The Grand Catrastophe

Chapter 5: Adventure Awaits! part two (15)

As the three of them moved into the room that they had been given, Momonga removed her helmet. It was a pretty thing, her armor. The gun metal gray material reflected the most normal looking light one would associate with plate armor.

Though, this set was made of a rather unique metal, at least by the new world’s standards. It was made out of a metal known pretty well in Yggdrasil, Alchemical iron. It had lower baseline stats than its rival, admantite. Yet it had a higher data capacity. That made it easier to put as many enchants in it as possible.

The two blades on either side of her hips were a pair of renaissance age longswords. If you don’t know what the author is talking about, look them up. Their rather gorgeous looking swords.

The blades themselves were made of the same stuff as the armor she wore. Three and a half feet of metal lay in the scabbards at her hips. She had thought about using

But, back to the matter at hand. A matter that Momonga was already tired of, despite the fact that she hadn’t even brought it up yet.

“You two nearly caused a scene. A scene I’d rather not get involved with,” Momonga spoke then put a hand to her brow in concentration, “Just, for the love of God, don’t do that again.”

The two others in the room, Albedo and Narberal Gamma, nodded their heads. Though, in the guise of adventurers, they had decided to go with the names Anna and Nabe. Albedo decided to go with the name Anna because it was simple, and Nabe decided to go with the name Nabe because it was close to her actual name.

“Oh course, Lady Momonga,” Nabe said, frustrating Momonga somewhat.

Anna looked at Nabe with a frown and spoke to her in a reprimanding manner.

“Nabe, remember to speak to our lady in a casual manner when we’re like this. It is rather important for the plan,” she said with conviction.

Nabe looked at Anna and went back to Momonga, then bowed stiffly.

“Forgive me, my lady for not understanding your plan to its fullest. Even after hearing it I cannot quite grasp what it truly is,” she apologized and took out her sword from her sheath and put it to her neck.

Momonga panicked at this and told her to put the sword away. Though, before she could do so, she spoke. Her voice was full of conviction and utter devotion as she said her words.

“Please allow this foolish one to take her own life, my lady,” she said and Momonga panicked, to the point of her emotional suppression going off.

“No, stop! You don’t have to make up for anything,” she said, “if anything, it is I who failed to properly explain the plan. So don’t just go and start offering up your life like that!” Momonga said, bowing at the last line.

The others in the room panicked at this and made to ask the supreme one to raise her head. She did so after much begging from her subordinates. Then Momonga spoke up so as to remind them what they were actually doing here.

“Ok, just so we all remember the plan, I will explain it,” she said with a little bit of pride.

After all, she actually made this plan this time. It originally just started as a way to get out and into the outside world, but after some thought, she had added more objectives onto it. One of those objectives being:

“First step of the plan is to sign up and become adventurers. This is so we can better gain information in this world. After all, if we are to be powerful adventures, then we must information on the rest of this world so as to better complete our jobs,” she said.

“The second step is to gain money that is recognized by the people of this world. After all, if we start using Yggdrasil money, then we might get spotted by any other players in this world. That would be bad, and I don’t think I have to explain why?” she asked, and nabe nodded her head with a serious expression on her face.

“Third is to better spread our name out there, though indirectly. We will say in most conversations that pertain to religion or our religion, that we follow the goddess of death, Momonga,” she finished her lecture.

Nabe and Anna looked on, utterly captivated by the plan that their leader had made. Momonga looked o at this, with slight embarrassment. She planned on making herself a goddess in this world. After all, the people of this world seemed to eager to take what they had for granted.

So, she decided to make a religion that broke that practice down and rebuilt it up. Making a more encompassing and thankful culture. Of course, they hadn’t quite made up all the rules for the religion quite yet.

When she had brought up this plan to thew guardians, Demiurge started crying and began mumbling something along the lines of; “Of course Lady Momonga would come up with such a flawless plan. Sasuga Momonga Sama!” so on and so forth.

“Flawless plan, Lady Momonga…” Nabe mumbled.

“No, it is not flawless,” she retorted with a sullen look, “Remember, right now I am known as Calvaria. You and Anna can’t read any of the script of this place. While my helmet has the, “Arcane script,” enchant. Neither of you can read the words of this country,” she said exasperated.

She then clapped her hands, ready to get out into the world. She smiled and began to walk towards the door with a pep in her step.

“But now is not the time to think about that. Now, it is the time to find a job!” she said with gusto as she put back on her helmet and moved to the door of the room.

But then she realized something. She looked to the window. The sky was dark and blanketed with a large and thick cloud. She sighed and moved to the bed on the side of the wall.

“Never mind, we get a job in the morning,” she said as she plopped down on the bed and moved her armor to her inventory, revealing casual clothes underneath, Nabe and Anna couldn’t the blush on their faces.

After trying to sleep in her rather powerful magic items, she found that it was nearly impossible to do so. So, she simply put on more casual garments and slept in them instead.

Nabe and Anna looked at their leader and smiled. They themselves felt rather honored at being able to follow their lady here and help her with this plan. Though, Anna had other plans on her mind.

A smile graced her face as and also put her armor in her inventory and jumped on the now comfortable Calvaria. The other woman made a noise that didn’t really sound all to flattering as she was trapped underneath the all to happy succubus.

Nabe just stood there. She stood there silently looking at them. She closed her eyes, and took a deep breath and let it out. She felt like a third wheel in this moment. She would also feel this way for the rest of the night as Albedo, in the guise of Anna, used the supreme one as a pillow for the night.
