"This is- the Versatile Gods Weapon Set!" His surprise could be clearly seen on Feng's face as he looked at the dozens of weapons inside the Arsenal Harness.

One of the Six Great Legendary Weapon Sets of his God's Domain, the Versatile Gods Set, had randomly appeared before Feng, and with so many of the weapons belonging to the Set as well.

Unlike other Weapon Sets which consist of two to three, in rare cases four, weapons, the Versatile Gods Weapon Set is a set of an unknown number of weapons that instead of being used by just one player, is a Weapon Set meant to be wielded by a group of players.

As long as two players wielding weapons belonging to the Versatile Gods Set were within a certain distance from each other, some of the Set effects would activate and the players would gain strength with the other's presence.

The more weapons belonging to the Versatile Gods Weapon Set that were gathered in one place and wielded by players, the more strength they would get.

In the previous timeline, Feng had heard that a Super-first Rate Guild that was fighting against one of the Five Great Super Guilds had sent six Tier 5 players wielding different pieces of the Versatile Gods Set at Fragmented Legendary rank into battle against the Super Guild's experts, with them being outnumbered four to one in the war and having much worse combat standards overall than their opponent.

However, to everybody's surprise, the Super-first Rate Guild had actually managed to force a stalemate when all of the players involved and spectating thought the smaller guild would get completely annihilated, thanks to the six players. Their party had even defeated two Tier 5 players wielding Legendary Weapons when the Super Guild's experts worked together despite the six players' weapons being inferior in rank, while later they had even fought on even ground against a Tier 6 player for a bit.

Even Feng was shocked upon hearing the news, and after he and various powers investigated the source of the six players' immense strength, they discovered what kind of weapons the players were wielding.

Afterwards, the value of weapons belonging to the Versatile Gods Set skyrocketed as all of the powers attempted to locate more of them, the actual number of the weapons making up the Set not yet being known.

Though not many were found, their ranks ranging from Dark-Gold to Fragmented Legendary, and the powers eventually gave up their hunt for the weapons since they were extremely rare and would require a lot of resources to upgrade many of them to the point they'd be useful, while only when several of the weapons were gathered together could they be called truly powerful.

Their full power and value were later revealed even further, however, when the Super-first Rate Guild upgraded its six Set Weapons to Legendary rank after growing stronger, becoming a force to be reckoned with and reaching the rank of Super Guilds with the upgraded weapons, even gaining the strength to survive in the Greater God's Domain for a while against the powers there.

Feng had thought of collecting the Versatile Gods Set, along with the other four of the Six Great Legendary Weapon Sets, after obtaining the Two-Sided Moon Set from Anubis, but with him having no idea how many weapons there were in the Set and where to find them, it would be difficult to search for the pieces, and he'd have to use an Ancient Document in order to locate and gather them.

Shockingly enough, Feng accidentally came across the Versatile Gods Set in the Blood Refining Passage, the weapons now being Bronze rank Legacy Weapons instead of what Feng had previously seen them as. Furthermore, he also finally got the answer to what everybody who knew about the Weapon Set had been asking - how many Set Weapons there were in the Versatile Gods Set.

Many had previously made predictions at the total number of weapons making up the Versatile Gods Set, but no one had a confirmed number as there were lots of rumors surrounding all of the Six Great Legendary Weapons Sets, and especially the Versatile Gods Set due to how unique it was even in the Universal God's Domain; let alone in this Elementary God's Domain.

Some sources say that there were 18, some 20, some 50, and some even said that there were over a hundred weapons in the Set. Today, through the Arsenal Harness, Feng discovered the real number was actually 73.

What was even more stupefying was that Feng had just obtained 72 of them from simply killing a Level 50 Legendary monster. Considering the Blood Saint's strength and the power necessary to defeat the Undead in the Blood Refining Passage, it only made sense the rewards were out of this world, but simply the items inside the Arsenal Harness and the toolbelt itself was already a bit much for just one kill; not to mention it also dropped one of the Ten Great Saint Legacies and another powerful item.

Though, the weapons that the Blood Saint had used became Bronze ranked Legacy Weapons after the Legendary monster's death and the Arsenal Harness absorbing them, much different from the pieces of the Versatile Gods Set that Feng had seen during the previous timeline, which greatly decreased their value due to the low rank of the weapons.

After Feng inspected all the weapons on the toolbelt, he saw that, unlike Legacy Weapons such as the Destroyer of Immortality or the Seraphim of Virtue, along with a Legacy Tool like Arsenal Harness, which are ranked through tiers with conditions the Legacy holder had to fulfill in order to upgrade them, they were ranked like regular items.

All of the weapons started off as Bronze items and needed to be upgraded to Legendary rank in order for their true power to be shown, which required certain resources to do. Most of the weapons had different conditions for their upgrade, so just turning them all into Mysterious-Iron weapons would be a massive chore. It naturally need not be said how difficult and costly upgrading them all to Legendary rank would be.

Most importantly, though, was the fact that these seventy two Legacy Weapons were not strictly tied to the Weapon Saint Legacy as a requirement for equipping them, and anyone with the correct class could use the weapons.

This was undoubtedly amazing news, as this way, even without Feng being in possession of the Weapon Saint Legacy or having someone suitable for it, he could still arm his guild members with the weapons in order to create a powerful force in Zero Wing.

By taking out the weapons from the Arsenal Harness and equipping a group of the restored members with the Weapon Set after upgrading all of them to a sufficient rank, Feng could form the Versatile Gods Legion and assign tasks to it that the Burning Wing Legion members could not handle but weren't important enough for the Main Force to take action; adding a trump card Legion to Zero Wing's ranks.

It actually might even be a better option than giving someone the Weapon Saint Legacy and letting them use the Legacy Weapons, as Feng could establish the Legion at any time and get past the difficulty of finding someone who could fully use it and the high requirements for activating the Legacy inside the skull; needing the assistance of a Sky Warrior[1], a Sky Knight[2], a Berserk Emperor, a Sword Emperor, a Night Walker, and an Elemental Hunter[3] for the activation.

Feng could already envision a full group of Zero Wing members wielding the Versatile Gods Set weapons and wearing matching Equipment Sets, looking cool while walking unhindered through God's Domain.

That would take a lot of time and resources to prepare and organize, since even having the weapons at Epic rank would limit its abilities when taking into account how Feng planned to use the Versatile Gods Legion, and the Legacy Weapons would first need to be upgraded to Fragmented Legendary rank.

Having gotten into a great mood with this extraordinary acquisition, Feng placed the Arsenal Harness in his bag and moved on to the last item dropped by the Blood Saint.

