Roma, who had been prepared and narrowly escaped harm, looked anxiously at Lorna standing beside her and asked, 

"Where's Zane?!" 

Lorna, who knew Zane inside and out, appeared calm and composed as she confidently replied, 

"Don't worry, he's fine." 

Meanwhile, the massive Planet Devourer, frustrated by its missed strike, felt a tinge of disappointment. 

Deep inside, a ripple of unease surged: 

"That trick again? Even I, a being approaching omnipotence, still can't see through it?" 

Having witnessed Zane battling Tiamut, the Planet Devourer was no stranger to the [God's Absence] technique. 

But he hadn't expected that even with precautions, he still couldn't detect Zane's concealed movements. 

That's why he was so astonished. 

Just then, a voice suddenly echoed near his ears. 

Zane, now hundreds of meters tall, appeared directly in front of the Planet Devourer's chest. 

"Actually, you've always been wrong." 

"Compared to those dream-made creations of your disciple, this silver contraption of yours—no matter how strong..." 

"In my eyes," 

"It's still nothing worth mentioning!"

A massive black scythe of death materialized in an instant, slicing down toward the red line Zane's eyes had locked onto.

In the next moment, the Planet Devourer's prized Ultimate Nullifier, tightly gripped in its hand, was abruptly cleaved in two under Zane's determined gaze.

Simultaneously, Zane shifted his gaze, summoning a pair of [Mangekyō Sharingan] with triangular patterns swirling around them. 

He fixed his eyes directly on the Planet Devourer's towering gaze.

Unexpectedly, twin laser beams erupted from the Planet Devourer's eyes, colliding with Zane's line of sight and forcing him back to the side. 

"You've successfully angered me." 

"Now, I'll make sure you regret not dying at my hands earlier..." 

The Planet Devourer, staring coldly at Zane, finished speaking as its enormous figure rapidly shrank, reducing to the height of an ordinary human.

As the Planet Devourer shrank to the size of a human, Zane also reverted from his quantum-enlarged form to his original height. 

He deliberately shifted to the opposite side of Lorna and her group to draw the opponent's attention. 

Zane hadn't expected the Planet Devourer to be so well-prepared against his [Mangekyō Sharingan], almost as if it had foreseen his strategy. 

Earlier, Zane had used his [Mystic Eyes of Death Perception] to locate the death line of the Ultimate Eraser, striking it down in a single, decisive blow. 

Zane wasn't wrong—the physical form of the Ultimate Eraser was even more vulnerable than the projection within the slumbering dreamscape. 

This was because, in its tangible state, the death lines were far easier to detect. 

After shattering the Ultimate Eraser, Zane noticed that the death lines on the Planet Devourer's body were exceptionally concealed, making them difficult to strike. 

Suspended mid-air, having expended considerable energy in his last attack, Zane realized he couldn't guarantee a lethal strike against the Planet Devourer at that moment. 

Thus, he quickly switched to his previously unbeatable [Mangekyō Sharingan]. 

However, the Planet Devourer countered preemptively, unleashing laser beams from its eyes that neutralized the attack. 

Although peculiar, the immense density of energy radiating from the Planet Devourer also made Zane hesitant to act recklessly. 

At this point, the now-human-sized Planet Devourer slowly walked toward Zane, its appearance becoming clearer.

Simultaneously, countless powerful mechanical arms extended from the armor on its back, swarming like a menacing wave. 

With each step closer, the mechanical arms opened maw-like appendages, swallowing nearby planets one by one. 

These planets, spiraling in orbit, shrank rapidly under the suction, disappearing into the void. 

Before long, the once vibrant starry expanse, rejuvenated by the remnants of the Nemesis Goddess's power, became cold and empty again. 

Witnessing this, an untimely thought struck Zane: 

'Why did the Nemesis Goddess's 'suicide' destroy this space before, yet this time, though she's gone, the galaxy regrew?'

The Planet Devourer's voice interrupted Zane's wandering thoughts: 

"Zane Sy, I imagine you've figured it out by now." 

"Those younglings who lost to you all dabbled, to varying degrees, in this Energy Siphon Device behind me." 

"Unfortunately for them, only Tiamut and Destruction displayed any real talent—barely one ten-thousandth of my capability as the Planet Devourer." 

"Even those two couldn't achieve my level of near-total energy absorption and conversion. They wasted far too much star core energy—an unforgivable inefficiency." 

"Don't misunderstand, though. These few planets are mere morsels—not nearly enough to satisfy me." 

"As I mentioned before, if that old man hadn't fragmented me into infinite 'parallel forms,' I'd have devoured this Omniversal Cosmos long ago." 

"Now, I'm just snacking for fun, drawn by these star-forms created from the Nemesis Goddess's energy—something even I've never seen before." 

The Planet Devourer spoke as it approached Zane, its form layered with countless overlapping shadows, making it appear phantom-like, with afterimages trailing every movement. 

"Even though Merlin's daughter stands at your side, as the supreme deity of the Omniversal Cosmos, I feel it's only fitting to let you, a mere Earthling, witness..." 

"What it means to wield power beyond the single-universe scale!" 

*Boom!* 

A massive energy pillar surged toward Zane. 

Although it appeared as a single beam, Zane could sense countless unseen forces intertwined within it. 

"This is a Weak Chaos Wave, formed by merging several super-universes after I 'string-broke' them." 

"When the entire Omniversal Cosmos collapses, it will give rise to a fully realized Chaos Wave in its truest form."
