Hyrule's Brand New-Ancient Monstrosity

Vexalia's POV.

After gorging myself on the sulfury stuff contained in the bomb flowers, I felt kind of sick, "I hate this so much..." I lament holding my stomach which feels like it's melting, "Welp... Moving on." I declared as I got up and jumped back on the eye.

Rolling back to the middle let me to seeing a passage near the nearly raised walkway, so stepping off, I went over, and noticing rocks blocking my way, I made a casing made out of my bone and filled it with sulfur, "Good old multi-chromatic." I stated before tossing the bone bomb at the wall of rocks, letting me go through the door it blocked.

"What's in this room exactly?" I asked Fi, wanting to know if it was worth the waste of time, "In this room should be the map of the dungeon." The spirit responded, making me look at the end of the room, divided from me by platforms.

Preparing to jump, I noticed something buried near the door, digging I found a amber colored magatama, "They got these too." I summarized for myself before pocketing the artifact and now actually jumping between the platforms until I reached the other end where the chest was.

Opening the chest I grabbed the map inside and jumped back to the entrance of the room, "Let's see..." I said as I checked the map to see what I might be missing and to my surprise and entire hallway was blocked off, "How old is this place?" I asked Fi who just didn't even make a sound, "...Fuck you." I said as I hopped on the eye and rolled to the wall and tossed a bone bomb at it.

With the hallway now reveal I rolled in finding another wall with a crack, blowing that too I kept rolling until I found a gate that seemed to be the same as the one at the temple's entrance, so I sent out my beetle out scouting through a passage beside the gate and found the rope holding the gate up, and when it chewed through the gate dropped.

"How was I supposed to get here if not with the eye?" I wondered outloud as I started rolling again to a part of the central area I couldn't access with the eye, "Oh a switch!" I exclaimed, rolling the eye to press the switch in the side of the bridge, causing the crossway to open completely, allowing me to jump on the middle platform and finally access the rest of the temple.

The rest of the temple however proved to be a pain as I could easily see the boulders barely being held by a structure over a ramp, "That's-" I stopped when I noticed the rest spot in the wall, "-Not too bad actually." I finished, taking a running start and climbing the ramp up to the rest spot as the boulders fell down and rolled, allowing me to then continue up with no problem.

Up another ramp with boulders, and seemingly no rest spot this time, good for me thought there was another path, but this one brought to a platform above the ramp, but from here I was able to see the rocks blocking the rest spot, so with a bomb, I opened it up.

Now at the top after avoiding more boulders, I saw to the right the locked door, to which I haven't found the key yet, and even then it was blocked by a lava flow, and to the left, a ramp of some kind, "Eeny meeny miney mo." I said ending up with the ramp, and no boulders this time, and at the top a chest with a weirdly shaped dragon key inside.

When I took the key however, I heard something above me, and looking up I saw a dragon statue mouth open up and drop a huge marble sphere, "OH SHIT!!!" I exclaimed, turning around and balling up using a casing like the one I made for the bombs and rolled down, but not being able to see I didn't know where I was ending up, but I felt heat all over me for a second and bumped into something.

Unfurling I saw I rolled beyond the lava and into the door, in fact the bone shell was completely charred, but not a moment after, the marble ball hit the statue that was spewing lava in the mouth, plugging it, but then the statue closed it's mouth and swallowed the ball, "...Questions for later..." I tell myself as I get ready to- "No!"

Fi came out of the sword, grabbed the key from me and did the puzzle herself, "Never again!" She exclaimed before going back in the blade, "...Okay." I responded as I went through the door, where the ball rolled down a pipe of sorts.

Climbing up the umpteenth ramp, I spotted Ghirahim sitting on the end of the pipe looking done, "Just take this..." He said, snapping his fingers, causing the ball to roll down the ramp, giving me barely the time to dodge as it came crashing down, cracking when it hit bottom and sprouted legs made of magma.

Not wanting to deal with more fire, I used all the sulfur I had stored and made bomb after bomb that I tossed at the monster, blowing it to bits, "That was easy." I commented, climbing to the top of the ramp, where I again gorged myself on sulfur from the bomb flowers there, which was better than before.

"Mistress." Fi called out, coming out of the sword and looking at chains on the floor, "I detect that Zelda was here." She explained, making me feel slightly angry at the implication, "Let's go before I hurt someone..." I muttered, taking the door near the chains, where I saw Zelda and the girl I met on the bridge cimbing the volcano stnading in front of a bright light.

Third Person POV.

"Zelda!" Vexalia called out to her girlfriend, catching the attention of both girls, "Ve-" Zelda was saying, but got interrupted by the other girl, "Your grace, remember what we discussed, you cannot go to her, you have a purpose to fulfill." The girl told Zelda, and hearing that made Vexalia's face go through a million emotions.

When she was reminded, Zelda turned to the light, "I... I have to go... I'm sorry Vexalia." She apologized before stepping into the light, which at first made Vexalia feel sad like she never did before, but it immediately turned to anger directed at the girl. since it was her doing.

Said girl stepped in front of the light and turn to Vexalia, "You were far too late, looking at you I wonder if the Goddess truly did create you to be a hero." The girl said, further angering Vexalia, causing her to take her sword out and pointing it up, "If this failure indicates anything, than you're not capable of protecting her grace." The girl continued as energy charged in the blade.

Readying a swing, Vexalia subconsciously changed the shape of the blade, bending it slightly and when she moved, she tossed the sword at the girl, who dodged the spininning weapon, causing it to strike an emblem like the one in Skyview temple, and then dodged again when it bounced back like a boomerang, allowing Vexalia to catch it.

"DAMNED YOUUUU!!!" Vexalia yelled, her anger increasing, until the colder air of the spring hit her with termal shock, causing her to fall to her knees, and then her face, leaving the last thing she saw before passing out, the girl walking in the light, which disappeared after.