The drop was a golden-rimmed book, same as the other two books Feng had previously obtained in the Blood Refining Passage from the first Blood Warrior and Blood Champion that he had killed. On the book's cover, the words Solomon's Creations were written.

Upon picking up the book, a system notification reached Feng.

System: You have discovered a part of Solomon's Book. Do you wish to combine the fragment into the Solomon's Book?

Clicking "Yes", Solomon's Book flew out of his bag while Solomon's Creations met it in midair, the smaller book dropped by the Blood Saint being absorbed by the golden book, its aura growing exponentially.

He then inspected Solomon's Book to see its changes.

[Solomon's Book]

A record created by Solomon, the Ancient God of Thunder. It contains the knowledge he left behind and is a testament to the Thunder God's power. Of the seven volumes of Solomon's Book, it currently contains only the Third Volume, the Sixth Volume, and the Seventh Volume.

Third Volume, Solomon's Record:

Contains a record of powerful skills. Mastering each consecutive skill will unlock the next, even more powerful record.

Record One: Tier 5 Skill, Worldly Purification.

Second Record: Unavailable (Master the First Record in order to unlock)

(The rest of the records are unavailable)

Sixth Volume, Solomon's Treasure:

An Ancient Document that allows one to access God's Domain's database and place an inquiry. (Uses remaining: 0). Contains information on the location of fragments belonging to the Philosopher's Stone.

Seventh Volume, Solomon's Creations

Contains the record of everything created by Solomon during his time, still possessing some information on their whereabouts.

Additional Passive Skill: Solomon's Past

Detect the presence of anything related to Solomon within a 2,000,000-yard radius of Solomon's Book.

From the Blood Saint dropped the seventh and final volume of Solomon's Book in its chronology, being a record of all the things Solomon had created in the past. A passive skill came along with it, which will be of great value for locating Solomon's creations such as the rest of Solomon's Book's volumes, or it would be useful in obtaining all the fragments of Solomon's Sword if Feng didn't already know where they were from his previous life.

Looking through the information recorded in the Seventh Volume, Feng discovered that everything which he knew the Ancient God of Thunder had made, along with a few things whose creator was previously unknown to Feng and a couple of them that he had never even heard of, was written about in the record of Solomon's Creations.

The volume worked as an already used large-scale Ancient Document that had everything related to Solomon, containing information on items like Solomon's Book, depicting its history and all of its volumes, having clues about the whereabouts of each volume from which Feng now knew where and how to obtain the remaining four volumes, as well of places like the Thunder God's Secret Land.

Although not as detailed as an actual Ancient Document, the scale at which Solomon's Creations contains information far surpassed the small bit of concrete info a single inquiry provided from an Ancient Document.

Most of it was of some use and value of Feng, so he considered it a worthwhile effort. When he reached the final page of Solomon's Book and read its contents, however, Feng froze.

On the final page, information on two of Solomon's works was written, similar to the rest, but it was which treasures left behind by Solomon the page depicted that shocked Feng. The entire last page was dedicated to Solomon's Sword, and the Thunder God's final creation.

Feng wasn't a stranger to the Ancient God of Thunder. After all, he was the creator of Solomon's Sword which he used for a while in his previous life, and Solomon's Sword was considered one of God's Domain's Ten Great Legendary Weapons.

As one of the oldest Ancient Gods, the Ancient God of Thunder had created many swords during his existence. Among them, the most famous one was none other than Solomon's Sword. However, few people knew that Solomon's Sword wasn't a completed product but a half-finished product instead.

The reason for that was that nobody had ever managed to gather all of the necessary fragments, not even Feng.

After Feng had acquired Solomon's Sword and used it for some time, he realized that the weapon was actually missing half of its power source. Meanwhile, after doing some research, he discovered that the remaining half was inside the Ancient God of Thunder's final creation.

Both Solomon's Sword and the Final Creation were put together on this final page, so Feng concluded that his previous inclination was correct.

Solomon's Sword was talked about first on the page, its history, and the fact it was broken into fragments being written, along with some information on the fragments.

The complete Solomon's Sword had long since disappeared. It had been shattered during the Great Destruction. Solomon's Sword broke into five fragments and had been scattered throughout God's Domain. Later, different people had found each of these fragments. These people had recast the shattered fragments to form new weapons.

Each of these new weapons contained an immense power. However, due to the passage of time, the inhabitants of God's Domain had forgotten about Solomon's Sword. Instead, these five weapons had shaken God's Domain with their might, their names passed down by the common populace.

As the fragments of Solomon's Sword had not been equal, the might of the new weapons differed from each other.

Solomon's Creations had a sizeable amount of information on these five swords as well. Their clear location wasn't given, but the five swords', Killing Ray, Netherworld Brilliance, Disaster Blade, Night Slayer, and Broken Steel, info and clues to how to find them were provided on the page.

Among the created weapons, the most famous was the third-ranking sword on God's Domain's Famed Swords List, Broken Steel. Feng had also witnessed the sword's might personally.

Although it was not a Legendary Weapon, its Attributes and Skills were not much weaker than a Legendary Weapon.

As the most powerful sword among the weapons recreated from the fragments of Solomon's Sword, Broken Steel was, naturally, the most difficult to obtain among the five weapons.

Even if Feng wanted the challenge of obtaining it right now, only death would await him.

Among the five recreated weapons, three could not be obtained before reaching Level 100. He could only go to find two while he was below Level 100.

Feng's guild members had already obtained Netherworld Brilliance, one of those two swords, during this time, and Feng was only left with acquiring Killing Ray himself.

After becoming strong enough, Feng could get the remaining three and once again piece back together Solomon's Sword.

The value of this information was only secondary, not even valuable to Feng, though, and it was the last bit talking about the Ancient God of Thunder's final creation that left Feng speechless.

"The sword that I failed to find in my last life... It's no wonder why I couldn't find it no matter how much I searched the Main Continent." Feng couldn't help but reveal a bitter smile as he looked at the last item written about in Solomon's Book.

In his previous life, Feng had searched high and low for this sword, but ended up with no results no matter where he looked, even after attempting to use an Ancient Document. Now he finally understood why he never managed to find it after reading about its information in Solomon's Book.

It turned out that the final creation, Winter of Eternal Night, wasn't actually on the Main Continent of Feng's God's Domain, but a miniature world belonging to it.

"Miniature Ancient World?" A thoughtful expression appeared on Feng's face after seeing the name of the Otherworld within which Winter of Eternal Night resided, recalling something about it moments later.

During the previous timeline, Feng remembered that his God's Domain was supposed to connect with a miniature world called the Miniature Ancient World. Sharlyn had informed him about it in advance and even the system announced an expansion pack for it early on before the two worlds had even begun to form a connection.

