Tony flew arrived at the Stark tower where he saw the massive device placed atop his building alongside the doctor.
"Dr. Seilveig you mind turning it off" Tony tried to persuade him but Loki's control on him was too strong, making up his mind Tony decided to go for Loki instead.
Flying a bit lower Tony laid eyes on Loki who stood outside watching the city below. "J.A.R.V.I.S activate the mark 7"
"sir the mark 7 isn't ready yet"
"skip the rims"
With that Tony landed on his platform and began to take steps into his building as the suit was taken of his body.
Loki seeing this, turned around heading into the building as well. "You should have kept your armor" were the words Loki as he came to halt watching Stark with a confident grin plastered upon his face.
"I'm here to talk" Tony's response caused Loki to chuckle, "please don't tell me you are here to appeal to my humanity"
" more like threaten you actually"
"then you really should have left the armor on for that" "yeah fair point, although you got the glowing stick of destiny and everything"
"drink?" Tony questioned as he moved behind the counter to pour a drink, "stalling won't help you" "I'm not stalling I'm threatening, do you want the drink cause I'm gonna have it".
"The chitauri are coming, nothing is gonna change that" Loki walked towards the ceiling to floor windows as he said that. What have I to fear?"
"The avengers" Tony replied as he poured himself a drink, looking up he saw Loki walking towards him with confused eyes. "That's what we call ourselves"
"sorta like a team, Earth's mightiest heroes" "yes I've met them" Loki cut in causing Tony to chuckle, "took a while to gain traction, I'll give you that but let's do a headcount here. Your brother the demigod, super soilder living legend who kind of lives up to the legend, a man with breathtaking anger management issues, couple of master assassins and let's not forget the legendary Dark Knight himself and you... you've managed to piss off each and every one of them."
"that was the plan"

Tony moved away from the counter with his drink at hand, "because when they come because make no mistake, they will they'll come after you."
"I have an army" Loki exclaimed, "we have a hulk" Tony replied in a calm and even tone. "Right the beast that wandered off".
"You are missing the point, there is no throne, there is no version of this where you win. Maybe your army comes, maybe it's too much for us but it's all on you. If we can't protect the earth you can be damn sure we'll avenge it." Tony took a sip from his glass as he finished.
"How can they, when they're so busy fighting you" Loki tried to take control over Tony but a clink sound was heard confusing him. "why isn't this working?"
"Performance issues? it isn't uncommon but I do hate when that happens" Loki frowned and lifted Tony by his neck flinging him away.
Tony let out a grunt as he tried to make it back to his feet, "J.A.R.V.I.S I'mma need you to work faster. "you will all bow to me" Loki uttered before flinging Tony out the window as he shouted deploy.
Loki heard a sound and turned around just in time to get hit by the mark 7 as it flew to save Tony.Tony got his suit just in time to fly back up, "and there is one person you pissed off his name is Phil" before blasting Loki.
A large sound drew Tony's attention, looking up he saw the massive hole in the sky as well as the chitauri flying straight out. "right... army" Tony flew in to confront them, taking out a few of them Tony had to fly off as he was overwhelmed.
"Tony" Natasha's voice was soon heard in Tony's ears, "there you are what you guys stop for drive though"
"swing up north, I'm gonna lay them out for you"
"open the door" Batman spoke as he moved to the door, Clint not even thinking twice opened it allowing for Batman to jump out and into the Batwing which had flown into place.
Taking the Batwing, Batman flew to cover the Quinjet which almost got shot down by a Chitauri soldier.
The Quinjet still took damage to the wing as Loki let out a blast from where he stood fighting Thor, causing them to make a rough landing.
On the streets of New York Ghost bat and Orphan were helping people get to safety whilst taking out any Chitauri that got close to them. Due to the earlier warning fewer people were on the streets reducing the amount of people they had to help.
A roar caused all the heroes to look above as a massive creature flew out and began releasing Chitauri towards buildings. Batman managed to stay close firing at the Chitauri that tried to make it to the buildings but soon had to fly off as a blast was aimed for him.
"Has anyone seen Banner" Tony asked as he flew by its side trying to spot a weakness. Batman jumped out of the Batwing leaving it under the control of Oracle as he jumped into a building taking out a Chitauri that was about to kill a young boy.
Giving the boy another look to make sure he was okay Batman jumped out swinging on his grappling hook to continue the fight, the boy on the other hand rushed to the windows looking at Batman's back with awe in his eyes.
