Marvel: Beginning with the Collection of Shinra Tensei

Chapter 7: Chapter 7: Stark's Request

Don't be fooled by Stark's usual carefree attitude—when it comes to matters like this, he takes them more seriously than anyone else. Otherwise, he wouldn't have spent months holed up in his underground workshop, creating countless suits of armor.

However, while these armors are impressive, they are still limited to Earth's environment. Facing a potential cosmic-level war in the future, these suits would be utterly useless.

This is the root of Stark's anxiety.

"So... do you have a solution?"

Stark asked with hope etched across his face. His biggest obstacle right now was energy.

The most advanced and powerful energy source on Earth was the arc reactor embedded in Stark's chest. But even that wasn't enough to support his dream of protecting the world.

No matter how powerful an energy source may seem on Earth, it simply isn't sufficient for interstellar warfare. Only an even more advanced power source could achieve that.

Stark stared intently at Han Yu, trying to read any clue from his face to determine whether he was being serious.

Yet Han Yu's sharp, relaxed expression and confident smile didn't waver in the slightest under Stark's scrutiny.

"The price? Tell me—how much does your technology cost? A hundred million dollars? A billion? Ten billion? A hundred billion? Or even more? Just name your price, and I'll pay it!"

Seeing Han Yu hesitate, Stark assumed he was considering the cost and hastily offered his willingness to pay any price.

Stark's eagerness didn't surprise Han Yu. In fact, he found it entirely reasonable.

Han Yu stroked his chin thoughtfully. What should he ask for?

Money? He didn't need it. The 30 billion taels of silver he'd earned from the Hidden Leaf Village could be converted through the shop system into any world's currency. After conversion, Han Yu currently had nearly three billion dollars in his account.

While this wasn't an astronomical sum by Earth's standards, it was more than enough for Han Yu's daily needs. After all, he wasn't one of those rich playboys who burned through money recklessly. His goal was to stand at the pinnacle of all worlds.

So naturally, he wouldn't lose himself over a bit of wealth.

"What should I ask for...?"

Han Yu was stumped. Stark's suits? His arc reactor?

With the Green Lantern Ring in hand, items considered miracles on Earth held little appeal to Han Yu anymore.

While he was lost in thought, the system's voice suddenly echoed in his mind:

"Side Mission Triggered: Recruit a Staff Member!"

Han Yu froze, a spark of excitement flashing in his eyes. A side mission had been triggered?

Side missions offered some of the richest rewards in the system! Their advantage lay in the unpredictable nature of the prizes—the higher the completion rate, the better the rewards.

But as a "cheat player" who had traveled through worlds, Han Yu already knew the future events of the Marvel universe like the back of his hand. The moment he saw the mission, a candidate immediately popped into his mind:

The super AI—Ultron!

"Nice!"

As soon as the mission appeared in his mind, Han Yu made up his mind. With a smirk, he said, "I don't want your money. How about this—you help me create a game? I'll provide the blueprint, and you handle everything else."

Stark froze. A... game?

What kind of request was that?

The technology Han Yu hinted at wasn't something money could buy—it was priceless. And yet, he was asking Stark to help make a game?

As the thought settled in, Stark's face twisted with frustration. His emotions flared instantly.

He took three quick strides, grabbed Han Yu by the collar, and roared:

"Are you messing with me? I don't have time for jokes! Do you have the technology or not?"

His yell was intense, his face flushed with anxiety. It was clear how desperate he was.

"Let go of your hand."

Han Yu's words were calm, neither cold nor angry, but they carried a weight that seemed to echo from all directions.

An aura that didn't match his youthful appearance surged from him, causing Stark to instinctively release his grip.

For a moment, silence filled the air as Stark stood frozen, his heart pounding from the sheer pressure of Han Yu's presence.

Stark swallowed hard, a trace of fear flashing in his eyes. He couldn't believe that he felt such a commanding, kingly aura from a young man who looked at least a decade younger than him.

Han Yu adjusted his clothes, his voice carrying the usual light tone, yet it was devoid of warmth.

"This is your last chance. Whether you agree or not is up to you—I won't force you."

This was indeed Han Yu's intention. After all, as a transmigrator, he didn't want to keep hopping between worlds without bringing something from his past life. Without a few classic games from his original world, how could life be considered perfect?

While Han Yu could retrieve game designs from the system of his Miscellaneous Goods Shop, creating the game itself would require the expertise of a local gaming company.

He was confident that once the game was developed and launched, he would undoubtedly become one of the wealthiest people in the world. The gaming market was unimaginably vast, and in a world filled with supernatural chaos, a good game could offer the masses a much-needed escape.

Stark stared at Han Yu's smiling face. Despite standing before one of the most powerful men on Earth, Han Yu showed not a hint of hesitation or intimidation. That kind of presence wasn't something an ordinary twenty-something-year-old could possess.

"Alright, I agree."

Stark hesitated briefly but ultimately nodded. It wasn't because he found the condition difficult—it was actually too simple. So simple that it made him suspicious.

"Good, that makes things easier."

As Stark agreed, Han Yu raised his hand, and several tangible strands of green energy emerged from his palm, slowly condensing together.

Even Tony Stark, an Avenger, widened his eyes in disbelief. He had never seen energy being materialized and manipulated with such ease.

After about thirty seconds, the green energy had formed into a crystalline green ring, almost identical to the Green Lantern ring Han Yu wore on his own finger. It floated gently in Han Yu's palm.

"This is what you need. Take it."

Han Yu spread his fingers, and under his control, the ring wobbled slightly as it floated towards Stark.

Stark hurriedly extended his hands to catch the ring carefully.

"This... What is this?"

Stark was puzzled. The method of creating this energy-based ring was simply unfathomable, and he dared not take it lightly.

"This is a Green Lantern Ring. As for how it works, you'll figure it out once you study the energy it contains," Han Yu said with a faint smile.

The Green Lantern Ring, one of the most powerful artifacts in the DC Universe, held energy that would undoubtedly surprise Stark.

Clutching the ring tightly, Stark spoke with rare solemnity. "If this works, and if you ever need anything in the future, just say the word. I'll do everything I can to help."

Before leaving, Stark took Han Yu's phone number and left behind a bank card, stating that it contained three billion dollars that Han Yu could spend freely.

With that, Stark hurriedly bid farewell and rushed back to Avengers Tower. He couldn't wait to study the ring and unlock its secrets.

Han Yu beckoned with his hand, and the bank card floated into his palm, suspended mid-air by an invisible mental force.

"Good luck, Stark. Whether or not I can complete my mission depends on you."

Meanwhile…

Stark sped back to Avengers Tower, covering the distance in mere minutes. Once he arrived, he dashed straight into his workshop and began analyzing the ring.

"Jarvis, scan this ring thoroughly and compare its energy output to the arc reactor I'm currently using."

"Understood, sir," the AI Jarvis replied.

Stark stared intently at the screen as streams of data began to merge and form coherent results. His expression shifted with every passing moment.

"Sir, the calculations indicate that the energy output of this ring significantly surpasses your current arc reactor. In fact, it could completely replace your current reactor."

"Completely replace it?"

Stark's eyes widened as he stared at the data displayed on the screen. He had never expected to find his answer in such an unassuming little shop.

Almost unconsciously, his eyes drifted to a white business card lying nearby. It was incredibly simple, with only two lines of text:

Miscellaneous Goods Shop

Han Yu

Stark frowned slightly. He never brought business cards into his underground workshop. Curious, he checked the security footage.

To his astonishment, the card had appeared on the table out of nowhere, without any warning.
