ALL NOVEL 36 – A princess saved by a fox
From the bushes the figure of a girl emerged. She dashed fanatically and crashed into my chest. Of course I didn't feel anything from the impact. But an audible *BOING* could be heard and she fell back on her butt. My breasts might be big, but using them as airbags…
Leaving that aside this girl was definitely an elf judging by her pointy ears. And she has the appearance of a young girl. Although elves can live for hundreds of years she doesn't look older than maybe 15.
"Ouch! Eh? Who are you? No. That doesn't matter. You have to get out of here. It's dangerous!!"
As she said that from the same bushes 3 large ice arrows were fired and headed over.
"Miss!! Dodge!!!"
*Puff*
I simply puffed my cheeks and gently blew. The arrows completely disintegrated on contact with my breath.
"Dodge? Why would I dodge some toothpicks?"
Trying to attack me with ice is the equivalent of trying to stop lava with a torch.
"Care to explain what's going on here?"
"Eh? That is…"
"Princess!! We need to hurry!!"
Another voice followed by another girl. This one was a woman. A proper woman, but she wasn't an elf. Judging by her bear ears she's probably part of the beastmen race. She's got a better figure compared to this elf. However she immediately pointed her sword at us.
"Princess, I will hold them off. Please run!"
"Princess? Hold your horses there lady. I have no business with you two. Is that how you greet everyone that comes by? Your manners could use adjusting."
"Why you…"
"Lecia, stop! Please lower your blade. I don't think they're with those after us."
Are these guys being chased by someone? What’s the princess doing alone in the woods? Shouldn’t she have an army guarding her? Remia made her same really important at this point of time, so it’s hard to believe the elves would allow her to do something as reckless as this.
“Guaaah!”
I could hear the swing of a sword. Fresh blood gushed from behind those 2 girls. A body soon followed, making a large thump as it hit the ground.
“Shit! They caught up already.” (Lecia)
A bunch of goons wearing robes with scarves covering their mouths. And the weapons they have aren’t too shabby either. Mercenaries perhaps? I can pretty much guess the scenario. Well, most of it at least.
“End of the line ladies! But, what do we have here? You girls over there. You don’t look like elves. I, the great Celsius, am allowing you to flee. You can thank the Gods that I’m sparing your lives.”
*Clap**Clap*
“Wow! That really is a nice offer you're making, mister. Normally I would be all in for it as this doesn’t concern me. However, I’m afraid I can’t turn my back. I have business in the elven kingdom myself. So I can’t let this slide. But, I’m giving you the same offer out of courtesy. Turn around and go home and I won’t kill you.”
“Hahaha!”
The guy that kept laughing like an idiot had a pair of oni horns, his hair was gray, his eyes blue and his skin was white. He had an elegant robe and a fancy staff. The staff looked like a white branch with a blue ice looking jewel attached to it.
“Haven’t had a laugh like that in ages. Oi, I stated my name. You have gots to not run in fear.”
“Run? From you? Why would I run from such a mosquito like yourself?”
“Mosquito? You dare insult me? I who have reached the pinnacle of ice magic? I’ll have you know I am the greatest ice wizard there is. I’m level 80!”
The atmosphere was tense. The elf princess was scared and the bear girl was sweating and looking dumbfounded at me. She looks ready to pounce at any moment. Is she thinking of using us as a diversion so they can escape? Well, such things won’t matter.
“Sasha, Stella, please clear out all the nameless background characters. Leave that chatty insect to me.”
“Roger!” (x2)
Sasha and Stella dashed towards their targets. White bastard was watching me without moving his gaze.
“Kuh. You really think you are a match for me? Then die for your foolishness!! [Frost Hammer]!”
As the name implies a giant hammer was swung from his staff and aimed at me. For an ordinary person this would be something troublesome to deal with. However, for me… I simply raised my hand to stop the impact.
“Child’s play. Now freeze!”
“What the!?”
His ice was swallowed by mine. And then one small gesture was enough to break the entire structure.
“You really call yourself the strongest ice wizard? What a joke. You haven’t reached true coldness at all. I can topple spells like these as if they were toy blocks.”
“Fuh. Now, you’re getting on my nerves. It seems that I underestimated you. But that’s over now! Let me show you the depths of my magic! For I have reached the abyss of cold!!”
"Kuh. You're an insult. You claim you reached the abyss of cold, but in fact you're nothing more than a little ice cube used to cool off a drink."
"Shut up! [Snow Tornado]!"
As the name implies, from his staff a horizontal tornado made of pure snow was unleashed. It was big enough to engulf 3 people at once.
"You really don't get it. I rule over winter."
Doing a karate chop from left to right was all it took to intercept his attack and make it vanish, leaving behind only small snowflakes.
"You're not worth my time. That's why… come forth [Glaciar Chimera]!"
Everything around me froze solid. And behind me a giant creature made of ice emerged. The head of a lion, the upper body of a human, the lower body of a scorpion and 4 arms.
"Hiii! Backup! Men I need…"
As mister ice cube turned around he couldn't help but lose his words. All 30 of his subordinates have been completely annihilated by my lolis. The two of them were covered in blood but had a happy smile on their faces.
"This can't be… just what in the world are you? Cold… I can actually feel… cold…"
"Who knows. You can try figuring it out in the afterlife."
*Snap*
As I snapped my fingers, my chimera let out a ferocious roar and started to pummel mister ice cube in a good old ora ora ora fashion. The ground shook and froze with each punch. And eventually, life faded out of that idiot.