However, due to several reasons and disturbances caused by the wars with powers trying to invade his God's Domain, with Feng even having to move the Elementary God's Domain using Sharlyn's authority from its original place, the process was interrupted, and his God's Domain never managed to connect with the Miniature Ancient World.

At the time, Feng only thought of it as a shame he didn't get the chance to explore the Miniature Ancient World, especially since it was a fragment of his own God's Domain that was a very special place, but didn't grieve over it too much.

Now, however, he greatly regretted not trying to locate that Miniature Ancient World since aside from how much he would have benefited from obtaining Winter of Eternal Night and using its power source to complete Solomon's Sword, there were surely other incredible things that could have been of extreme value to him and Zero Wing there.

After rueing over the ironic situation of finally knowing where the final creation is now that he no longer had Solomon's Sword on him for a moment, Feng wiped his bitter smile away. Although Solomon's Sword's fragments were currently scattered across God's Domain right now and he needed to collect them again, it was still a good start to have gained intel on the Winter of Eternal Night.

There was no one to compete with him over the swords and get them before him, or even bother Feng in this timeline, so he can take his time in getting both Solomon's Sword and Winter of Eternal Night in order to finish what he started during his previous life.

All that was left was figuring out how to get to the Miniature Ancient World as fast as possible and get his hands on the Thunder God's final creation. Sharlyn would most likely be of some assistance in that task, so Feng planned on prioritizing recovering her strength and dealing with the Scholar while gathering Solomon's Sword's fragments.

While Feng was pondering over this discovery and the things that could entail from it, a system notification sounded in his ears.

System: Inferior Mythical Quest "Solomon's Final Sword" activated.

Quest details: Complete Solomon's Sword, one of the Ten Great Legendary Weapons, within one year.

Rewards Unknown. Penalties Unknown.

The unexpected Legendary Quest caught Feng off guard, never having thought he'd trigger a Legendary Quest by simply reading a book. Moreover, it was a Quest that required him to complete Solomon's Sword, something that he could do fairly easily as he had accomplished the feat within one year in his previous life, much less in this timeline.

But the name of the Legendary Quest, along with its high rank, gave Feng a different impression. Solomon's Sword wasn't the Ancient God of Thunder's final sword, and if the Quest required him to only repair Solmon's Sword to its Legendary state, it wasn't exactly as difficult as an Inferior Mythical Quest should be.

Nevertheless, speculating wouldn't get him anywhere, and he didn't appear to have a choice in the matter of whether he'd be doing the Quest or not, having automatically accepted Solomon's Final Sword without getting the option to refuse.

Hence, Feng simply moved on.

Apart from the three incredible items, the Blood Saint had also left behind a large orb of Life Essence, bigger than any Feng had ever seen before. Upon allowing the Blood Refining Crystal to absorb it, five hundred points of Life Essence were added to its storage, forming into five Life Crystals.

By this point, Feng had managed to collect over twenty Life Crystals from killing the groups of Blood Emperors and the Blood Saint.

There was also the astronomical amount of EXP he had gained for killing the Legendary monster as a Tier 1 player. Although it was only a Level 50 one, while Feng was Level 50 as well, the EXP provided by a Legendary monster was far above what one obtains from Superior Mythics, and the monsters in the Blood Refining Passage by themselves gave more EXP than other monsters.

If not for Feng's Level currently being restricted to Level 50, Feng didn't doubt that he'd rise by at least twenty to thirty levels. It did serve a great purpose, though, as Feng immediately leveled up Wordly Purification to Tier 4 Lower-rank, and still had enough to push it to Tier 4 Middle-rank, as well as a bit towards Upper-rank.

With another bonified Tier 4 skill added to his roster, Feng's combat power had received a massive increase.

Finally settling all his gains from defeating the Blood Saint, Feng strolled towards the end of the Blood Refining Passage. At the end of the corridor, a wall cut off the passage, in front of which a Magic Crystal Treasure Chest silently sat.

When Feng reached it, he indeed confirmed it was a purple-runed Magic Crystal Treasure Chest. The treasure chest radiated so much Mana that it nearly reached a solid form around it.

God's Domain had many different kinds of treasure chests, and although the most common were made of wood or metal, not all items in the game could be stored in wood or metal treasure chests. Certain special items needed to be stored in high Mana density environments. For these items, the system used chests made from Magic Crystals. Such treasure chests were insanely rare in God's Domain, and naturally, they were far more valuable than ordinary chests.

These Magic Crystal Treasure Chests also had a different ranking system than ordinary treasure chests. Their ranks were based on the color of the runes engraved on the crystal.

The runes came in Silver, Gold, and Purple. Silver was at the bottom of the list, while purple runes offered the best items.

In God's Domain, a Silver Magic Crystal Treasure Chest was the equivalent of a Fine-Gold or Dark-Gold Treasure Chest, a Gold Magic Crystal Treasure Chest was on par with an Epic Treasure Chest, and a Purple Magic Crystal Treasure Chest was the equivalent of an Inferior Legendary Treasure Chest or higher.

Obtaining a Purple Magic Crystal Treasure Chest was incredibly difficult as they were even rarer than Inferior Legendary Treasure Chests, and any one of them was as valuable as a Legendary item.

Whenever such a Magic Crystal Treasure Chest was discovered, huge wars would ensue between all of the powers who knew of its existence.

Feng getting his hands on this chest was undeniably a great boon, especially considering his high Luck, making the Purple Magic Crystal Treasure Chest's value as great as a Legendary Chest's.

It was definitely worth killing through all the monsters on the way here and fighting the Blood Saint for this chest, though the drops themselves were enough of a reward when considering the Legendary Undead's loot.

While inspecting the Magic Crystal Treasure Chest, Feng noticed something else. Unable to previously see it due to blending in with the walls of the Blood Refining Passage and the Purple Magic Crystal Treasure Chest's immense Mana, Feng was now able to see a one-meter tall, blood-red skeleton statue on top of the chest after approaching it.

Using the Eyes of Truth on the skeleton statue, Feng received another shock today.

[Sacred Beast Statue (Blood-devouring Beast)] (Epic Rank, Unique Item)

One of 12 stone sculptures of Sacred Beasts made by Cerecolo Barrestan. It holds incredible power.

Feng never expected to run into another of the twelve Sacred Beast Statues here in the Blood Refining Passage, making the trip exponentially more profitable. With this statue along with the one Feng obtained from the Wolfstein Empire's Treasury and the ones which Feng knew where and how to get, Zero Wing's members will have a much easier time in unlocking their Mana Bodies and for their Tier 5 Promotions down the line since the power of the statues was much greater when there were more of them around.

