This catastrophic damage caused the elder to panic and discharge sound everywhere in an attempt to kill them. Alex had done that whole song and dance before though and grabbed Zane before Flying out of the elders range to wait for it to finally die to it's injuries. It didn't take long as shara got weaker and weaker before it could no longer move much less set off it's sound attacks. It was at this point that a whole bunch of people seemed to show up to congratulate them after Alex had landed.-
"That's was a rather dramatic way to die of the big fella's part." the admiral said having seen the last few minutes of the fight. 'To be fair I did set off a large explosion right inside it's chest so it was likely in agony alongside it's panic.' Alex said like that entire sentence didn't make him sound evil. No one was bothered by it though since what he said wasn't wrong at all nor was said maliciously but merely as a statement of fact. "Think the new world might finally calm down now that this guys dead?" the field leader asked curiously.-
'No clue , but I doubt it knowing how we like to poke the hornets nest with our explorations.' Alex said foreshadowing their troubles. What most people who played the game never realized was that it was only because of the meddling of the people in the new world after this fight that caused the two apex species monsters like Fatalis and Alatreon to appear. Before this the sofi jiiva had been hidden from their senses but after the hunters attacked it for the danger it posed to the land it was forced to reveal itself to them making them start to stir.-
"Hahaha! Sounds like a fun time ahead of us then!" The admiral laughed loudly. Unlike in the game shara ishvalda was very much dead this time instead of knocked out and Alex was also there so the Nergigante that had fled previously did not return to claim the kill. This meant that they got to actually take the body off to get researched this time. Alex himself also got the perfect place to unlock the final element as the island was naturally very isolated. Whatever this unlock caused would be fairly contained this way so he didn't need to worry about implicating the others.-
Obviously he wasn't going to immediately do that as he had another thing to work on that he had been putting off for quite a while now. For the next month Alex vanished from the public eye though everyone knew where he was. During this time be spent most of his time within the waters of the everstream pushing the percentage of his [sublimation] trait forwards slowly. He only left when he needed to hunt something to eat before returning. This was an effective method of raising the percentage as by the end of the month he had maxed it out at ninety nine percent.-
By this it meant that the final piece missing from the transformation was something other than energy that he was currently lacking to complete the sublimation of his essence. 'Whatever . lets go see how far the others have gotten.' he thought as he turned his now all white body and swam down the everstream intent on returning home. He also shifted his coloration as he swam back to it's original black as he found the white too eye catching. Once in the open ocean Alex shot out of the water and unfurled his wings before flapping them to gain altitude.-
It didn't take long for him to see astera for the first time in over a month and he was surprised at how much it had changed in this time. Not only had the town expanded it's fields for farming but it had also spruced the whole place up with decorations that made Alex cringe since most of them were of him in some form or another. Things like banners , wall paintings , statues and even small fishing boats designed to look like him. It was almost creepy to see oneself worshiped in such a way when one wasn't an ego maniac.
