HP – Shadow Monarch!

Chapter 63 – Attack of Hogsmeade 01.

[Chapter Size: 1800 Words.]

Third Person POV

Hogwarts.

...

...

"Snape." Snape heard someone call him; it was Friday night while he was checking out some more things in the school library.

"Narcisa?!" Snape looked between the shelves as a blonde girl watched him from between the bars of the restricted section.

"Are you busy right now? We need to talk... it's urgent..." she said, and Snape nodded, standing to leave and approached the girl.

"Something wrong?" he asked, exiting the area; Narcisa rarely sought him out.

"Yes... can we go somewhere more private?" she requested, and Snape nodded, taking her arm, surprising the girl, and disappearing like a shadow.

They reappeared in the secret hall where Snape usually trains alone, more a storeroom than a room for practicing magic, but Snape liked the place because he was the only one to enter there while having space to train.

"What place is this... wait, what was that... You learned apparition?" Narcisa asked, surprised when she realized they had teleported.

"No, it's another magic, but that's not the point, what do you want?" he asked.

They sighed and decided to get straight to the conversation, but first, she was curious about another thing that she couldn't wait to ask. "Did you take Bellatrix's wand?" she inquired.

"Yes. And I will not return it if you ask." Snape spoke calmly.

"I wouldn't ask for it." Narcisa said. "But how did that happen?" She wanted to know Snape's version.

"You should ask the people who saw; I simply found someone who wanted to be hit and did what she asked," Snape said.

"I heard... it's just so surreal hearing all that..." Narcisa murmured. "Anyway..." She regained a much more serious look.

"I'd like you not to leave the castle tomorrow," she said in a very serious tone.

"Why is that?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Remember when we first talked this year... there will be an attack... by some Death Eaters..." she said.

Snape looked at that, raising an eyebrow but with a bit of interest. "And I can suppose that almost all the Slytherin students know about this and they will not be attacked?" Snape scoffed.

Narcisa looked and nodded. "Yes, they aim to attack Muggle-born students, as You-Know-Who is wanting to start acting against Dumbledore..." she said.

"Dumbledore would let this happen?" Snape asked.

"In fact, he will... he left tonight, he will not be at school this weekend, when they will act," she said.

"I see..." Snape admitted. "Well, thank you for letting me know," Snape said simply.

"Is that all?" She raised an eyebrow at him.

"I heard very well, but still, I plan to go to Hogsmeade..." he said, determined. Snape would not hide for a bunch of clowns in skull masks like the ones in the newspapers.

"I think you don't understand, Severus. I'm telling you this because, as I said a long time ago, they might see you as a target, and it's very likely that they will, after all, you've made many enemies these months," she said with a concerned tone, but Snape continued shaking his head.

"You don't need to worry about me. I will handle this," he spoke calmly.

"Are you sure about that? You know this might be a no-return path," she said again, trying to convince Snape.

Snape sighed. "Thank you for your sincerity, Narcisa, but I know how to take care of myself," he spoke finally. Since he himself had to do something first with the director's absence. Even though he goes around fighting with everyone and puts people in the infirmary, but he wouldn't let other students suffer terrible things because of a bunch of lunatics with even crazier ideologies.

He was still a guardian protecting the universe one day. Another reason also was that he could eliminate those lunatics, since he was still stagnant at his level, unable to increase it. He even gained a level when he killed those star wizards in the black market and even managed to improve the points, gaining a few more days before they ceased again. Then he discovered that his performance in the system is due to his level, something he could progress to become stronger.

"Well, all right then," she whispered.

"Even so, I'm grateful." Snape said with a thankful tone, since this girl wanted to help after all.

He grabbed her the next moment and teleported them again to the middle of the corridor, heading towards the Slytherin common room, entering while the students seemed to be chatting animatedly with a rather dark tone.

They noticed Snape and Narcisa entering together, while many looked at Snape and whispered among themselves, some with satisfied looks, others with looks of pity.

"Will he be a target?"

"Of course... don't you know who he messed with this year?"

"He will suffer tomorrow... one thing is to catch some seventh-year students, I want to see him deal with an adult!"

They continued gossiping, while Snape didn't care about it and moved forward, leaving Narcisa behind and returning to his room.