Storing the Blood-devouring Beast statue, Feng chose to collect the Purple Magic Crystal Treasure Chest as well despite it already being unlocked, not planning on opening it for now and instead leaving it to be fully profited from on a later date.

After finishing his business in the Blood Refining Passage and making sure he hadn't missed anything, Feng left the passageway, going back out through the exit, before flying to the Dragon's Maw map that was nearby.

The Dragon's Maw was one of the regional maps found at the Top of the World. It was a Level 60 map. However, the area was far more dangerous than any ordinary Level 60 map.

In the first timeline, the map had even claimed the lives of many Tier 4 players. Moreover, they had died tragically. Not only had they lost some EXP and a piece of equipment, but they also permanently lost Basic Attributes upon death.

However, the fact that a Level 60 map had even caused the deaths of Tier 4 players was more than a little intimidating.

The Dragon's Maw was only a short distance from Mount Sogar. Feng only needed to travel across two leveling areas. After he left the Blood Refining Passage, Feng reached the map quickly.

His goal was to obtain the weapon hidden in the Dragon's Maw, one of Solomon's Sword's fragments, Killing Ray.

If one wished to travel to the Top of the World through normal means, they would need the strength of a Tier 4 class at the very minimum. Unless, of course, they possessed a Tier 4 Position Teleportation Scroll. However, such an item was extremely rare. A second Tier 4 Magic Scroll would most likely not appear in God's Domain for a long time. Hence, the chances of players reaching the Dragon's Maw were practically non-existent.

The Dragon's Maw was a map filled with steep and winding paths, and these paths extended down towards a bottomless crater. The crater looked just like a massive mouth that was trying to devour everything.

At this moment, Feng was standing at the entrance of a small path, looking down at the sight before him. The moment he arrived in front of the entrance, Feng received a system message that Solomon's Book had detected an item related to Solomon, which didn't come as a surprise to Feng.

He came here for that very item in the first place.

It was no wonder this place was called the Dragon's Maw. It's simply impossible to see the bottom of this crater from the entrance.

There was not a single monster present within Feng's field of vision. Nevertheless, his senses and intuition was telling him that there was something there.

Not wishing to waste too much time, Feng spread his wings and quickly descended the path. After traveling for a few minutes, he arrived at the bottom of the crater.

At the dark bottom, Feng discovered many lifelike stone statues carved in the form of various creatures: humans, Elves, Half-orcs, and many more. Every single one of these statues had an expression of horror on their faces. It was as if they had seen something extremely terrifying.

As Feng looked at these statues, the sounds of stone shattering entered his ears. Shifting his eyes towards the source of the sounds, Feng saw more than a dozen black shadows moving about. These black shadows were tiny, roughly the size of an ordinary person's fist. However, their speed was horrifying; it was practically impossible for the naked eye to keep up with them.

Meanwhile, these black shadows were currently approaching Feng at lightning speed.

[Quartz Worm] (Special Elite)

Level 60

HP 420,000/420,000

These Quartz Worms were made of black quartz crystals. In addition to their small bodies and astounding speed, they were extremely difficult to detect in this darkness. Although these Special Elites had low HP, their Attack Power was frighteningly high.

So many Quartz Worms would even kill a Tier 2 player instantly.

Without sparing the worms another glance, Feng activated Flame Domain. Everything around them was enveloped in violent flames as the Quartz Worms were burned alive, turning into small piles of ashes in the next moment.

Having instantly rid the Dragon's Maw of all its Quartz Worm inhabitants, Feng summoned the Salvage Corp ghosts and had them pick up the scattered drops.

Although the Quartz Worms had not provided much EXP, the loot they dropped was relatively good for Special Elites. Moreover, Feng had the Luck-increasing Icarus's Heart. The 60-plus Quartz Worms had dropped a very large amount of Level 50 or above Bronze and Mysterious-Iron Equipment. The Special Elites had even dropped a few Designs.

After Feng finished arranging the loot while waiting, for some reason, the external layer of stone on the statues began to fade, revealing these statues' original appearance.

Every one of these restored individuals radiated a frightening aura. Feng felt an immense pressure from these creatures and was overcome by a desire to flee.

However, these unpetrified individuals had noticed Feng.

With the eyes of these revived individuals on him, Feng did not dare to make any sudden movements.

Every one of these NPCs, be it human, Elf, or Half-orc, was a Level 150 being.

By all means, Feng was incredibly strong, but even a Common monster at this level had the power to potentially kill Feng due to the huge gap in levels, not to mention the humans and Elves, both of which were Tier 3 classes.

"Young man, was it you who saved us?" A middle-aged human male asked as he turned to Feng, his previous aura vanishing suddenly.

This middle-aged man was a Tier 3 Great Mage. Even in White River City, he would be considered a very powerful individual. Players would find it difficult to gain an audience with such a character.

"I'm not really sure. I merely cleared out the Quartz Worms residing here." Feng said truthfully.

Hearing Feng mention the Quartz Worms, these Level 150 NPCs examined their surroundings, bewilderment appearing on their faces. It was obvious that they, too, were unsure of the situation.

After these NPCs had a quiet chat among themselves, the Tier 3 Great Mage named Carrian Walker walked up to Feng.

"Although we are not sure of what happened exactly, we're certain that your actions saved us. As a show of our gratitude, we've unanimously decided to gift you this item," Carrian Walker said. He then took out a purple-gold, lightning-shaped emblem and carefully handed it over to Feng. "This emblem is our Imperial Army's Honorary Emblem. We hope that you will accept it."

Feng accepted the emblem and inspected its information.

[Thunder Emperor's Emblem]

This is the Honorary Emblem of the Thunder Beast Empire. This grants the wielder Honorary Citizenship within the Thunder Beast Empire.

Feng knew quite a bit about God's Domain's history. The Thunder Beast Empire had been one of the extremely powerful Empires in God's Domain. During its peak, its territory encompassed over a dozen kingdoms. On the continent of God's Domain, not a single Kingdom or Empire dared to act against it.

The ruler of the Thunder Beast Empire had been the Thunder Emperor Kaiser.

However, according to God's Domain's historical records, to pursue eternal life and become a God, Kaiser had broken many taboos. As a result, his actions had earned the anger of the Gods as the imperial capital had suddenly disappeared. Following the capital's disappearance, the Thunder Beast Empire had split into multiple kingdoms.

At this point, the Thunder Beast Empire had long since faded from existence.

Naturally, this Thunder Emperor's Emblem also held no meaning whatsoever.

"Young adventurer, although we have been freed, we have many companions still living under the curse. We hope that you can save them. If you succeed, we will present to you the Empire's greatest treasure," Carrian Walker said as he looked at Feng, his clear expectation reflecting in his eyes.

"Are you not coming with me?" Feng asked.

