Chapter 76: Chapter 76: The Power of a Top-Level Martial Spirit

Several figures darted swiftly to Han Yu's side—it was Xiao Yan and the others who had been hiding in the shadows.

"It's that beautiful lady again…"

Ma Hongjun's gaze lingered on Erina among the three newcomers. It hadn't been long since they last met, yet her charm had grown even more captivating. The noble aura she exuded was leagues beyond what ordinary women could achieve.

"This girl's spirit power fluctuation isn't the same as before," Dai Mubai of the Shrek Seven Devils whispered.

"I think she must have found a spirit ring," Tang San replied.

"That fast? Impressive. I wonder what kind of spirit ring she acquired—would love to see it," Dai Mubai said.

The sudden arrival of three new individuals put Snake Granny on edge. She instinctively shielded Meng Yiran behind her.

"I don't believe in bullying others. We're all spirit masters, so let's let our spirits do the talking," Han Yu said, weighing the Clear Sky Hammer in his hand with a calm smile. "This young lady and I are both single-ring spirit masters. I could be considered a barely innate full spirit power spirit master. Why don't you let your granddaughter pick one of us? If she wins, you can take the spirit beast with you. If she loses, we'll help you find another beast as strong as the Phoenix-Tailed Cockscomb Snake—free of charge."

Han Yu's casual manner as he hefted the hammer made him look like a refined rogue, ready to strike with the hammer regardless of any objections.

"Barely innate full spirit power?"

Everyone caught onto the key phrase in Han Yu's words. Barely? Did that mean this stunningly beautiful girl was an innate full spirit power user, and Han Yu was as well?

Innate full spirit power was rare. Most spirit masters with innate full power started at level ten, though some could even reach level twenty, allowing them to absorb two spirit rings immediately. Such talent put them far ahead of most spirit masters and was highly enviable.

"Are you serious?" Snake Granny asked warily.

"Of course. If we were truly unreasonable, we'd simply tell you to leave without all this discussion," Han Yu replied with a shrug and a smile.

Snake Granny's wariness grew as she looked at Han Yu's group. Innate full spirit power spirit masters were exceedingly rare in the larger spirit master community. Most who had it achieved great success. Encountering two such individuals at once was truly astonishing.

"What kind of luck is this today?" Snake Granny thought to herself. "First, I run into this group of kids, who are around fifteen yet already have two rings. And now, I meet two innate full spirit power users! Although this boy is a bit older, he wields the Clear Sky Hammer. And as for the girl, who knows what her spirit could be?"

She grumbled internally, frustrated by her predicament. Dealing with Zhao Wuji and his group had already been challenging. Now, she was facing a monstrous spirit master holding the Clear Sky Hammer, whose first spirit ring was a ten-thousand-year ring. How could anyone endure this?

Han Yu casually tossed the Clear Sky Hammer in the air. Though it had only one spirit ring, its innate strength was enough to make even Titled Douluos wary.

The hammer had been obtained through an item-draw card. One unique feature of these items was that they were maxed out right from the start, saving Han Yu the trouble of painstakingly leveling them up.

However, the Clear Sky Hammer, as a martial spirit, was a bit special. Though it possessed a theoretical level of ninety-nine, it couldn't unleash its full power without spirit rings. It was like having a maxed-out weapon stuck with level ten abilities.

Still, even a low-level skill from a ninety-nine-level Ultimate Douluo was not something anyone at level thirty could withstand.

Seeing the faint excitement on Han Yu's face as if he was eager to be picked, Snake Granny quickly ruled him out. His ten-thousand-year first spirit ring aside, just the Clear Sky Hammer itself made her unwilling to choose him. Her gaze shifted to Erina behind him.

"I'll pick this young lady," Snake Granny said.

"Alright, Erina, go ahead. Get some practice, and don't forget what I told you earlier—pay close attention to the flow of your spirit power."

Han Yu patted Erina on the shoulder, showing no concern about her losing. Even if she did, he could effortlessly find another spirit beast as strong as the Phoenix-Tailed Cockscomb Snake, beat it down, and hand it over. Sending Erina in was more about giving her a chance to train.

Without hesitation, Erina stepped forward, positioning herself opposite Meng Yiran. This was a rare opportunity to hone her skills. Most people in the general store were far too strong, and finding someone of similar strength to spar with was no easy feat.

Seeing Erina step up, Meng Yiran sneered. A girl whose beauty and elegance rivaled her own? It was said that beautiful women were natural rivals. With a cold humph, Meng Yiran declared, "Meng Yiran, spirit: Snake Staff, Level 30 Spirit Grandmaster with two rings."

As she spoke, the snake's eyes on her staff glowed faintly purple, and the two yellow spirit rings on her body pulsed rhythmically.

Erina tucked the strands of golden hair falling by her cheeks behind her ears and replied calmly, "Nakiri Erina, Level 20 Spirit Master, spirit: Six-Winged Angel."

The crowd froze, stunned as though struck by lightning. What did she just say? Six-Winged Angel?!

"Impossible! That's the Six-Winged Angel?!" someone gasped. "I've heard my teacher mention it before—it's a legendary spirit, one of the most powerful in existence. Anyone with that spirit is said to be a messenger of the gods!"

Even Tang San's eyes flickered with disbelief. Meeting someone with a Clear Sky Hammer was rare enough, but encountering the Six-Winged Angel, a top-tier spirit? Even with his composed temperament developed over two lifetimes, he couldn't help but be amazed.

"Little Tang, if you're already this shocked, you're in for more surprises," Han Yu said with a grin, not even turning his head.

Han Yu's familiar tone left Tang San puzzled, but before he could respond, Meng Yiran had already made her move.

"Humph! Bluffing! There's no way someone would casually have a top-tier spirit!"

In a blink, Meng Yiran closed the distance between them, swinging her nearly two-meter-long snake-headed staff straight at Erina's head.

Despite being a girl, the force behind Meng Yiran's swing carried a gust of wind that even a grown man would hesitate to face.

But Erina didn't flinch. Instead, she smiled. As her lips curled upward, a frying pan seemingly materialized out of nowhere, crashing into Meng Yiran's staff and sending it flying.

"What in the world? A frying pan?"

Following the frying pan, a flurry of silver dining knives appeared behind Erina, shooting toward Meng Yiran like a torrential storm.

Caught off guard by the deluge of knives, Meng Yiran had no choice but to defend herself. She swung her staff, forming a makeshift "shield" to block the incoming blades.

Meng Yiran retreated a few steps, her two spirit rings glowing simultaneously. Activating her first spirit skill, Serpent Blade, and her second skill, Snake Body, her movements became as agile as a slithering serpent. The snake staff in her hand morphed into a sharp weapon, striking at Erina with astonishing speed.
