

Recently, he'd begun to suspect the presence of double agents within the organization.

He wasn't certain who they were, but his gut told him that there were more than just a few.

Worst of all, Fury had started to question whether HYDRA, the organization they thought was long gone, might still be operating from the shadows.

What Fury didn't know, however, was that S.H.I.E.L.D. had already been completely infiltrated by HYDRA.

The only part of the organization untouched by their influence was the newly formed Avengers team—though even that was by luck rather than design.

To address the growing threats, Fury had come up with a new plan.

He needed a small, off-the-books team to handle sensitive tasks that S.H.I.E.L.D. couldn't openly address.

And he already had a few candidates in mind.

Meanwhile, Lance had just teleported back home, carrying a black travel bag that he'd taken from the two Inhumans he'd fought earlier.

He set the bag down on the table with a thud, unzipped it, and peered inside.

"Let's see what's so special about you."

Inside, Lance found an assortment of metal objects—cubes, shards, and even an old-looking metal armguard.

The bag was surprisingly heavy, weighing around forty or fifty pounds in total.

"No wonder those two were after this."

Lance reached in and pulled out one of the metal cubes.

It was dense—much heavier than it looked—and had a smooth, metallic sheen.

"What kind of metal is this?"

Lance turned the cube over in his hands but couldn't figure it out.

He didn't have the tools or knowledge to analyze it, so he moved on to the other items.

The remaining metals weren't as heavy, but each had its own unique characteristics.

Finally, Lance picked up the old armguard and examined it closely.

It was lightweight, surprisingly so for a piece of armor.

Setting it down, he noticed several research documents stuffed into the bottom of the bag.

Flipping through the pages, Lance found descriptions of each metal.

The first entry described the cube as "Exar Metal."

It had an incredibly high melting point—over 500,000 degrees—and was three times stronger than steel.

"So it's basically heat-resistant supermetal?"

Lance glanced back at the cube, impressed but unsure of its practical uses.

Next, he read about a shard of Uru metal, the same material used to forge Thor's hammer, Mjolnir.

The notes claimed it was more durable than Vibranium and highly resistant to magic.

"Too bad it's just a fragment."

Lance shook his head, knowing it was nearly impossible to melt or reshape Uru metal without something like a neutron star.

He continued reading, learning about the remaining metals until he reached the notes about the armguard.

His eyes widened.

"Vibranium?"

He picked up the armguard again, now realizing why it felt so light.

"No wonder."

A sudden idea struck him.

"Wait a second."

Lance slipped the armguard onto his arm. It was slightly loose but still fit well enough.

Then he activated his cross-dressing ability.

The armguard began to transform.

The metal stretched and extended, wrapping around his arm and then spreading across his body.

Within seconds, Lance was covered head to toe in Vibranium armor.

The transformation took about ten seconds to complete.

Looking into a nearby mirror, Lance admired his new look.

The sleek, silver-gray armor gleamed under the light, making him look like a futuristic soldier or a robot straight out of a sci-fi movie.

To avoid suffocating, Lance left the headpiece partially open, replacing it with a mask woven from Vibranium threads.

"Unbelievable."

He flexed his arms and moved around, testing the armor's flexibility.

Despite its metallic appearance, it was surprisingly easy to move in.

"This ability just keeps surprising me."

Lance couldn't believe that his cross-dressing ability was capable of transforming a simple armguard into a full suit of Vibranium armor.

It took longer to activate than normal clothing changes, but the result was worth it.

"With this, even bullets won't be a problem."

Lance couldn't help but laugh.

This ability, which had seemed more like a gimmick at first, had turned out to be one of his most versatile tools.

And now, with a Vibranium suit at his disposal, Lance felt more prepared than ever to face whate