Carrian Walker shook his head and said, "Our time in this world has long since run out. Although the curse has been lifted, our strength wanes. Moreover, as we approach that place, we lose strength faster. At this point, only you can save our companions."

"Alright, then. I promise you. Where do I have to go to save your companions?" Despite knowing the details of what he had to do, Feng inquired in order to get the story going.

"We are merely people who had escaped the imperial capital. Our companions are still trapped in the capital. This is a map of the imperial capital. Hopefully, it will be of some help to you," Carrian Walker said. He then took out a map of the imperial capital and passed it to Feng.

System: Epic Quest "Empire's Past" accepted.

Quest content: Save the people inside the imperial capital within ten days. If the quest is not completed within the allotted time, you will be inflicted with the Petrification Curse. Rewards unknown.

An Epic Quest with a time limit of ten days was rare and meant that the quest would be exceptionally difficult. However, it was fairly reasonable considering what players could gain from it.

After Feng accepted the map, he continued flying through the Dragon's Maw's maze of the underground tunnels without even glancing at the map's contents, simply making his way forward using his memories.

Once Feng reached the Dragon's Maw's second underground layer, many Demonic Beasts appeared in the dark tunnels. With a single glance, Feng counted over 500. The monsters squeezed tightly together as they blocked Feng's path.

[Giant Petrified Rat] (Demonic Beast, Elite Rank)

Level 60

HP 300,000/300,000

When the Giant Rats saw Feng, they released ear-piercing screeches and pounced towards him. They showed no fear of the Level 99 human emitting an intense aura who possessed a level of Life Rating no less than that of a Dragon's.

Normally, even monsters would fear a powerful enemy, yet these Giant Rats were unafraid.

Meanwhile, these Giant Petrified Rats attacked in groups of a dozen or so. They would instantly devour players of the same level.

Moreover, these Giant Petrified Rats were special creatures. Whoever they bit would begin to show signs of petrification, a portion of their body turning a dull gray as the rats attacked until they fully turned into stone.

With such an ability, the Giant Petrified Rats had the potential to kill much more powerful opponents even with a gap of multiple tiers. Even Feng could be in danger if he allowed the rats to get multiple bites on him. Of course, there was no way he'd let the rats achieve something like that.

Without any hesitation, Feng unsheathed the Pandemonium Lashblade and used Thundering Flash, creating a sea of lightning that devoured the hundreds of rats. With the Giant Petrified Rats being merely Level 60 Elites, they weren't able to survive getting struck by the first lightning bolts, much less make it through the entirety of Thundering Flash.

The second underground floor was like a massive maze, and even Feng took a bit to make his way through it. Throughout his journey, he would occasionally encounter Giant Petrified Rats' nests and slaughter everything in sight before having the Salvage Ghosts collect the loot.

A dozen or so minutes later, Feng finally arrived at the staircase leading to the floor below.

The instant Feng's foot landed on the staircase, the view before him changed. He was transported to a fog-covered city. The sound of a system notification suddenly reached his ears.

System: You have discovered the Ruins of the Imperial Capital.

The Mana density here was intense.

Standing in the mist, Feng suddenly felt his mind become clear and ethereal. He could see the mist's true colors.

In God's Domain, when players found themselves in places with high Mana density, their minds would clear, and they would feel more energetic. This greatly aided in the improvement of their Skill Completion Rates and combat techniques.

With such a high Mana density, the boost one could get in this area is no less than the Hundred Berry Wine. If players fight and level up here, they could see improvements at least five or six times faster.

Looking around, Feng saw many Undead roaming down the lifeless city streets.

[Suffering Soul] (Undead, Elite Rank)

Level 60

HP 450,000/450,000

[Ghoul] (Undead, Special Elite)

Level 60

HP 700,000/700,000

These half-transparent Suffering Souls and Ghouls wandering about the city were not particularly numerous. A Level 60 party should be able to handle these monsters very easily.

Whether it was leveling up or improving one's Skill Completion Rate, grinding monsters here would be beneficial.

Examining his surroundings briefly, Feng jumped down from the rooftop and headed towards the Palace indicated on the map.

The city had long since died. Feng could see various statues haunting the city streets. These statues had all been citizens who had received the curse. However, killing those Undead would not lift the curse. Feng would have to deal with the problem at its source.

Among the people of the Thunder Beast Empire, only one person was capable of cursing an entire city.

Thunder Emperor Kaiser!

Emperor Kaiser had been a Tier 5 Sword Saint. He had only been a step away from becoming a Tier 6 God. Unfortunately, it had been so close, yet so far.

To players, the promotion from a Tier 5 class to Tier 6 required great opportunities, luck, and strength. It was even more so for an NPC, being practically impossible for them to reach the realm of Tier 6 without countless resources and fortuitous opportunities.

According to the legend, in order to pursue eternal life, Emperor Kaiser had mobilized his Empire to carry out a taboo.

Looking at it now, it was highly possible that said taboo was related to the curse currently plaguing the imperial capital.

Feng quickly arrived on top the roof of a building one street away from the Palace, his eyes landing onto the mechanical guards stationed on either side of the Palace gate.

[Thunder Beast Guard] (Grand Lord)

Level 200

HP ? ? ? ? ? ?/ ? ? ? ? ? ?

The Thunder Beast Guards' levels were just too high, so Feng could not see how much HP they had even with the Eyes of Truth. However, he could confirm one thing; their HP was mind-bogglingly high.

Normally, Grand Lords had six HP bars displayed. The Thunder Beast Guards had ten.

Furthermore, there were a total of eight Thunder Beast Guards in front of the Palace's entrance.

There were plenty of Undead roaming the streets in front of the Palace. However, not a single Suffering Soul came within 200 yards of the Palace gates. Only a few Ghouls would wander near.

Meanwhile, when a few occasional Ghouls and Suffering Souls tried to wander towards the gates, the Thunder Beast Guards vanquished them immediately. Only those few Ghouls remained unharmed.

The Palace was also protected by a Magic Array. In order to enter the Palace, Feng would either have to destroy the Magic Array or enter through the front gate.

The first option of destroying the Magic Array was obviously unrealistic.

Even a Tier 6 God would find it difficult to destroy a Magic Array that carried such dense Mana, not to mention a Tier 1 Swordsman like Feng.

Yet, entering through the main gate also seemed unrealistic at first glance.

Even a Level 200 Tier 4 class would not dare to provoke eight Level 200 Grand Lords simultaneously. Feng was only a Level 99 Tier 1 Swordsman. Regardless of his strength, the Thunder Beast Guards would send him to oblivion long before he ever reached the Palace gates.

Feng, being the mastermind that he is, though, had a solution to kill the guards without getting absolutely destroyed by them.