His only companion at the moment was the African owl he called Shadow, due to its dark coloring that contrasted with its sapphire blue eyes. He gently petted the bird and went back to his things for the rest of the night.

And so Saturday arrived. The first thing Snape did was get ready, putting the most necessary items in his inventory. He had acquired some bladed weapons, like daggers and even a short sword, from the black market, which were easily accessible since wizards had no interest in bladed or Muggle weapons.

Snape was interested and was also researching a magical sword that belonged to Gryffindor. After looking at the records in the restricted section, he would be lying if he said he wasn't interested in the sword, even though it was from the house of those idiots.

He had breakfast and returned to his room before disappearing and reappearing in the corridors to avoid drawing attention, following the shadows and passing by students who didn't even see him go by, he proceeded to Hogsmeade, along with the other students, entering the village unseen by anyone.

Snape quickly climbed one of the houses and stayed watching the students above, while they seemed to enjoy each other's company as if nothing was about to happen. "Are these guys terrorist enough to act this way...?" Snape murmured as he saw nothing unusual until noon and then decided to leave there.

As he jumped off the roof of that house, he fell into an alley and noticed someone there who wasn't there before. With a frightened scream as he landed on the ground, he looked to see who was there, and it was none other than Bellatrix.

'What is she doing here? And how did she follow me?' Snape murmured, narrowing his eyes at the girl.

Bellatrix, initially surprised, soon glared at him with anger. "I finally found you, you bastard. Give back my wand!" Snape sighed and held his hand trying to attack him and stared at her.

"I want you to apologize first," Snape said.

"You really think I'm going to apologize?! Give back my wand!!" she exclaimed, growling.

"You should. Otherwise, you'll never see your wand again. And you think I'm afraid of your family? Tell whoever you want, I don't care, I'm keeping this wand for myself." Snape said with a defiant tone.

Bellatrix clenched her teeth with so much anger, she stopped struggling for a moment and swallowed her pride while staring at him. She opened her hands held by Snape and instead of apologizing, she simply moved closer with her face and kissed him.

"Hm?" Snape, surprised by this gesture, felt her pull her lips away from his with a poorly executed kiss, as if she had never kissed anyone in her life.

She simply released her lips and looked angrily at him as if Snape had forced her to do this, and he raised an eyebrow. "What was that?" He said with a questioning tone.

"Is that what you wanted? Now give back my wand," she said with continued anger.

"I said an apology, not this," Snape responded, still a bit surprised.

"Isn't this what you wanted, you idiot? I'm not going to apologize, that was enough! Now, I'll have to put a frog in my mouth to get rid of the taste of a half-blood like you," she said, growling, despite a slight blush on her face.

"You really are an idiot," Snape couldn't believe it. But he sighed in the end and saw that this kind of discussion would lead nowhere. This woman would rather kiss someone than apologize.

He took her wand from his inventory and placed it in front of her. Before Snape looked at her seriously and said his final words: "If you try anything else, I swear, Bellatrix Black, I will break your wand," Snape said with a threatening tone.

Bellatrix clenched her fist, but took the wand without responding to the threat, she was very angry, but what else could she do, this guy in front of her proved to be someone who didn't seem to fear her, worse, he simply made her faint twice.

But as soon as she took the wand and was about to store it, she felt Snape's arms quickly grabbing her waist and pulling her to him, making her spin, surprised. "What are you..." she tried to say, but barely had time before he completed the spin quickly and pushed her against the wall, as stones fell from where she had been, following an explosion she hadn't even noticed while seething with anger.

Snape leaned close to her face against the wall. "Stop being foolish, pay attention to your surroundings." He simply spoke and looked up, as wizards began to fly on brooms over all of Hogsmeade, they flew over the alley starting to conjure magic, throwing it into the middle of the town.

It didn't take long for the village to descend into chaos, as the screaming of adults and, mainly, school students, began to fill all the streets. Snape held Bellatrix by her waist and moved her aside.

"If you attack any student like these lunatics on the brooms, I will show no mercy, understand?" Bellatrix was surprised by the sudden threat from Snape and before she could say anything, surprised as Snape's eyes turned blue, he left her and started running out of the alley into the chaotic streets.

Snape put on a mask and a hood before entering the chaos, and then he would begin a small massacre with these terrorists entering the battlefield.
