You Are Deep in The Stars

Chapter 8 - You’re Looks So Evil Without Glasses I

“It’s for holding garbage, why are you holding it?” Han Zhuo couldn’t laugh or cry, and handed him the wet tissue: “Wipe your hands.”

“I just want to try, you are too strong,” Bai Xi was shocked, “Even a baseball players have a whole preparation process, I have never seen anyone who can blow away a thing with a ‘swish’, and the aim is quite accurate.”

“Without skills, how do you think I got a work?” Han Zhuo took the sesame cakes from the boss’s hand, “Let’s go back.”

Bai Xi followed him for two steps, but hesitated again. He looked at Han Zhuo and asked with some anxiety, “Could the thief just now be the same as the people who followed us before?”

“I don’t think so. He should be just an ordinary thief,” Han Zhuo replied, “If they wanted your mobile phone, they wouldn’t choose such a stupid and blatant way.”

Bai Xi said “hmm” and said no more, but still unlocked the phone unconsciously, as if he wanted to check the contents inside.

“Don’t think too much,” Han Zhuo covered his phone screen with his palm and smiled gently, “I’m here, don’t worry.”

“What’s going on?” Bai Xi looked at him, “My parents will definitely not want to tell me, but they won’t hire a bodyguard casually. Something really serious might be happening.” He hesitated for a moment, then asked again, “Will you tell me, what is going on?”

“If you want to know, I will,” Han Zhuo put his phone into his trouser pocket for him, “But we are going back to the KTV first, let’s have fun and we will talk about this later tonight, okay?”

“Okay, deal,” Bai Xi high-fived him and warned, “Don’t lie to me, or I’ll file a complaint to Aunt Li.”

Mr. Han raised his hands in surrender.

.

The three people in the KTV had already gotten over the excitement and were chatting. When they saw the two people coming in, Liu Chunchun protested: “Brother Bai, I agreed to treat you.”

“When you find a job, you can treat us a big meal.” Bai Xi put one hand around his shoulder, “Let’s go to your house?”

“Oh… how do I repay a great kindness,” Liu Chunchun leaned on his shoulder and said with tears in his eyes, “Is there still a shortage of people in your house to sweep the floor, wash dishes, give massages and provide baths?”

“No,” Bai Xi refused coldly.

“The new graduate is frustrated looking for work. He is disheartened,” Liu Chunchun leaned on the armrest. “Capitalists are indeed evil. Xiao Jiong, let’s go and drive back to the college.”

Yu Jiong kicked his wheelchair and ruthlessly said, “Go on your own.”

The world was so cold, Liu Chunchun sobbed all the way, and was driven back to the rental house by Mr. Han. Although it only had one room and one living room, it was kept clean and tidy. Wang Xiaosen also spent a huge sum of money to buy him a wool floor mat, which was very pink and shockingly ugly.

Han Zhuo bought vegetables from the market downstairs and was busy in the kitchen. Bai Xi stood beside him and observed, and then confirmed again that Aunt Li would have a sense of career crisis with how good Mr. Han cooked.

“Go out and wait,” Han Zhuo said, “The kitchen is too small, it’s too crowded. You might hit your head.”

“You are too good at everything,” Bai Xi turned sideways to make way for him, “Is there anything you can’t do?”

“Huh?” Mr. Han thought for a moment, “Well, even if you don’t know how, I can learn it as long as it was needed.”

He said this very gently. Bai Xi looked at him through the lenses for a moment, and then said on a whim: “I’m curious to see you without glasses.”

“Huh?” Han Zhuo smiled and continued to pour the soup out of the pot, “It’s nothing special, I look just like an ordinary person.”

“Let me take a look,” Bai Xi stretched out his hand.

Han Zhuo avoided him and said, “Be good. Don’t mess around.”

Seeing that he seemed to be very concerned about his glasses, Bai Xi became even more curious. He followed him like a slug and kept harassing him. Mr. Han calmly dodged left and right, and he still cooked without any delay.

Bai Xi walked around him for a long time but was blocked by Han Zhuo with his back. In the end, he almost hit his own nose, so he protested: “I want to complain to the Consumer Association.”

“What’s the reason for the complaint?” Han Zhuo raised his lips and chopped vegetables slowly.

“You could not meet the employer’s needs,” Bai Xi grabbed his shirt on the back with both hands and shook it back and forth.

Han Zhuo wiped his hands clean and turned to look at him: “Do you really want to see it?”

Bai Xi nodded immediately.

“Okay, let’s see.” Han Zhuo leaned over slightly and closed his eyes in cooperation.

Bai Xi chuckled and reached out to take off his glasses.

“Brother Bai!” Wang Xiaosen appeared at the door of the kitchen like a hero, “Should I help you?”

Han Zhuo quickly stood up straight and carried the dishes out of the kitchen: “Get ready to eat.”

Bai Xi’s eyes darkened, and he gestured for Wang Xiaosen to come closer with a hook of his finger.