In the next moment, a gigantic transparent tree rose up from the ground behind Feng, its branches stretching out and covering a radius of several hundred yards. Feng wasted no time after summoning the Ghost Tree, directing it to send its roots through the ground into the restricted area guarded by the Thunder Beast Guards.

After reaching the rank of an Archaic Species Superior Mythic monster, the size of the Ghost Tree had skyrocketed with both the number and length of its branches, but also with its roots now having more area coverage than the specter's branches.

If the Ghost Tree were to send any of its branches into the forbidden zone around the Palace, the guards would react without question and come to slay the monster, along with Feng who had summoned it. Even as a Level 109 Superior Mythic monster that was exceptionally strong for its rank and quite unique in its powers, the Ghost Tree was still no match for the Level 200 Grand Lords.

Despite the Ghost Tree's near immunity to physical attacks, the gap in levels between them would allow the Thunder Beast Guards to strike and do damage to it with just regular attacks.

Had the guards been Level 199 or below, there might have still been some chance of the Ghost Tree putting up a fight against them thanks to its special constitution and the Thunder Beast Guards being merely mechanical creatures without high intelligence.

At Level 200, however, creatures practically become completely different beings, reaching a higher level of existence.

Level 200 was a massive turning point in God's Domain. The benefits players could receive from reaching Level 200 would be no different than achieving a one-tier promotion.

Under the same tier, a Level 200 player fully equipped with Epic Weapons and Equipment could match a Level 190 player fully equipped with Legendary Equipment. And if the opponent was a Level 180 player, they would be beaten black and blue, even if they had a Legendary Weapon.

Even in the Greater God's Domain, most weapons and equipment had a level limit of 200. Even Fragmented Legendary items were not an exception. It was just that their level limit was not clearly indicated. However, so long as players with Fragmented Legendary items leveled past 200, they would realize that no matter how much they leveled up, their Fragmented Legendary items' Basic Attributes would no longer increase with their levels.

This was also one of the factors contributing to the difficulty of leveling past Level 200 for players.

Once players reached Level 200, they would no longer receive EXP when killing monsters of the same level or lower. They would even stop receiving EXP from quests below the Legendary rank. While this wouldn't necessarily be a problem if monsters similarly stopped growing, the problem was that monsters did continue to gain Basic Attributes past Level 200, and even more extensively than on lower levels.

Hence, no matter how powerful the Ghost Tree was at Level 109, it would only end up getting completely demolished in front of the Level 200 Thunder Beast Guards, which would make entering the 200-yard radius around the Palace a death sentence for both it and Feng regardless of if it was just its branch that went in.

While sending its roots from below the ground, though, the Thunder Beast Guards were not likely to notice the Ghost Tree's intrusion since their detection range only covered the surface level. Moreover, due to its ghostly form, the Ghost Tree would not cause the slightest disturbance underneath the ground, so even if the guards were capable of sensing if something was moving below them, the roots without a proper physical form would escape their attention.

On the occasion that they are capable of detecting the Ghost Tree's roots as they got closer to the Palace's gate, the guards would most likely focus their attention on the things approaching the place and try to stop them, or at least they would do so at first before switching to attacking the Ghost Tree.

Feng would still have enough time to react, recall the Ghost Tree, and get out of there using Space Movement, Spatial Shift, or Echoport in that case before the Thunder Beast Guards could reach and slaughter him.

Carefully watching the actions of the mechanical guards for any concerning changes, Feng sat completely still in anticipation while directing the Ghost Tree to continue moving its roots closer to the Grand Lords.

To his relief, even when the Ghost Tree's roots got right below the feet of one of the Thunder Beast Guards, none of them showed any reaction.

For the next step of Feng's plan, the Ghost Tree controlled one of the ghostly roots to go upwards just an inch below the earth, and the Thunder Beast Guard's foot, before moving into the mechanical monster's leg like a worm.

The Thunder Beast Guard finally seemed to sense something as it looked around, scanning its surroundings for any enemies, then glancing down at its foot. After inspecting it for a moment and not noticing anything, the guard no longer payed it any mind and went back to its duties.

That was another massive weight off Feng's thoughts upon the Thunder Beast Guard not reacting too much to the Ghost Tree's roots entering inside it.

"Do it." Seeing everything go along with his expectations and that his plan was on the right track, Feng commanded the Ghost Tree to begin the next step of his plan.

Following his order, the Ghost Tree put into effect one of its new skills, Possessing Roots.

Possessing Roots was an Intrinsic Tier 4 Taboo Skill the Ghost Tree acquired after becoming a Superior Mythic monster. It allowed the Ghost Tree's roots to infiltrate the body of another creature and affect it internally.

Using the skill, the Ghost Tree could consume the target's HP and heal itself while preventing their natural recovery, devour their soul, or, under the condition that there wasn't a large difference in strength and Level between the Ghost Tree and the creature its roots entered, even control the target like a puppet.

Moreover, since it was an Intrinsic ability that came naturally to the Ghost Tree as a being, Possessing Roots has neither a duration nor cooldown and only consumes the user's Mana and Concentration in order to stay in effect, meaning that as long as the Ghost Tree doesn't run out of energy, it could continue using Possessing Roots for indefinitely; even ignoring the skill's improved duration of one hour and forty-five minutes for as long as it was in effect and the tree was consuming a creature's life force, though its combat power would be limited in that situation.

Of course, there were conditions for the Ghost Tree to be able to use it such as the target having a lower tier than it and not moving around a lot, along with the skill's effects being very noticeable to living creatures or those with high intelligence, so there wouldn't normally be many situations where the skill would be useful except on weak creatures Feng could easily kill anyway.

But now it has come into perfect use. Due to the Thunder Beast Guards' nature and characteristics, the skill could still be used on them, and since they were machines, the guards would not have much of a reaction to getting their life force drained as other creatures would, staying still and doing their job mechanically.

Though, it wasn't possible for the Ghost Tree to control them using Possessing Roots since the gap in levels between it and the Thunder Beast Guards was simply too high, while it was also impossible for the Ghost Tree to kill them quickly through devouring their souls, as mechanical guards like them had none.

Beings like the Thunder Beast Guards or any other mechanical creatures with no souls were the bane of someone like Feng and the Ghost Tree, who use soul-related abilities to deal with their opponents.

After all, such abilities can't affect machines and were their perfect counter.

However, the Ghost Tree was still capable of slowly draining the Thunder Beast Guards' HP with Possessing Roots so long as the Grand Lords don't move from their positions.

As he stared ahead at the Thunder Beast Guard who the Ghost Tree had snuck a root into, Feng finally saw one of its HP bars decrease ever so slightly. It wasn't even really a visible change that anyone would notice if they weren't paying complete attention to the guard's health, but to Feng, it was the potential for him to kill Level 200 monsters before he even reached Level 100.

