Maxing out my luck in a cultivation world

Brand New Home

Two days, with the extra yin energy and moonlight it took two days to gain proper control over yin energy. One effect of gaining this improved control was how it allowed her to see and interact with normal Qi.

Byron doesn't want to risk absorbing Qi without a technique, because it definitely won't produce great results. Think of it as someone who knows karate fighting someone who doesn't.

The one who knows karate will absolutely destroy the one who doesn't. This thought process is her reasoning for not directly absorbing Qi.

Currently Byron has broken through into Muscle Refinement 1. This realm boosted both strength and agility. Just like bone refinement those stats would reach 10x the original value after completing the stage.

One important difference Byron noticed was how she got 2 stat points this time for the one stage. Obviously they were distributed into the luck stat, but getting twice as many stat points is a great improvement.

Knowing that she is now 50% faster then before she considered going for one of the horned rabbits, but those little guys were at least 2x faster then her starting speed.

For the moment she was considering rolling an "everything gacha" in the system. She had 110 achievement points anyways.

With all of her breakthroughs in bone refinement realm giving 10 achievement points, and the muscle refinement giving double that. 100+20-10 = 110.

She has 2 chances to get something good, and with her luck she'll probably get something useful.

"System, roll 2 everything gachas" she says, praying for something good.

[Confirmed! Spending 100 achievement points for

x2 Everything Gacha]

[Gained 1x Light Mirage technique (S grade rare) - Qi cultivation technique which allows manipulation of light, specializing in mirage techniques. When fully mastered, it allows manipulation of light itself on a major scale.]

[Gained 3x Auto Use Unlucky Cultivation Gacha attempts (A grade rare)]

[Using Unlucky Cultivation Gacha attempts!]

[Gained 1x Cultivation Abolishing Pill (F grade Legendary) - Completely abolishes every form of cultivation from the one who ingests the pill, almost completely useless as it takes way too much to make and its negative effects can be achieved by destroying the daintain.]

[Gained 1x useless talisman (F grade common) - is a failed talisman with no effect, has a complete lightning talisman design but lacked sufficient qi in the process of writing to form a working talisman.]

[Gained 1x Humble Abode (A grade Epic) - A nice looking house, similar to what you would imagine an outer disciple of a small sect would live in]

'I CAN GET GACHA ROLLS FROM A GACHA ROLL???? good to know... also this was quite the lucky attempt, or average for me now maybe?'

Selecting the Light Mirage Technique, she feels a great amount of information flowing into her brain, but this time she doesn't stumble from the overload.

The Light Mirage Technique is one that uses the properties of light and how it reflects, to bend it and form mirages or make anything invisible (at its most basic form).

This is a Great technique! only issue is it requires the user's inner Qi to expand out and become an invisible refractive surface. Currently Byron has none.

'Looking at the bright side of things (badum tss) I have this technique for the future at least?

Next is the Cultivation Abolishing Pill, it's an item that's seen as useless by cultivators normally, but this seems quite useful when it comes to changing cultivation techniques.

Maybe when I get some super divine technique I can abolish my cultivation and switch to that! otherwise I'd need to severely injure myself by removing my cultivation in other ways.

This doesn't seem too useless to me!!

Next is the Talisman. This one can be useful because of its design it comes with. I might be able to re-create the design and infuse it with Qi to make my own working talismans!

Lastly..... AN ENTIRE HOUSE???? its almost as if the system wants me to live in the forest and train for a while....'

Dumbstruck by the fact she got an entire house, she decides not to think too hard about it. Making her current goal is to get a Qi cultivation technique. This is to extend her lifespan, and to use the new Qi technique.

What's the point of having a technique if you don't use it right?

Currently Byron is looking for a nice plot of land to put her home. Preferably next to a moving water source to let her wash her only set of clothes (which for some odd reason are extremely durable).

About 5~ miles(8~ km) away from the yin devouring flowers (Byron decided to call them that) there was a nice relatively flat plot of land 20-30 feet(7.6~ meters) away from a medium sized river.

The river flows down off of a decently large mountain. There is definitely a waterfall somewhere on the mountain.

'Maybe I could be cliché and cultivate under a waterfall as a joke' snickering to herself at the thought.

After clearing out an area, Byron removes the house from her inventory. Notably a house didn't appear, instead a card appeared in her hand with an image of the house on it.

Surprisingly enough the card had some writing on it, It told her to place it where she wanted it to be and imagine the house there. So she followed the card's instructions and out of nowhere a house appeared right where the card was.

She looked at her inventory and to her surprise she could recall her house like any other item. This seemed both surprising and not-surprising at the same time.

On one hand its strange to be able to have a house anywhere anytime she wanted. On the other hand it's been found as a feature of the system so it should have been obvious.

Nonetheless She took this chance to clean her clothes. She took off everything, Then she scrubbed every part of the clothes. Once everything was clean it was left on the house floor to dry.

While her clothes were drying she washed herself off in the lake. Somehow her hair was still naturally spiky and always looked styled.

While her first time ever cleaning herself off was awkward, she accepted the fact it had to happen for good hygiene and she cleaned her clothes and body at least once a week.

She used to let her clothes dry on the trees. Having a house is very convenient. Once she finished bathing in the river she travelled to her new home and studied the Light Mirage Technique in her mind.

After looking through it for around an hour one move caught her eye. It said it required absolutely no Qi to preform because it simply required precise control over external Qi flow.

This move was the weakest move in the technique but it could be used as a base to massively reduce Qi expended for each use of the technique.

'I could use this to train my Qi control, Maybe this technique isn't so useless at the moment after all!' feeling lucky that this technique had something like this within it.

All she had to do was follow specific directions repeatedly. She needed to form a triangle with her fingers, and use it as a kind of prism to refract light in controllable manners.

Instead of outputting and solidifying Qi with a mirror-like nature, this allows external Qi to become glassy and redirect light through it. You can change it to be like a magnifying glass as well.

So she formed the triangle between her hands and started to practice. Hoping to increase her cultivation speeds with this technique.
