At that moment, Lorna suddenly rushed in front of Zane and released a light wave toward the mottled energy pillar.

"Honey, it's my turn to step in!"

Lorna stood firmly in front of Zane, completely unafraid as she faced the approaching devourer of planets.,

Zane was about to say something when he noticed the energy pillar twisting upon itself like a tangled ball of thread, its ends tightly coiled together.

The Cosmic Spacetime Membrane is a critical hypothesis in superstring theory, upon which the concept of wormholes is based. 

The theory posits that breaking through the spacetime membrane could lead to another universe.

At that moment, Lorna suddenly flickered and silently appeared beside the planet devourer.

By now, the spacetime surrounding the devourer had morphed into a multi-dimensional construct, akin to undulating waters constantly shifting.

Even Zane admitted to himself that he couldn't leave no trace like Lorna had just done.

The planet devourer was momentarily stunned when Lorna appeared beside him so suddenly, finding it a little hard to believe. 

Then, as he saw Lorna swinging her fist at him, a trace of disdain flickered in his eyes.

But in the next instant, his pupils contracted sharply as another fist appeared from the opposite direction at the exact moment Lorna's fist touched him.

"Is that a doppelgänger?" Zane asked.

"No, it's Phantom Shift. A doppelgänger wouldn't even be able to get close to the planet devourer in his current state."

Roma clarified again, noticing Zane's puzzled expression, and continued:

"Phantom Shift is like Schrödinger's cat in the quantum field."

"On Earth, your people have also studied the normal distribution properties of the quantum field."

"This means that even an ordinary Earthling, with no superpowers, has a billionth-of-a-billionth chance of passing through walls."

"Certain individuals can precisely grasp that probability, simultaneously manifesting in two entirely different spacetime states."

"Such individuals are referred to as Phantoms."

"Then why can Lorna suddenly do this?" Zane asked.

"I suspect it's the power of the Goddess," Roma replied, "gradually elevating her potential toward a higher universal level."

In the Ghost Realm, the Goddess of Death remained seated on her high-backed chair, gazing at the scene on Zane's side through the ghostly flames. 

Around her chair, an increasing number of large round heads hovered—these were the 'parallels' of deceased Planet Devourer, who also anxiously watched the ghostly flames.

When they saw the Devourer in the scene being struck down by Lorna's punch, they began chattering among themselves:

"Can you believe it? That guy from universe 616 got knocked down by a woman—and an Earthling woman at that."

"What an embarrassment to us Planet Devourer."

"1315, have you even considered who the opponent is? That's a Phantom, a phenomenon so rare that it hasn't appeared in the [Omniverse] in billions of years."

"Phantoms are inherently unpredictable, not only manifesting with the full power of the source but also leaving no trace of their movements. It's like facing countless invisible enemies all at once."

"Tch. But still, it was his own stupidity. Summoning the multiverse at this time? He basically handed the Phantom the perfect environment to hide."

"Not to mention, he instantly destroyed our [Ultimate Nullifier], which we all contributed to creating…"

As the round heads argued endlessly, the Goddess of Death abruptly stood up from her chair. Her gaze turned icy as she looked at them and said in a ghostly tone:

"Talking about your leader, 616, like this? Not very loyal of you, is it?"

"Should I go fetch him right now to keep you company?"

As she spoke, she adjusted the black robe draped over her body, pulling it closer to her form and accentuating her curves. Her tone became playful:

"Alright then, my dear dimensional Planet Devourers, I'm heading out now."

"Stay put and don't cause trouble, or you know very well what will happen."

The moment she finished speaking, her figure vanished in a flash of light.

The round heads immediately huddled together in fear. They were all too familiar with the strict rules of the Nether River Ghost Realm. 

More importantly, none of them could hope to win a one-on-one fight against the Goddess of Death—it would be pure suicide.

After she left, they collectively returned their focus to the scene in the ghostly flames.

In the image, the Planet Devourer was shakily getting back to his feet. He spat out a puff of white smoke and mocked himself:

"Am I so weak from hunger that I can't even defeat a mere woman from Earth?"

"It seems I really brought this on myself."

The Planet Devourer glanced at Lorna, then at the heavy shadows lingering around him. With a raised hand, the shadows rapidly converged, forming a spherical energy barrier around him.

It resembled the electric energy aura surrounding a Super Saiyan 2 after transformation.

"This energy shield allows me to concentrate 100% of my energy without any leakage that might accidentally destroy this fragile primary universe."

"Since you, woman, possess cosmic-level temporal powers, I'll show you what it feels like to face the most primal and destructive force of my physical form."

Boom!

The Planet Devourer, now like a humanoid fireball blazing with ferocious flames, rushed toward Lorna at full speed.

At that moment, Zane flickered into action, instantly appearing in front of Lorna. 

With a light touch of both hands on her, he transported her into the [Divine Realm] contained within the black orb on his neck.

Zane knew that, while Lorna's power was astonishing, her lack of combat experience left her at a disadvantage against the current Planet Devourer. 

Even though the [Divine Realm] ensured immortality, Zane didn't want her to continue this fight.

"Lorna, you've already impressed me beyond measure. Now it's time for a man to finish this quickly."

As soon as Zane finished speaking, Lorna turned into a stream of light and entered the [Divine Realm].

At the same time, the Planet Devourer, brimming with overwhelming energy, charged straight at Zane.