Normally, in order to get into the Imperial Palace of the Thunder Beast Empire, one would have to find and kill many Ghouls that the Thunder Beast Guards would not kill even if they entered the restricted zone.

The Thunder Beast Guards should be absolutely neutral. They should regard both players and monsters as enemies. These Ghouls, though, happen to be past nobles who had high ranks in the Thunder Beast Empire before getting cursed and turning from humans into the monsters they are today.

They were actually able to deter even the Thunder Beast Guards from attacking them.

Players are supposed to eliminate all the Ghouls within the area who possessed high enough noble ranks to be allowed entry into the Palace, liberating them, and making it possible for the player to gain Thunder Beast Empire Reputation points by killing other Ghouls.

Obviously, one could not casually approach a Kingdom's or Empire's Palace. One first needed a certain amount of Reputation.

Unfortunately, neither a Kingdom's nor an Empire's Reputation was easy to obtain. Generally, one had to complete special quests or obtain the First Clear of Team Dungeons to gain Reputation for a Kingdom or Empire.

These Thunder Beast Guards were mechanical puppets. They would only carry out the commands they had been given. Hence, if a player had sufficient Reputation with the Empire, they could walk into the Palace unhindered.

Meanwhile, if one wanted to enter a Kingdom's Palace, one needed to become a Count first. As for an Empire's Palace, one had to become a Marquis.

Becoming a Marquis required 5,000 Reputation Points.

Normally, it would be exceedingly difficult to accumulate so much Reputation. But in this Quest one only needed to kill Ghouls. With this, it would be much easier to rise to the rank of Marquis.

Once their Reputation is high enough and the player becomes a Marquise, they'd be allowed by the Thunder Beast Guards to step within the 200-yard radius of the Palace without the Level 200 Grand Lords murdering them and could go into the Palace as well.

After all, for a quest in a Level 60 map, even a Legendary Quest, Level 60 players should be able to complete it.

However, even Level 200 players would not be able to get past the Thunder Beast Guards before him, much less Level 60 players. At the very minimum, it would take a team of ten Level 200 Tier 4 players to defeat them.

So using this method, it became possible for even players below Level 60 to complete this Epic Quest, like Feng did during the previous timeline before he even reached Level 40.

At least, that's how it was intended for the Quest takers to enter the Imperial Palace by the system.

With Feng's method, though, he could first kill the Thunder Beast Guards and then enter the Palace despite being severely under-leveled to complete the task thanks to him acquiring the Wraithwood Sigil.

Though, it's going to take an extremely long amount of time to completely drain all of the guards' HP, since even with the huge difference between them and the Ghost Tree in rank and Life Rating, the Ghost Tree hadn't been able to take away even 0.1% of the Thunder Beast Guard's HP even after a couple of minutes.

Such a slow process made sense considering the enormous HP Level 200 monsters possess, so Feng could only settle for it and have the Ghost Tree send a root to each of the Thunder Beast Guards, doing the same thing to them as the first one and slowly draining all of their HPs.

Not only would using Possessing Roots on each of the mechanical guards at the same time speed up the process exponentially, but it was also to make sure none of the other Thunder Beast Guards get suspicious upon seeing one of their comrades drop to the ground after the other, potentially realizing what was going on and becoming aware of the Ghost Tree's actions.

In the meantime, Feng didn't want to just sit around doing nothing, so he decided to kill the Ghouls and earn Reputation points anyway just in case his current plan didn't work, and to not get troubled by the mechanical guards inside the Palace which he couldn't deal with the same way he was currently killing these Grand Lords.

There were naturally more guards patrolling around in the Palace, and although they were weaker than the ones guarding the gate, the ones inside were still Level 200 Great Lords that will destroy Feng the moment they catch sight of him if he does not possess a high enough noble rank to enter the Palace.

Unlike in the Thunder Beast Guards' case, Feng couldn't kill them using the Ghost Tree due to the environment of the Palace's interior, if his summoned specter could even enter it in the first place, the mechanical guards inside the Palace moving around constantly and being much more likely to notice if Possessing Roots was used on them, as well as Feng not wanting to attract the attention of Kaiser, who was still inside the Palace.

It was also why Feng didn't dare to just use Ethereality in order to move below the ground in his ghostly form and avoid the Thunder Beast Guards that way.

Deciding to farm the ghouls and become a Marquise of the Thunder Beast Empire, Feng first had the Ghost Tree take control of the Ghouls standing within the restricted area using Possessing Roots, which was trivially easy for it to do when its targets were these Level 60 Special Elites instead of the powerful mechanical puppets protecting the gate.

The Ghost Tree carefully inserted its roots into the Ghouls and slowly controlled them to leave the 200-yard radius of the Palace in order to avoid catching the attention of the Thunder Beast Guards, Feng hoping the entire time that the Grand Lords wouldn't notice what the Ghost Tree was doing with crossed fingers.

There were only a couple of Ghouls that had roamed around the Palace, so it didn't take too much time and effort to get them out of there.

After a dozen minutes of directing the Ghouls, they all finally left the restricted area, at which point the Ghost Tree simply picked them up with its branches and brought the restrained Special Elites to Feng.

With a single Earth Splitter, Feng immediately killed all the Ghouls. Upon their death, a golden light escaped from one of the Ghoul's bodies and flew towards the sky. After the golden light dissipated, a golden beam shot into Feng's body.

The sound of a system notification suddenly rang in Feng's ears.

System: You have liberated a bound soul and have received the blessing of the dead. For each Ghoul you kill, you will increase your Thunder Beast Empire Reputation by 1 point.

When the Ghouls died, they transformed into a bundle of meat and green liquid. They also dropped a few Silver Coins and some other items. Among the Ghoul's loot, Feng found an item that he was very familiar with.

Mastery Book!

This item was extremely rare and would provide players with Free Mastery Points.

Normally, it could only be obtained from Treasure Chests or Quests. But in the ruins of the Thunder Beast Imperial Capital, it was actually possible for mere Special Elites to drop Mastery Books.

Feng's One-handed Sword Mastery had already reached the Basic Sword Saint level, the Mastery increasing his damage with the one-handed sword by 440%.

At this stage of the game, even for powerful experts, being an Advanced Swordsman was impressive, receiving a 20% damage increase. The majority of the expert players in God's Domain were currently stuck as Intermediate Swordsman.

Feng checked the Mastery Book's information, and it was expectedly a Bronze Mastery Book.

When used, a Bronze Mastery Book could provide players with anywhere from 5 to 25 Free Mastery Points, significantly fewer than a Mysterious-Iron Mastery Book's 10 to 50 points.

Of the several Ghouls Feng had killed, each of them had dropped a Bronze Mastery Book. The drop rate was normally quite low and mostly depended on the noble rank these Ghouls had possessed, but with Feng's Luck, there was a greater chance these Ghouls would drop Mastery Books than that they wouldn't.

Feng then moved on to the rest of the Ghouls in the ruined capital. The Ghost Tree used its long branches to gather all the nearby Ghouls and keep them from running while also stopping any Suffering Souls and Ghouls from wandering into the restricted area.

With it only being able to reach within a few hundred yards around it, the number of Ghouls the Ghost Tree could get with its branches was very limited as it stood still to absorb the Thunder Beast Guards' life force, having been told by Feng to not move from its position out of fear the Level 200 Grand Lords might notice the Ghost Tree's actions.

Hence, Feng had the Superior Mythic tree specter use one of its skills to grow out saplings and create several little Grand Lord ranked Ghost Trees which it then sent in different directions to collect any Ghouls they encountered. Feng also took action on his own, summoning Celestina and having her go around capturing the helpless Ghouls as well, along with going out to kill Ghouls himself.

The Demon Empress gave him a distasteful look after hearing Feng's command, growing quite shocked when she noticed what he was attempting with the Thunder Beast Guards a moment later, leaving behind a comment about Feng courting death before flying off to catch Ghouls using her means.

Flying throughout the Imperial Capital, Feng activated Divine Providence and killed all the Ghouls he came across either by using his AoE skills or simply throwing the Blazing Meteor at them in quick succession, all the while the Salvage Ghosts quickly trailed behind him and hastily picked up the drops without even having time to appraise any of the items due to how fast their master was moving and killing creatures, creating more work for them.

As one Ghoul after another fell, Feng's Reputation rose.

System: You have killed a Ghoul. Reputation in Thunder Beast Empire +1.

System: You have killed a Ghoul. Reputation in Thunder Beast Empire +1.

System: You have killed a Ghoul. Reputation in Thunder Beast Empire +1.

After about an hour, Feng cleared out all the Ghouls within the area of the Imperial Capital that he had chosen for himself, having long since become a Marquise and even gained enough Reputation points to reach the rank of Duke.

Unfortunately, the further from the Imperial Palace that he got, the fewer Ghouls appeared, and the lower their ranks, so it limited his gains.

Still, the number of items and Bronze Mastery Books he got for killing thousands of Ghouls along the way was in no way small, the Salvage Ghosts having nearly broken their nonexistent backs in the process.

As for EXP, it wasn't that much considering the Ghouls were merely Level 60 Special Elites while Feng was Level 99, but it was better than nothing and gave a minuscule boost towards upgrading Worldly Purification.

With no more Ghouls around, Feng decided to return, flying back to the Palace.

Over there, a spectacular scene of an enormous amount of Ghouls flailing around among the Ghost Tree's branches like decorations played out, perplexing Feng. Even with the Ghost Tree's size and its thousands of branches being dozens to hundreds of yards long, the Ghouls were still a bit cluttered among the gigantic tree's crown.

There had to be multiple tens of thousands of Ghouls gathered here by the Ghost Tree's summons and Celestina. The demon girl herself was resting nearby, evidently enjoying the bit of freedom she had during this time in this Mana rich environment.

Asking her and Ghost Tree about their collection, Feng was informed that they had gathered every Ghoul within the Imperial Capital. This pleased Feng to no end as he looked at the numerous Special Elites struggling to escape the Ghost Tree's clutches.

He then had the Ghost Tree throw all the Ghouls they had caught onto the Trade Area, which had the most spacious area in the surroundings and was empty enough for most of the Ghouls to fit there.

When the Ghost Tree had freed all of the captured Ghouls and allowed them to roam the streets once more, Feng began slaughtering them, throwing out a Thundering Flash in the most crowded area while casting Flame Domain at the place not within the lightning sea's range, followed by Shockwave and all of his other AoE skills.

Only a few hundred of the Ghouls remained scattered throughout by the time he was done, which he quickly finished as well.

Seeing the over a hundred thousand drops littering the Trade Area, Feng felt a sense of satisfaction and had the Salvage Ghosts start collecting the loot, looking forward to the number of Mastery Books he'll get from this giant batch of Ghouls.

Picking up all the items took nearly an hour of Feng patiently waiting, but when he finally saw the fruit of his labor, the smile on Feng's face instantly disappeared "The fuck is this?"

He had previously obtained nearly a hundred Bronze Mastery Books while flying and killing the thousands of Ghouls on his own, so it would only make sense for this huge group of the Special Elites, to drop at least several thousand Mastery Books.

However, after collecting all the Bronze Mastery Books and even adding the previous ones he obtained, his total barely made up over two hundred Mastery Books.

Such a small number couldn't even be attributed to bad luck, which Feng did not have. The system was clearly screwing with him!

"Oi! I have a complaint!" There was no way Feng could simply sit still and take this injustice, so he immediately filed a complaint with the Main God's System through the system feedback option.

Feng, in an eloquent manner, reported that he had been scammed by the drops, and that the system should correct this error.

Naturally, Feng knew that there was no way the Main God's System would make such a mistake, and he had his suspicions about what had happened, but he still chose to send a message to the system in hopes of possibly getting the expected number of Mastery Books.

Unfortunately, the system's response confirmed Feng's guess on why so few had dropped.

System: Player's Level has greatly exceeded the set Level. Loot decreased. Use of excessive outside power. Loot greatly decreased.

System: The items dropped have been correctly adjusted.

As Feng had thought, the reason for why his loot was less than he predicted would drop was due to his Level being much higher than 60 and him using Celestina and the Ghost Tree to hasten the process, quickly rounding up all the Ghouls to be slaughtered.

But he still felt that the Main God's System was being unfair towards him. After all, since he was capable of controlling Celestina and summoning the Ghost Tree was a skill from one of his equipment, then they should count as a part of his strength as well, or if not the Demon Empress, then at least the Ghost Tree shouldn't be considered as outside power.

Even if the loot is decreased, it shouldn't be to this extent, so the Main God's System definitely had it out for him and was using loopholes to forcibly decrease the number of Bronze Mastery Books he received from the Ghouls.

A similar situation has occurred to Feng before when he obtained something that would upset the current state of God's Domain, such as when Feng had completed the Holy Cavers' Treasure Epic Hidden Quest, however his gains were simply fairly adjusted at the time, and the quantity was replaced with the quality of the items. Furthermore, the change had never been this drastic.

Feng once again made another complaint with all of this in mind, but the system's response left him stumped.

System: Your complaint has been noted.
